Dear all, Might be long here and it will worth your time. I’m please you are reading my review which is needed to know before you make your decision to visit. I am saying everything in my honest directly from my heart to Hidden. Over months I have driven passing this site in my Lorry and seeing something fancy inside I wonder what would it be. My mind keeps telling myself that I MUST visit as soon as possible. Yesterday I put my money where my mouth is, eventually, I went to Hidden Cafe after touring in Coal Mine Museum nearby as a solo person like a Lone Wolf. In that night of being as customer. Environment inside is so beautiful making my mind going to Shangri La. Whether it is an cafe or an mini restaurant or an bar or all of them! Doesn’t really matter because this urban place is an low key place in all set reasons of visiting. Even pop in for a ten minute drink with your friend. I had an well cooked golden pizza with three buns of garlic bread and an posh red wine in addition to my meal. An ace to the young marvellous chef called Milly. Both of the waitress are lovely and welcoming. Sharing stories and our conversations went up to joy and equally. Just like playing tennis. We speak a few lines and wait for the reply or respond instead of holding the ball for too long. We talked all sort of topics. Music, career, families, prologue, hobbies, future and more. Taking yard by yard. Life goes on. Another to mention, their music in the background is smooth, correct volume and matching to the room of relaxing. Somebody could say, ‘To the stars’. If you want to know more about Hidden. Please use yourself or bring a friend and visit to this wonderful Hidden for your own experience and straight answers. Hidden is an Ace place to enjoy yourself whenever you wish to go. Thank you, Spencer Wolf

Friends look forward to visiting me as i always take them to Connie's, and often call for breakfast, passing three other cafes on the way

Absolute disaster! Never been treated worse at a restaurant. My family have been going to the Capri restaurants for over 30 years. Loyalty seems to no longer exist. Table booked for 630pm.. crowds of people queing into the bar given priority just to move them through. Either that or the booking system failed miserably. For some reason you can no longer ask for drinks to be added to the bill maybe because they know you will leave without getting at table. Spoke with manager and 3 employees for our table to no gain. Left at 730pm without being seated. Shout out Dominos Wakefield who delivered the goods to our door. Really hate leaving a bad review but what can you do, Very poor. Won't be doing that again on a Saturday night.

I can't describe how atrocious this visit was. Let's put it in context, it's a visit to a coffee shop so not worth worrying about. Staff... Rude and unhelpful. Too busy talking to each other to take to the customers. I returned the empty cups, the guy simply shrugged at me. Cleanliness etc was fine but paying £7.80 for 2 black americano is truly disgraceful.
