This restaurant is so underrated. I have ordered twice now and both times the food was fresh and delicious. I recommend the generous dips and bruschetta, both the tomato and mushroom one. I will definitely order again

food was lovely, we ordered 1/2 chicken meal, but we didn't receive any salad or chips as stated. homemade chips were over cooked but luckily we like them well done. we will order again but will make sure we get all the items next time.

Very disappointed with the difference in the menu options on the website versus just eat. Will never use just eat to order from here ever again. Ordered chicken a'le creama that usually comes with a choice of side dish but the options were not on just eat.

Gone very down hill. Took 1:30 hours to arrive, sent the wrong sauce. Chicken was dry and burnt. Won’t be ordering again.

Ordered 2 lasagne’s and a cheesy garlic bread at 5.30pm. They said it will be around 45 minutes. Arrived early at 6pm, best lasagne we’ve had in a long time. Still piping hot and absolutely delicious. Cheesy garlic bread also lovely. Delivered by a great friendly driver. Highly recommend x

Usually order from Woodkirk, the food Is always late and the young girl on the phone Is always pretty rude. Ordered from Horbury tonight, still over 30 minutes late, again rude service and the food was cold and soggy. Last time ordering from capri 😩

Absolutely diabolical! We ordered our 2 pizzas at 6:50 to be told it would be here at 7:10, it still hasn’t arrived at 8:45 we called to be told we didn’t order it at the time we did and to get a refund we will have to send the food back (not an issue as it hasn’t arrived) to get a refund. Don’t order from here

Placed our order at 18.57, after 2 hours of waiting, I rang Capri@Horbury to enquire and was told that the order was on its way, at 21.31, still no delivery! Eventually Capri at Horbury rang us informing us that they had forgotten to put our delivery on the van and they would make us another order and deliver! By this time it was far too late and we had got passed eating! Shocking experience! Will not be ordering from here again!

Amazing food! Outstanding customer service experience, they always go above and beyond. Morover, food delivered is as good as in the restaurant.

I was extremely shocked to see the very poor quality of the takeaway bearing in mind how amazing Capri usually is when you dine in. I wish I had read these reviews first! As you can see the Pizza arrived with all of the toppings and cheese, completely off the pizza because it has been held sidewards during delivery. The burger wasn’t Gastro or restaurant quality, it was just like a normal takeaway or McDonalds.

Me and my other half havent ordered anything from capri home dining in horbury for a few years. We each had a lamb kebab. One portion of Fries and a garlic bread with blue cheese and chillies. What a let down! Fries soggy and cold and the box full of condensation. Lamb was tough and tasteless and overcooked. The bread it was wrapped in couldve been lovely but it was so soggy it fell apart when you picked it up. The blue cheese garlic bread had the merest hint of blue cheese on it - this used to be delish - but not anymore. But the worst thing of all was probably in the smallest of details, and that lay in the minted yoghurt sauce we each ordered with our kebab. It was like somebody had squeezed a tube of colgate into some watery yoghurt. It was truly awful. 🤢🤢🤢 We will never ever order anything from here again. I cannot speak for the restaurant side of things because we've not been in for a long time, but the home dining experience was shoddy. Wish we'd have saved our well earned brass and had beans on toast!

Don't order home dining from Capri. Food takes much longer than they tell you and they aren't helpful in sorting your order

Only a matter of time before this place goes out of business. Delivery time is always at least twice as long as they tell you, usually at least 1.5 to 2 hours. Pizza was as chewy as the box it came in, caprese salad was inedible (see photo). Everything we ordered was cold. Total waste of money.

I have been a customer at capri for many many years. I supported the restaurant, cafe and the home dining. I ordered the same order regularly then all of a sudden there was a problem in simply asking for a base a little thicker . I will not be returning to Capri’s again. It’s saddening that their level of customer service for a loyal customer has resulted in such poor customer service . It’s saddening that the people such as myself that have loyalty and have supported them to get to where they are treated like this. Whatever happened to the service that Paymen, Dom and Nat gave. Instead I’m sometimes lucky I can order a pizza without problems and other times not so lucky! ….. it’s not the cheapest place but I didn’t mind as it’s local and I like supporting local. I will not return, it’s a real shame! You shouldn’t treat people like this Capri Home Dining it’s not good business sense. Paymen got his base by connecting with locals and not alienating them !

I have been going to the capri for years i feel so sad that im writing rhis review. Last night i ordered a steak well done . I asked for fries and mushrooms. It was home dining. When it arrived i was absolutely mortified. The steak was so smàll i couldn't believe it. Honestly i can't express how disgusted and let down i felt . No mushrooms or any sauce what so ever. I had to make a salad because there was nothing on my plate hardly but fries. Horbury home dining you have sold yourselves out. You used to be my favourite .i certainly want be ordering again

After a long day working in the garden, and having eaten at the restaurant, I decided to order for the first time from this service, by way of a thank you to my son and his family for all their efforts. Sadly, the positive restaurant experience was not transferred to the takeaway food received, with most ending in the bin! We ordered a mixed kebab (meat was dry and lettuce had gone particularly soggy and slimy), meatfeast pizza was like cardboard, almost like it had been microwaved to the point of hardness, as was the garlic bread with cheese (more cheese would have been appreciated). I phoned Capri immediately after we'd given up trying with the food and was promised a call back by a manager, as had explained that it was the first time I'd ordered and we were bitterly disappointed. The call back never transpired!! At £45 it wasn't cheap. I won't be ordering again. Poor food and terrible customer service!

