Popped into this branch before Treason at Sheffield Lyceum. Was very busy on first attempt, so came back. 3 staff on duty, too busy talking amongst themselves to get our order correct. There was no offer of a plate for a cold sandwich & then our Americanos were "forgotten". Watched a member of staff clean the rim of a mug with a napkin that had not been cleaned properly by the dishwasher instead of returning it to the dishwasher. When our coffee was finally done, it came with no milk, which I then had to ask for. There were also uncleaned tables & plates left by the public where coffee was collected presumably because staff had not cleaned tables quickly enough. Whoever manages this branch seriously need to look at customer service because it was non-existent. Dare I say they need to implement the kind of training that other coffee shops have?

What a great little place! My friend and I both had panini's which were delicious - full of filling (crispy bacon, brie and cranberry) on artisan bread. Even the obligatory side salad was a bit different with quinoa and a nice dressing. Good selection of hot and cold drinks and wish we'd have had room for cake. Quick service and pleasant staff. Will definitely come back.

Had lunch here when visiting castle howard for the first time on the 5th August. I had the tomato soup, my husband had a duck wrap. The soup was terrible. Tasted like watered down chopped tomatoes. Bland, thin and slightly metallic tasting. Not worth £7.50. Wrap was ok, but prepreapred and starting to go soggy. This cafe needs to seriously up its game to keep up with the prestige of the surroundings. When you've already paid so much for tickets you expect a nice lunch!

We ordered through Uber eats. The food came hot and we enjoyed all items we ordered. The food looks like the pictures presented on Uber eats. Only downside was that the homemade tartare sauce didn't come with the fish despite it stating it would. Would order here again.

Horrendous! I’m quite obviously heavily pregnant and was refused when I asked to use the toilet! I appreciate you want paying customers but surely there’s got to be an exception?

Now renamed Sonnys Best cafe in town. Not ‘sophisticated’ but good old fashioned cafe. Great choice of food from bacon and egg bap, full English to baguettes, paninis, delicious soups and stews and salads. It really is to draw and way better than the Kawa House next door (a bit pretentious). Go! You won’t go wrong.

Booked a table for a family of 8 to our surprise found it quite empty only a few people in having food.We ordered 6 Sunday lunches which cost £15.50 each and waited a good hour before it was served to us .We all had the beef and wen it came I was surprised the amount of beef on the plate it was covered over with Yorkshire pudding which was burnt parsnips and carrots done to a crisp and wen I went to try the beef found it was cooked very rare pink in colour which put me off straight away I then moved the beef to one side as I could not eat it and found my plate was swimming in blood I could have been sick.None of us ate the beef everyone had left it as it put us off not been cooked .When approaching the staff to tell them we got no satisfaction whatsoever said that's the way our chef cooks the beef all they said was il let the chef no nobody came out to look at our plates they couldn't get them took away fast enough.Staff very unprofessional .will not be going back there again now we no why it was empty I have put a picture on of my meal will definitely be AVOIDING this pub😡😡

I usually drive up to catterick for fish and chips. Thought I’d try the moree local halls, now currently on my way to catterick after binning the quite frankly worst fish and chips I’ve ever been given. Shockingly small portion for a start. Overcooked obviously frozen poor quality haddocks . Barely battered sausage. All somehow soggy immediately after cooking for too long. And some sort of grey slop that smelled foul, which I assume was in place of the ordered mushy peas. Quite frankly poor effort from a miserable couple of staff stood moping around.
