The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in York Yorkshire and The Humber

Oh wow! This place hits the spot in so so many ways! The service is brilliant (all the staff are super friendly, attentive and efficient) and the food is great. You might have to queue to get a table (we didn’t as we arrived fairly early) but the wait is well worth it. I had the avocado on sourdough bread (topped mine with two poached eggs) and it was fabulous-the kids had pancake stacks….light and fluffy with the best ever berries, and the son and his OH had the eggs Royale which they usually have. Luckily we visit often from Whitby and I think this will be a regular thing. Can’t wait to try an evening session…… I have to say I’m glad to have found somewhere in York that does great food at reasonable prices as we have ditched Betty’s for good (overpriced and mediocre) and Robinson’s will be our “go to” place from now on.

Staff were very friendly, efficient and considerate. Service was fast. Food tasted amazing and was hot.

Solo tomé una taza de té, pero sin duda me sentí tentado por los hermosos pasteles y salazones que se exhiben. Servicio amable y eficiente y decoración encantadora con mesas de madera. Sin duda volveré de nuevo en algún momento en el futuro cercano para probar la comida de aspecto encantador

La más amable de las bienvenidas para las personas y los perros, con café y bollería bellamente hechos consistentemente. El ambiente es acogedor y relajado y es un hermoso lugar para tomar café, ya sea que se siente a ver el mundo pasar o tomar una comida para llevar en el camino. Recomiendo encarecidamente el café con leche de avena, mi marido delira con los cruasanes de almendra. Nos encanta que no necesite reservar una mesa y walk ins son bienvenidos. Es un paraíso para paseantes y corredores de perros y un lugar popular en el barrio debido al café seriamente bueno, el ambiente encantador y es el lugar perfecto para el brunch comunitario. Amor hay música en vivo y los temas y decoraciones de Halloween y Navidad siempre son divertidos🙂

Waited a couple of years for the queue to not be so big, we struck lucky and managed to get a seat without too much of a wait, I'm so glad we Waited. Service was spot on, pleasant and speedy, the ambience of upstairs makes it feel so special, the cakes were amazing and we will definitely call again. There is a ongoing dispute over the sign of the tea shop, which is perfectly in keeping with the shop and the City, however some man I'd love to say gentlemen but I don't think he is, has taken a view that it might cause them to write more on the wall, is the general gist, however as they work so hard as well as not having the inclination to do this, they haven't the the time. So Gordon I hope you're ashamed, but I doubt it. The Old York Tea Room, I wish you all the luck in the world, and should you need a nice neon sign, let me know. Low prizes, a tasty and wide variety of chocolate (flavours, drinks, sweets). The staff is very polite and kind. Definitely five stars! 🥰

Fui a ver a mi mamá para tomar un café y el caballero detrás del mostrador habló con nosotros y tener un poco de charla. Tenía un nervio atrapado y me ofreció un paracetamol para ayudar con el dolor y como siempre el café es fantástico. Siempre un gran lugar para visitar.

Excellent cafe, went with family, had stacked pancakes with maple syrup, blueberries, and bacon. Fantastic. Going again next week will have the same.

Llamé esta mañana ya que nos habíamos perdido el desayuno y teníamos hambre. El servicio fue excelente todas las chicas eran muy agradables y fr . La comida era perfecta y caliente. Incluso nos llevamos un bollo a casa con nosotros. Sin duda lo recomendaría

Lovely tearoom with lots of lovely items on menu. Coffee was fab really strong and proper coffee. Presentation all very nice Staff really efficient and friendly Will definitely return

We came across this lovely cafe. We were greeted with a warm welcome and a great mug of tea, much to my husband’s delight. You can not beat a mug. Teapots are available. Drinks and snacks were delicious and service friendly. We will be back when we are next visiting York x

Absolutely spot on, £5.50 for a breakfast with a mug of tea or coffee and you can double up for £1... Best value breakfast around and all quality ingredients.

Vivir bastante cerca y estaba en mi camino a casa de una cita dental - no había notado mucho este lugar anteriormente, pero vino a comer. Resultó ser una delicia absoluta - delicioso panini a un precio razonable para York. Parece un gran café y pastel también. Volveré.

Wow! Sunnys proporcionó platos para mi desayuno de boda y fueron fantásticos! Se veía increíble y la calidad de todos los artículos eran realmente excelente! Todos mis invitados disfrutaron y estaban muy llenos después de que incluso los mayores comedores tenían mucho para comer. John fue tan servicial en responder a cualquiera de mis implacables preguntas que fue puntual y creó exactamente lo que pedí! Realmente estábamos muy agradecidos!
