The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in Northern Ireland

Recientemente visitamos Actons Restaurant en Belfast para una comida familiar, incluyendo dos celíacos en nuestra fiesta, y nos quedamos completamente impresionados. Desde el principio, el personal fue acogedor y bien informado sobre las opciones gratuitas de gluten, por lo que es una experiencia relajada para todos. Los celíacos compartieron un entrante de gluten - pan de ajo libre con queso derretido. Vino con tres porciones, perfectas para compartir sin estropear el apetito por la red. Para la alimentación principal, tuvimos un filete de solomillo mediano y papas fritas, pollo y chorizo con papas fritas, gluten - pescado gratis y papas fritas, y un tazón de poke de pollo sin gluten. Las porciones eran generosas, especialmente el cuenco de pique, que era enorme. Curiosamente, el cuenco parecía usar una salsa china estilo cinco especias en lugar de teriyaki, con una pechuga de pollo con mariposa con jengibre, chiles, frijoles edamame, pak choi y arroz, sabroso y fresco. El pescado con papas fritas era un producto sin gluten, era el mejor que había tenido en mucho tiempo: crujiente, ligero y sin hinchazón ni efectos secundarios. Fue un verdadero placer encontrar un lugar donde la comida sin gluten no se siente como un compromiso. De todo el menú, solo unos siete elementos no estaban disponibles sin gluten, lo que es excelente. El resto se puede hacer gluten - libre o ya lo son. Para 1 entrante, 4 principales, 3 postres, 3 bebidas gaseosas y una cerveza sin alcohol, la cuenta llegó a £ 130, que pensamos que era una gran relación calidad-precio. El restaurante en sí estaba limpio y muy bien presentado. El personal era amable y atento a nuestras necesidades y nos hizo sentir como en casa. En general, una comida muy agradable con excelente gluten - opciones libres y gran relación calidad-precio. Sin duda volveremos.

En verdad, sólo se puede pagar con dinero en efectivo. La comida estaba bien. Las porciones eran pequeñas. El inconveniente de tener que ir a un cajero hace comer aquí no vale la pena. Prefiero ir a un sitio que pueda pase mi tarjeta de crédito.

Firstly the bar area is immaculate. The toilets are the cleanest I've seen in Newry. Called in for a drink only but the staff were very friendly and didn't make a fuss with our assistance dog. Seems to be a really great venue for food and drink.

I called in after a cycle, it was 4.50 pm and almost closing time , the two girls Rhiannon and Katie were pleasant and helpful, even though it was 10 minutes to close they made us coffee without any fuzz, could easily said sorry we’re closing and we’d have went elsewhere but it was no trouble and Rhiannon happily chatted as she made the coffees . The coffee and carrot cake was gorgeous as well, both these girls are a credit and an asset to your company. Will return just for the pleasant way we were served , thank you Rhiannon and Katie 😊

Almost closing and leaving everyone in the lurch.

My friends and I went to the cocktail master class in Rita’s for two of our friends birthday’s. All of the staff are were so welcoming, attentive and made our whole experience so enjoyable! We left Rita’s feeling like part of the family. A massive shout out to Adam, Artimas and Ben you guys do a fab job and we will definitely be back!

The most positive feature of this restaurant is their extensive menu. Traditional favourites and modern additions offer a wide choice and ensures there is something to satisfy every taste. The least positive feature is that you order your meal when you enter and not at your table. The consequence of this is that there is a queue out the door giving the impression you are queuing for a table whereas you are actually waiting for others to order their food. This was our first visit and whilst the staff were lovely I don't think we will ever queue here again.

Qué gran noche, todo el mundo en el lugar era tan amable y solo fuera para pasar un buen rato. Disfrutamos del entretenimiento también.

Pot belly is great for a family meal. There is always a warm welcome. Something on the menu to suit all tastes including vegetarian menu. Good quality food and lovely staff

The bar lounge felt dated and there were many young adolescent drinking. To make matters worse the live singer was too loud and drowned out our dining. The food itself was undercooked and nothing special. On leaving we were greeted to a fight in the car park between two young men one who was clearly drunk. I could not recommend unless the management get proper professional staff and bouncers in there.

Service was good along with the coffee had some lovely cakes and the Carmel Shortbread was very tasty as well. Place was busy for late On in the day as well.

8 of us visited this weekend whilst on a mini break. We arrived at approx 3 pm and it was clear that the staff were more interested in clearing up / finishing for the day than they were in serving customers. The rear of the cafe was closed for cleaning however there were no other tables available that could accommodate us together. A member of staff ushered us to the front of the restaurant and told us there were enough seats there to sit on..(just not together) I would've left however didn't want to cause a scene especially since I had recommended it to the family who were with us. Eventually the staff conceded and allowed us to sit beyond the cleaning sign ! It was a very disappointing trip and the staff made it more than obvious that they were disgruntled with our being there taking up space. Very disappointed and are unlikely to return . I am writing this review in the hope that others are not treated the same way, a good business shouldn't be ruined by staff who don't encourage customers
