Friendly staff, lovely food. Scrambled eggs on toast,lovely. Even going in for a coffee is a pleasure. I would throughly recommend. Entrance to the cafe is through the Mall, which is worth a visit.

A nice small cafe serving excellent coffee/tea and a handsome scone. The tables are arranged in an open square room in a functional way so it couldn't be described as cosy. But it's a pleasant enough place with very friendly staff. A little off the beaten track for Whitley Bay centre, but if you're in the area, it's worth stopping off.

Called into The Chapel today for lunch, I had the salad - this is far and away the best salad I have ever eaten, and so so good for you - with spinach, beans, blueberries, seeds, beetroot, rice, carrots, peaches. Absolutely delicious thank you The Chapel. :-D

We called into Hot Cocoa following a recommendation and I am very glad that we did! The hot chocolate is divide. I went for the 33% milk chocolate and it was delicious, the kids also enjoyed their drinks and they have a great selection of cakes and chocolates. Not your average hot chocolate, is a real treat and definitely worth a visit!

Like a second home from home. Great atmosphere and very friendly. A daily routine that is a must. Never change!! It’s a winner!!

By far the best coffee in Sawbridgeworth! Had a delicious Pastel de Nata. Lovely cafe with cosy indoor seating and a nice terrace in warmer weather.

A great end to the night with my partner. The small plates and boards were absolutely delicious and just the right size for us both. We were checked in on and looked after incredibly well. My partner Ryan asked for recommendations based on the type of wine he enjoyed and was given three options that he loved. The general vibe was very cosy and relaxed and we were offered the chance to move from the high tables to the sofa area once any were free, although we were very happy where we were!

El delicatessen se ha convertido en mi must go to first pit stop cada vez que salgo en bicicleta en mi ciclo de mano. La comida es excelente, y siempre disfruto de los rollos de salchichas. Sin embargo, eso no es todo lo que he comido. Todo lo que he probado ha sido súper sabroso. El personal también es fantástico siempre salen a servir ya que no puedo montar en mi ciclo de mano que son tan amables todas las personas encantadoras. He tenido el placer de probar tanto el café como el chocolate caliente, y ambos son fantásticos! El chocolate caliente se ha convertido rápidamente en mi favorito: rico, suave y absolutamente indulgente. Me encuentro regalando bolsas a amigos y familiares porque es demasiado bueno para no compartir. ¡Productos verdaderamente excepcionales que traen alegría con cada taza!

I visited here on a quiet Sunday morning and was delighted by the quality of the breakfast. Nestled as it is amongst a parade of arts & crafts and antiques shops, this cafe is very conveniently located not too far off the beaten track and there is plenty of parking. We sat out front in a cosy little covered verandah, which is perfect on a sunny day. Service is friendly and efficient, and the ambience is very relaxed and informal. We all opted for the medium breakfast (2 bacon, 1 egg, 1 sausage), feeling that the large breakfast (2 bacon, 2 eggs, 2 sausages) was perhaps too much. The 'extra-large' breakfast (3 bacon, 3 eggs, 3 sausages) even more so. Still, it was nice to have the choice. The breakfast itself was pretty quick to arrive and comes with toast and butter. The only negative is that the egg was poached. That would not have been my preference, and I wasn't given the choice, but that is a minor niggle. Overall, a delightful little place serving a decent breakfast in very pleasant surroundings. What's not to like?

Great little florist Tea room in Chadderton. I have used this florist over a couple of years as recommendations from the girls i worked with. I have introduced my sons and hubby to this florist and is now there go to for Valentine flowers etc. i have just received a lovely boxed bouquet for mother’s day. Neutral flowers just how i like them. While waiting i have had a coffee and toastie very good snd reasonably priced
