No matter where you are. No matter the season. No matter the place. There’s always chickens. There’s always eggs. Dippy. Scrambled. Fried. Poached. Eggs. So simple. Uncomplicated. Magical. So easy to mess-up, eff-up. The joy of eggs done right. It’s a nod. It’s a smile that doesn’t fade. Doesn’t go away. Chef Rosie. Thanks for making me smile.

We found this place by a chance, as we were waiting for our train. But I couldn't be happier, this place was absolutely magical. We had hot chocolates and a tea as we didn't have much time, but everything was delicious. The staff was super friendly. If I haven't lived over 2000kms away from this place, I would be a regular customer for sure.

Nice food, served by nice staff in a very busy garden centre cafe. We had the special of Cheese and tomato quiche with salad and chunky bread. A wee bit of a wait, but they were busy. The food was very tasty, but the quiche should have been described as mini quiche or a cheese n onion tartlet. We did mention it when paying, stating the food was lovely, and were told our comment would be passed to the chef. We will return as it is normally very good.

Found this little gem last year and were delighted to find they'd risen to the Covid challenge and were operating on a takeaway basis, so on our road north this autumn we were able to book our lunch in advance, and it was every bit as good as what we ate indoors there on our previous visit. Food absolutely fresh and full of flavour - the Mexican GF wrap absolutely zinging and the Ham and Cheese Foccacia utterly delicious. Beautifully presented in environmentally friendly packaging. And the cakes - well, let's not even think about the calorie count - they were fantastic, both the ones we enjoyed on our picnic and those we took for our family to share for socially distanced morning coffee the following day. If you are in Arbroath area, please do yourself a favour and eat at Wild Thyme - you will not regret it, especially if you are veggie, vegan or GF and fed up being palmed off with a single tasteless afterthought on a menu.

Fuimos al mercado de granjeros pargos rojos salteados, buen buen servicio y precio. sorprendidos por la calidad del tocino utilizada en los rollos. Podría decir que era calidad, muy sabroso

Came with my wife for lunch to try the new menu and the club is also now open to non-members. Sat in the bar area with lovely views over the course, service was friendly and efficient and the food was fantastic. Good value too.

Great little pub, everyone welcome, felt like a home from home, (not that we stay in a pub)! Will definitely be back any time we are in Forfar.

Excellent lunch as usual, steak pie once again a triumph although I wish I could get there on the day the side veg is cabbage (my fav). My husband had the home made lasagne which he loved and my two choosy teens had steak pie and chips and tuna (an adjusted menu item, thanks to the obliging kitchen crew). Clean plates all around. Thoroughly recommend the Station, the staff are excellent and the steak pie is legendary. I've been coming to the Station for several years and have never been disappointed once, should mention the homemade curry is also excellent and I was torn today which to choose.

I've visited this cafe many times as we stayed outside Alyth numerous times throughout the year and more so when my sisters cancer was terminal. The reason I'm back today is to visit where their ashes were scattered as both my mom and sister are scattered here together. (We live in Wales) I would agree with many other reviews on here that this is not the friendliest cafe considering how lovely it is. I will point out that most times when the younger girls serve, they're very pleasant. I was here on Monday for tea and cake and the young blonde lady serving was absolute lovely and gave me the WiFi password, as I've also had on previous trips when I've asked. Nothing worse sitting on your own, Billy no mates and can't use your phone. Today I'm stretching and getting signal on and off. Anyhow, I came In today, Wednesday 16 October, no hello.. nothing. Sat down and rude woman appeared with pen and notepad..no hello.. just are you ready to order or do you need another minute? No smile, no pleasantries. I ordered I then went up to look for the password only for her to tell me there isn't one.. you can't have WiFi as we don't have it. I said it's showing up .. and I got it on Monday. No you didn't as we don't give it out... if everyone uses it our tills don't work.. Really ??? 🤔🤔😶🌫️ I said once again I got it on Monday. - no you didn't !! OK.. seemingly I'm a liar now 🙄🙄😔 Honestly I doubt I'll be back here as clearly the same woman, older, glasses and not a scottish accent I don't believe, Blue in her hair this time. You'd think after many complaints they'd do something about this.. unless she's the actual owner.. which sadly I hope not.. She does not make visiting conditions pleasant .

Stopped in for lunch on a recommendation. Really nice atmosphere, clean and well attentive staff. Tables are well spaced so you don't feel you are rating on top of other tables. Varied lunch menu and a great selection of cakes. Food was lovely and good value, definitely be back here.
