Across from Perth Museum. Stopped for lunch. Excellent lentil and vegetable soup. Open for breakfast and lunch. Good selection of sandwiches and salads. Prices reasonable. Staff very friendly. Would definitely stop again. Give it a try.

Cant think of another word to say accept "FANTASTIC" what more do you want great cake - I don't know how they make them but they are delicious. The Earl Grey tea was perfect and piping hot. We took family who were on holiday in Perth with us and they enjoyed it so much that they went back again. I would recommend this Café to everyone the guys who run it are so cheery and welcoming.

Popped in for lunch when passing. Far better than adequate, lovely soup, good coffee, tempting bakes, pleasant staff, nice ambience, clean toilets, good value.

Wandering around whilst my wife stranded a lunchtime meeting today & dropped upon this gem. A glass of Portuguese Pinot Noir served at a perfect temperature and a cheese board of exceptional quality made killing time an absolute pleasure. Nice little menu and could easily spend many hours in here. Thankyou

Tonight we decided to try the Dunning hotel for our evening meal. The bar is quirky for an older style hotel with bench style seating with cushions. My wife ordered the beef steak pie with vegetables and chips, and I ordered the klopski polish pork meatballs in a tomato sauce, both dishes were very tasty . The meat in the beef steak pie was beautiful and tender with a nice rich flavoured gravy. The polish style meatballs had a lovely flavoursome tomato sauce. The Dunning hotel is nothing fancy but was welcoming and friendly 👍

We stopped off in Perth to get lunch and had a fantastic meal at Rascals. The salad bowl is delicious, the soup of the day was superb, and we both went for the dessert which was an apple crumble tart with custard, but there was also a very tempting selection of cakes available. The Earthy Wonder smoothie is sublime.

My wife and I visited Dunkeld and Birnam after attending a wedding in the area and, after hearing about a bookshop in Birnam, wanted to make sure we visited before heading home. What a fantastic bookshop! We spent ages browing through the superb collection of books - both of us taken with the large range of art and photography books. Even though they were all second hand, the condition was immaculate. The prices for books that essentially looked new was another bonus, being far less than I initially thought. Needless to say we both left very happy with a stack of books between us. Icing on the cake was a coffee to take away (talking of cake, there was cake as well, but sadly after filling ourselves up with our hotel breakfast we couldn't bring ourselves to try any). Service was faultless as well and very pleasant. Will definitely be back next time we're in the area.

My wife and I visited Donna’s Harbour Cafe, Shore Road, Perth for the first time on Wednesday the 30th of October 2024. We were greeted by the very friendly Donna (the owner) and we all enjoyed a bit of banter. There was so much choice of food that it was hard to decide what to order, but I chose a Frankfurter in a Bun with plenty of Fried Onions and my wife had the awesome homemade Macaroni and Cheese with a generous portion of chips. Our meals were well cooked and very tasty for a reasonable price and served with a lovely smile. This Cafe is very clean and the tables are nicely set out. The Harbour Cafe has a great atmosphere to dine in because it’s relaxed and informal with free parking available. My wife and I would highly recommend Donna’s Harbour Cafe. Has the essentials, and some scottish foodstuffs too. Saw some local cheeses, but was gone by the time I realised i should have bought it. You can buy pasties and drinks & sit outside on some tables. Friendly staff

A nice atmosphere inside to enjoy your meal. The food was delicious, as were the cakes afterwards 🤭. Dog friendly also which is a bonus 🐶!

This is a great place for lunch. There is a good choice of meals, snacks and home baking. The staff and owners are so nice and friendly and nothing is too much trouble. It is always busy which confirms how good it is.
