Great place to eat. Portions are generous and a large selection to choose from. The toasties are brilliant and chips even better (proper home cooked style chips)! The staff are very pleasant and welcoming and know a lot by name.

Absolutely stupendous place. Popular but a good turnover of customers. Food is fabulous. Place spotless and staff so welcoming. Definitely go to this place folks.

Had a kids meal, burger was cheap and not tasty, I had a toastie which was ok chips were disappointing and it cost £17 which I didn't think was good value

My wife and I popped in for lunch - the food was excellent and we had a nice coffee - busy place - probably due to the fact that the food is homemade and is a reasonable price with excellent quality - I can safely give Scoffs Coffee house a massive 👍 up 😀

mum and I were up town centre and wanted a little snack we came here and both got a nice sandwich was lovely and fresh will certainly be back.

Had the lentil soup here yesterday and it was FABULOUS 😍😍. Give it a try when i you can. The coffee house is usually fairly busy, but if you can get a seat/table, you won't be disappointed with the tasty selection of food on offer.

Came here with my mum was lovely and tasty and the staff are so friendly, I reccommend the Jalepeno chicken and cheese it is so tasty.

Hi had a lovely latte and my daughter had soup. Staff were amazing. It is nice to think still genuine people about.

Went for lunch with my wife ordered 2 fish and chips .My fish was battered jaydens was breaded the batter was amazing defiantly fresh home made her breaded haddock was amazing .For food this quality the price was amazing. DEFIANTLY be back.

Staff and service very good. Not much choice for the vegetarian like myself but my family have a better option and certainly enjoy their meals.

Lovely little cafe with lots to choose from and great selection of food, the staff are so friendly but one thing that put me off again as I said I wouldn't be back but gave it another go it is so noisy, the staff are so noisy with the plates as if they are just throwing them about I just feel as if I cannot think straight when I come here sorry but that is my only downfall.

When you can find it open, it's a good place to eat, nice food, reasonable prices. I don't stay in Motherwell, but a lot of the times I go there, its closed

Best fry in Central Motherwell. Staff are nice even when busy.

always a busy little cafe, just about the only nice little cafe to go for lunch in motherwell which is probably why. Food tastes great and service is really fast. The coronation chicken is out of this world. Staff are always super friendly and chatty with regulars as well as newbies. Prices are fab also, totally reccommend this place :)

Came here for lunch with my son and mum the food was lovely the staff were friendly and lovely but the noise gave my such a headache had to come home and lie down could't hear myself think , kids running about crying and screaming this shouldn't be allowed.

Scoffs is our favourite cafe by miles. If we could we'd go there every day. The effort put in by the girls to keep the shop safe goes far beyond what we've seen elsewhere. Food is excellent and it surely is service with a smile.

When go into Motherwell shopping pop into scoffs cafe lovely food what a treat and for the staff out standing lovely people can't do enough for you will definitely be back

Dropped in with 30 minutes to spare before a trip to leeds entered at 9.20 to catch train to edinburgh and on to Leeds from entering found the staff very friendly and knowledegable who worked as a team making the service quick. Ordereded a full breakfast minus eggs and mushrooms and was asked what i would like in there place some 5 mins later waitress brought my breakfast cutlery and cup of tea over so without rushing had time to enjoy a delightfull well cooked breakfast,pay the bill and make the 09.55 train to Edinburgh with 5 minutes to spare. Will be back on any future journeys from Motherwell

Food was fine very week and watery coffee ,staff member not freindly ,and after finishing was told to move on as we when holding back business,what can I say ,plenty other places for decent coffee in mothewell.

Absolutely delicious food, varied menu, all at a reasonable cost. Excellent staff. So clean too, which is a major plus. Would highly recommend.

Dirty, bought a latte couldn’t drink it cause the cup had previous tea stains, other users lip imprint still on it 🤦🏻‍♀️🤢🤮

First time in it was busy. Not fancy looking place but does the job. Staff was lovely. The food was lovely I could only have baked patato as I am coeliac but other food looked good my kids liked it it was great.

My family and I love Scoffs. The staff are so friendly its like visiting family. My mother and I visit at least once a week and the staff know us and our order by heart. There is so much great food to choose from its hard to decide. Highly recomend everyone visits.

First time back in 17 years and looks the same today as then! They must be getting something right. Honest café cooking at reasonable prices.

The food is freshly cooked and served efficiently but without haste. A great indicator was the queue of people waiting for tables but at no time did we feel rushed as often happens in restaurants when they want the table. A thoroughly enjoyable experience.

Food is fresh and very tasty, staff no matter how busy are always very welcoming and obliging. Lovely friendly atmosphere.

Best place for a breakfast or lunch in motherwell. good prices. loads of options. will do anything from a roll and sausage, wraps etc to a pasta bake (cajun chicken, penne lasagne etc). they do scampi and things like that too. And all day breakfasts 👍

My sis and I had a lovely lunch ,we did remark about the steak pie being a little salty but other than that meal was excellent, staff always busy and kind ,thanks again

Love this cafe for lunch. My wife always gets backed potato with prawns. And I get Mac and cheese. It’s so so tasty for lunch. Best cafe best food well worth a visit.

This is my go-to-place for comfort food. Scoffs is very small and always very busy. If you can put up with the squeeze to get a table - the food is worth it.
