Was a Great food place. HOWEVER SADLY IT HAS CLOSED DOWN AS OF JANUARY 21st 2024. It has been taken over and is going to be a TAPAS BAR/ RESTAURANT after Renovation

Lovely wee find, really nice atmosphere, helpful staff and tasty food at great prices. Definitely will be back.

Used this place a few times and their steak pie and chips is really nice. Rich, meaty chunks of stew and a rich gravy. The goujons are probably the best i've ever had. Also, never had to wait more than 30 minutes for a delivery. Never been disappointed by the food or quality of service.

Delicious food . Speedy and courteous delivery . Would highly recommend for value and taste.

Oh dear I’m sorry but this has gone downhill! I was there a couple of years ago and food was lovely but this time the Mac and cheese was tasteless. Not sure if it’s a different chef or different owners but I definitely won’t b back. Even the ice cream was cheap and poor quality. Wasn’t questioned when I left most of food. Obviously not interested! Shame.

Lovely homemade steak pie. The pastry wasn't freshly made, but still edible. My mum liked her small portion of fish and chips too.

Love this place the food is amazing and staff so friendly

Food: 9/10, had a very good burger with chips, worth the price. Pricing: 8/10, my own food was worth the price, others said they received a bit less than they expected. Staff: 9/10, everyone was pleasant and were quick to take orders and removed plates as soon as we were finished without hovering around us. Wait Time: 7/10, took around 30 minutes for 3 meals, not horrible but not perfect. 9/10 experience overall.

Very ordinary food( nearly pub food)..Service was fine..its ok for a 2 course light lunch..that's about it.

First time in this place today after a recommendation. I have to say very pleasantly surprised. 2 course meal for £6.50, feels like I've just robbed the place. The food was excellent, burger and chips for me and it wasn't the usual cheap burger you may expect at this price, very tasty and good quality meat, chips were crispy and nicely fried. The fudge cake was truly excellent, good sized slice that was wolfed down in no time. We will be back.

steaks were perfectly cooked as ordered portions were great and both kids ate everything we also ordered from here at the weekend for a party buffet and all the guests loved the food

First time visiting here for lunch and was suitably impressed, its much bigger and nicer lnside than we expected. The lunchtime menu is limited but very good and very good value. We had the soup and pate for starters, both excellent followed by the haddock and chips which was lovely. We were happy with the service and presentation  of the food. We will definatly return to try the evening menu.

Ordered takeaway kids enjoyed their meals of sausage and burger but my macaroni cheese wasnt nice. Very tasteless. Could see lots cheese on it but couldn't taste the cheese, must be the type of cheese use as wasn't strong at all for a macaroni. Wouldn't order again because of that

Had lunch here today first and last time. Food was bland/dry and completely tasteless. Had to ask for extra sauce as it was so dry. The sauce also tasted like a ready mix straight from a packet. Not sure if it was the owner that served me but she had zero customer service. She even seemed slightly aggressive when I questioned the fact that the kids menu stated chicken nuggets yet my daughter was served a very thick battered tasteless chicken gooujon. Exactly the same that was served to me dressed up as katsu curry ( which I didn't eat and neither did my daughter) after I questioned her the full experience got extremely awkward, She then took £2 off our bill which was laughable. Yes I get they offer good deals but that's not why I went in. the place looks decent from the outside and it's nice inside too but unfortunately the food and staff seriously let it down. All in all a very unpleasant experience. I would not recommend this place at all.

First of all I praise the restaurant for their honesty. I paid the driver cash forgetting I had already paid by card. The money was promptly rerurned to me. Food though was absolutely disgusting. Lukewarm soup carton only half full, hot soggy salad, overcooked greasy mac cheese which tasted awful (only had a fork full), undercooked chicken beneath the thick batter/breadcrumbs, dried up chips, tasteless mozarella sticks. Steak pie was hot and edible. A neighbour took the mac cheese to try it the rest went in the bin. Won't be ordering again or recommending to anyone.

Lovely place, Food brilliant, good portion size, always feel well fed and to top it all great prices - stall all nice and friendly - great service! Closed just now but doing takeaways - just phone shop for deliveries - book in advance to avoid disappointment!!

Can you beat a 2 course set menu for £5.95 I dont think so Have eaten here many times, mostly pre lockdown but went last weekend and really enjoyed food Great service, great value Will go back time and time again

Have been a few times since lockdown eased and loved it. Staff very friendly and good precautions in place to keep everyone safe. Simple good food done well! Not much more to be said, give it a go and enjoy.
