The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in Burnham Central Sedgemoor South West

Discovered the Galley on TripAdvisor before our spontaneous daytrip to Burnham on Sea. Lovely place with a friendly greeting. We sat down & ordered just before 2pm not realising that they shut at 2pm. We made our apologies & the staff were lovely & told us not to rush. The food was lovely & great value for money. My husband had the full English & stated that it was the best he'd ever had. Highly recommended & we will be back if visiting Burnham on Sea.

Don’t expect the online shop to deliver! They must have Ga, Ga, Ga, Granville on his pushbike making the deliveries. They are a joke!! Would not deliver over £20 shopping just over the Severn Bridge to South Wales even though I offered to pay the extra postage. But don’t worry try Waring’s Bakery Reading as they deliver to Wales and also Food For Thought in Northamptonshire delivers to Wales. Not Winnie’s though, the end of the street and just down the one cul de sac is the delivery limitation. But they have an online store??? SHUT IT DOWN! NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE!

We've been here many times with our 2 sons, my mother and her Yorkshire Terrier. Always a warm welcome, nice and relaxed and a great choice of food for everyones tastes. The cook even let my sons watch him preparing the food through a hatch at the back of the cafe. Nothing too much trouble.

Lovely cage. Friendly staff. Large portions at fair prices. Lots of competition, and they're doing well against it. Generous portions for ploughman's

Came here with my son for a meal two days ago. As walked In I picked up the sauce and other stuff for the table to be greated what seemed to be the manger with appalling attitude. ( Telling me put them back there for outside tables with proper appalling tone) I let that slide, then I went bar and ordered food, Chicken tikka curry which asked please can we do half rice half chips bearing in mind had no issue doing this in past. Scampi also Only to be shouted at by manger again No you can’t Only comes with rice or chips This point i was ready to tell the guy in not so many words where he can shove his rice but my son was hungry. Food arrived pretty quick The chicken tikka if wanna call that ( more like water) was foul Chips foul also I won’t be eating in this place again Appalling

Popped in for breakfast, we assembled our own from the 'extras' board. Delicious. The bacon was perfect and the bubble and squeak was a meal on its own (and delicious). They close at 2pm and for those reviews complaining about the owner/male server; give the guy a break; he told us he's deaf!

Baked potato was good but the fish and chips were poor They were frozen fillets and chips seemed frozen as well There is a fish monger almost opposite which I visited and was full of fish so not sure why you would use frozen.

In early today(Sunday 4th May) for a coffee which was lovely.. Paula who made it for me didnt know me personally but for some reason she put a heart on my coffee and said it was made with love! Little did she know I have had a very recent upset in our family.. Thank you xx

I have never written a complaint about food and normally I would just leave it. But this time I’d have enough. From start to finish the service was awful, the order took an hour to get 5 minutes down the road, when the food came it was freezing cold. Also items were missing, when questioned about this we were told it was “meant to be cold” after being cooked which clearly makes no sense as every single other subway I’ve had has not been like this, and when asked about the missing items they first said they would drop it down to us then after an hour said it they would not do it and accused us of lying. And also just said to go to uber eats and rudely dismissed us. Very concerning how these people are handling food when they cannot even handle an order. Disgusting.