Got a take out last night from this place and it was bang average for the money. Ordered the meatballs starter which was bland no flavour at all. Got the calzone capri for my main and again very bland the asparagus was watery and tuff. Also got the beef stroganoff which wasn’t great beef was chewy and my son was sick later that night. So all in all very dissatisfied and won’t be using again.

Just got lasagne, gone up from £7 to £9.35 That over 25%, portion been cut, Carlic mushrooms gone up nearly 20% .what paying for alterations on takeaway food.

Food luke warm on arrival. Bruschetta was soggy and inedible, chicken gyros also soggy. Very disappointing overall for amount of money spent.

Ordered a take away, Capri mixed grill as a starter and chicken gyros with salad and skinny fries. The mixed grill starter was made up from a tiny piece of steak (tough as old boots) a piece of burger meat, 2 tiny pieces of chicken and 1 slice of bacon. The main course, chicken gyros consisted of 9 chips (wrapped in the wrap ) The chips were soggy as was the wrap, the salad was 1 piece of pepper and some cucumber. All meals were stone cold and over 45 minutes late. Not impressed with the food or the delivery. Stay clear there’s better ways to spend your money. Very disappointed

Ordered a takeaway for their stated time which came bang on time. Very polite gentleman delivered the food,all compact.The food was very tasty and hot enough. Would definitely order delivery again.

Poor... won't order again. First time and last time... Poor quality food, grilled lamb was just burned on a griddle, didn't taste like anything but charred oil. Garlic bread pizza was that cold when it arrived it shattered quite literally, totally inedible, they got our order wrong... when it eventually arrived. Live 2.8 mile away but they charge an extra 2 miles for over three mile delivery? Cheap place for low budget people.. get what you pay for, think we'll stick to classy dining not places like this.

Standards have dropped unfortunately. Very average food for the price of it. Carbonara was very oily and completely tasteless. Nothing like a traditional Italian carbonara. Pizza was OK. Very slow delivery. Won’t be rushing to order again. Zucchini’s restaurant in Batley now delivering which is much nicer and better value.

Friday night, a treat, order out. Lamb kebab!! Shoe leather. Salad? Soggy lettuce three strands of onion and a bit of tomato. All wrapped in a soggy pitta bread in foil. Fries??? Cooked to death. All in the bin. Better cooking as usual myself. So disappointed. Not what I expected from a national chain.

Haven't ordered in a long time as last time I did my calzone was cold and soggy and they'd not taken out the pepperoni as requested. So glad I gave it another go. Staff on the phone efficient and polite, delivery was quick, driver was very friendly and smiley, my Calzone was nice and hot and so was the sauce! Tasted delicious, loads of filling, and they got my order correct. Really enjoyed it.

Capri.... Probably the best kebab in the world

Very disappointed with our takeaway offering from here. We had three beef strogonoff meals which had less than two ounces of meat between all three! Mushrooms were few and far between as well. Meal was all pasta and little sance to cover it all. Also had a meatball dish that came with just four meatballs! Hardly good value is it? Wo t be getting another.

The worst burger and kebab, over cooked, cold and chips even worst. Stick with the pasta dishes which were excellent. Can’t wait to visit when the restaurant is open again which has always been very good. Rob.

Expensive basic food definitely not restaurant quality as advertised, burgers were burnt meatballs were very dry ribs were full of fat and the pizzas were tasteless ,we didn't even get our free bottle of wine as informed when the order was placed. First and last time unfortunately

First time I have ordered from hear will definitely be ordering again absolutely fantastic grate with food grate with price and grate with time all round extremely impressed friendly customer service

We have used the home dining a few times but have noticed that the quality and quantity has gone down hill the longer they have been open. Ordered my usual lamb kebab and compared to when the restaurant first opened the meat inside the wrap is now meagre and tough.....definynot worth the money. A shame really as I recommended this to a lot of friends because when it first opened I was very impressed. Obviously it was just a tactic to entice new customers! Now seems overpriced for what you get.

One star, only because we were given a full refund of our money back. After waiting 2 n quarter hours we received food equivalent of a motorway and less standard. Not of Capri's standard at all. Wouldn't recommend this service. So disappointing

Just had a beautiful fillet steak via home dining.

First Home Dining experience. Wonderful food due ro Corona Lockdown. We thoroughly enjoyed the meal we ordered very tasty, will definately do this again.

The last time we had company we ordered dinner orders all wrong and took forever to come. Gave them the benefit of doubt only for it to happen again even though we collected then tonight actually had to wait until the shoo for 1 hour 15 minutes. Won't be using again.

Well valentines day we decided to stay home and treat ourselves to capri at home. What can I say the delivery was due to be 1 hour ..... 1hr 30 minutes later the driver turned up with no apologies just cold food. Once I warmed up the starters in the microwave it dawned on me that the mains were incorrect. We had 2 of the same mains that my partner couldn't eat because hes allergic to mushrooms. I called the restaurant only to be offered a 10% discount on my next order ...what good is £3 off ...it will not even pay for the meal we did not get.have to say very disappointing
