I don’t think I have enough space to fit this into 100 words! Unfortunately I have a medical problem for which I’ve been advised to stick to a “Fodmap” I thought I would never be able to go for dinner with my husband. I called the evening before when a very lovely member of the team asked me to email my food restrictions to her which she gave to Chef Lewis When we arrived for our booking we sat in the gorgeous lounge and was advised that the chef would come to speak to me. Chef Lewis sat with us and went through the menu. I chose to have a rib eye steak, chips, carrots and a lovely tomato salad. I was delighted the steak was melt in your mouth and cooked to perfection, it was all perfect. My husbands food was excellent too. We had a lovely Valentines dinner thanks to the fabulous caring team and fantastic Chef Lewis. We can’t put into words just how much we appreciated your time and for making it a special evening for us. We have booked a table for 5 people for Mother’s Day. No need for a menu for me, same again Lewis. 🥰 We have been to many restaurants all over the World and we have never received the outstanding service, care and attention we received from Chef Lewis and the rest of his team. Wow. £ 4. 90 por una pequeña taza de chocolate caliente. Y estaba tan sucio allí también. Estaba pegado en la mesa, las ventanas sucias, polvo por todas partes. El personal muy joven (supongo que los alumnos que trabajan después de la escuela y fin de semana) era amable.

Lovely family breakfast. Good service, friendly staff and excellent food. The vegan pancakes were delicious. Everyone enjoyed their food. We went back later for lunch take-away. Am sure we will be back.

We booked this for valentines day and were really excited as the pictures looked good. The decor of the restaurant was nice. For starters I had the arranchini, which I love, but this one was SO tasteless, even after dousing it in salt and pepper. For our mains we ordered the pesto tagliatelle and the butternut squash risotto- again both really really tasteless.We could make the pesto pasta way better at home. We left feeling this was way overpriced for what we got, despite the presentation of it being really beautiful.

My mum and son visited the restaurant on 6th July. Unfortunately, my mum took unwell and an ambulance had to be called. My son was extremely upset to see his grandma unwell but said the staff were absolutely excellent making my mum comfortable and supporting both him and my mum. They actually closed the restaurant whilst they waited for the ambulance and refused to take any money for the meal they had started eating. I want to say a massive thank you for the kindness shown to my mum and son, it really meant a lot. From what both my mum and son fed back, the staff were outstanding, fetching my mum cushions to make her comfortable and making cups of tea. You are all an absolute credit and so compassionate. Thank you so much.

Love this wee cafe food is great so is the service girls are so polite and friendly I would honestly say best latte in the area that actually has coffee in it not like the ones further down towards meadows which are overpriced and bland latte 10/10 for Empire cafe .

Food was super bad, dishes did not arrive at the same time. Staff was not welcoming and overwhelmed. Overall, just very very poor.

Comedo aquí antes, hay un buen chef, y no tan buenos chefs, así que cuando aparecemos, sabemos qué esperar, sin embargo, quienquiera que sea el gerente necesita mirar las normas, es una pena decirlo, pero el chef de hoy parecía tan antihigiénico que nos alejamos, fue extremadamente apagado poner, pelo largo y sucio descuidado detrás de su espalda (mitad en una cola de caballo mitad no) , no hay manera de que no esté cayendo en la comida de alguien, y ropa sucia despeinada, esto es un lugar de pizza, y la comida se coloca a mano en su pizza, si su apariencia personal es esta, entonces no quiero que maneje mi comida, realmente pobre de Soderberg, barbas y cabello deben estar cubiertos por una red como mínimo, y los chefs deben estar en atuendo limpio, no es un requisito legal, pero servir comida no contaminada lo es, y esto parecía un gran factor de riesgo.

Overpriced, under taste and seemingly under cooked bacon roll (for decorum I'll just say 'unsettled' digestive track followed). Stale cinnamon bun. At least the coffees and hot chocolate was ok.
