What a delightful little cafe. This is a family run cafe / shop and everyone was very welcoming. We arrived on our bicycles and the owner created a spot outside to leave them. Both of our baguettes were very tasty and plentiful. If you want a lovely sandwich for lunch and a nice cup of coffee this is the place to visit. They have plenty of seats inside and a few in the back garden. The perfect spot for a relaxing lunch.

En realidad no estoy de acuerdo con las críticas anteriores - esta es una 'habitación' extremadamente pequeña con unas cuantas mesas y sillas y tan pronto como entré - el olor a comida cocinada / cocinado me golpeó. Pasé por aquí debido a las críticas, pero no estaba muy impresionado.

Kimel’s a short walk away and we drop in for a cuppa and cake from time to time. Always good quality and a nice space to sit outside. I had a cheese and ham toastie last week and it was the best toastie I had for ages

Positives first, the ambience is nice and the staff were excellent. The menu is extensive which always makes me suspicious that the food maybe not all made from scratch. We ordered a selection of starters and this increased my suspicions - they were all deep fried and did not taste home made. The gyoza had a taste like they had come out of the freezer, the same with the bao buns. When the main courses came, most of them were served on trays. What is wrong with plates?! The smoked brisket tasted delicious but the chips, again, tasted like bought-in, not home made. If you like burgers, this is a great venue. But if you are a little bit more discerning this is not the place for you. That being said, Wokingham is largely a culinary dead hole, so this is better than most.

Amazing every time! Been here multiple times and never disappoints! Staff are extremely attentive and make the pub feel comfortable and welcoming! Food is lovely as well as relatively good pricing. I will be continuing to keep coming back here. :)

El camarero principal era bueno, pero el otro tipo era terrible. Salió a secar una mesa y sillas con un paño en forma de j, en lugar de una toalla y tuve que pedirle que saliera una segunda vez para secarla correctamente. Él no le preguntó a la persona que hizo el café para él de qué tipo era y simplemente lo dejó en la mesa sin decir nada. La comida tardó una hora en servirse. Comí el brunch rústico, los huevos sabían a goma, los frijoles sabían raro, las salchichas estaban bien, pero eran pequeñas, el tocino estaba bien y las patatas fritas estaban humeantes después de dejarlas cocinar. No voy a desperdiciar 12 libras aquí de nuevo.

Lovely village pub. Stayed here while on a cycle trip from London. Highly recommend! Comfortable room, great food and very friendly and helpful staff. I had to leave my bike outside for a few hours and when I returned to it, I found that they had protected the seat from the rain with a plastic bag and cloth - without me even asking them to!

Went there on the 26/6/24 lunch/evening to celebrate the team’s winning a match.Got picked by a friend and travelled to Houston for another coaching Job.Food was very great, staff friendly and environment lovely and neat.Got back last week to receive a letter from Debt recovery.com for failure of payment of Parking notice by ANPR.Searched my mails received no such mails.Tried explaining and was told if I do not pay £170, I will be charged to court.What a nightmare of being accused because you eat in a Pub.Will never go there again. Horrible experience and have told the team is no place for Xmas get together. Will rather go to ship inn with lots of parking and no harassment. A No for me next time

Organised 30th birthday celebrations. Excellent venue, food & staff. Nothing too much trouble. Help and support was amazing. Would thoroughly recommend using this venue again. Bob was exceptional in helping with the organisation and helping us to clear everything at the end of the night. Thank you to all the staff.

Lovely cafe for catching up with friends. Always speedy and friendly service, even when it gets busy staff are doing their best. Cakes are homemade are great-know what’s in them, even have made extra special when I went on my birthday once with chocolate sauce handwriting! Good prices too 😊. Also great smoothies! And staff are brilliant at clearing down so cafe always clean.

Young lady who served us was amazing. Despite being busy she communicated so well. Fair play. Knew the product and had great knowledge. Whatever she is paid it should be more

Really lovely pub! The food was delicious and the environment was very cool. Friendly staff and good company :) Seriously some of the best chips I've had in ages.

Great little cafe at really good prices. They also do comedy nights and are available for private hire.
