Best food I've had in a while 🤤🤤🤤🤤. I ordered the pizza it was amazing...... Loved the smell of the beach. Dead cheap as well. I making all of these ratings today because I've got this scrap book from places I've been in 10 years. And I've decided to put them all on Google.

Have been here for food before but it has a greater variety of food rather than just pub food when we last visited a few years ago . They were using up their food as it was nearing their winter opening times but still a good choice of food. Didn’t need to book as went when food service started. Locals and people working on the island also came later so it made it feel cosy . Very helpful & friendly staff & good food

On a day trip to St. Martin's we were looking for a place to have lunch and stumbled upon The Island Bakery. We were very happy we did. Everyone is very friendly and the food is outstanding. All the baked goods are first rate. I had never eaten a "frazzle" before, but thoroughly enjoyed it. I highly recommend it.

We stopped here for a snack whilst waiting for a boat back to St Mary's. We both opted for starters as we weren't hungry enough for a main meal. Both were just the right size and delicious. The service was excellent. Judging by the number of customers there this is a popular venue.

We visited three times over our fortnight holiday and on each occasion the welcome we received made us feel valued. During the visits we ate once-delicious, enjoyed the open mic night and on the last visit simply had a couple of drinks at the bar. Great atmosphere and a fabulous pub to visit.

It’s important to say that the food is good quality, but it’s not cheap and the menu is limited for an establishment of this stature. When we dined, there were 3 fish dishes (2 with shellfish which alienates those who don’t eat it), 1 meat dish which was a ribeye steak (very strange choice for an inclusive menu) and a vegetarian pasta dish. I don’t remember anything else. There was no poultry or red meat cuts that would appeal to more delicate appetites. We were booked to dine in the hotel on 3 nights, but after our first meal, we cancelled the other 2 bookings and ate elsewhere, simply because we couldn’t actually find anything on the menu we wanted to eat. When we last stayed, the menu was much more accessible for all….with gourmet, bistro and gastro pub options. It feels like there’s a mismatch between what guests want to eat and what the hotel wants to serve. Even some Karma members agreed with this. Apparently last year, guests said there was not enough fish…but this year, there seems to be too much. There needs to be more variety and balance.
