We visited today as a family of three. My little boy is a year old so we never know how he’s going to behave. We were greeted by a tall man with a beard (forgot to note his name). He was absolutely brilliant with our little boy, making him laugh all evening. We didn’t tip because we didn’t have any cash and you never know who the money goes to when you tip by card, but if we’d had cash on us we would’ve tipped him because he was great! The food was great - only £5 for our little boy’s meal, and he loved it! My only suggestion is that a drink should be included with the children’s meal if you’re calling it a ‘meal deal’.

Had a fabulous brekkie at Cobbs today. 10 of us were celebrating my father in laws 80th Birthday, we were made to feel very welcome especially by Hill's our waitress who went above and beyond even producing a slice of birthday cake with a candle. The food and drinks arrived promptly and were very tasty with quality ingredients. Thanks again Hill's 😊

Extremely friendly, we received a very warm welcome. Parking was free for our motorhome, and the food was excellent. The best fish and chips ever, and at a good price. Note the cutlery in proportion to the fish. There are many draft beers to try. We were completely satisfied, and the prices are right!

We booked the Regency park to meet up with another couple. The price was very reasonable, we upgraded to a superior junior suite. On arrival we found that there was a very large private car park. We were greeted and given our room. The room was on the second floor. The only lift was out of order. That said- the stairs were just two flights and shallow. Our room had a balcony, met and blackout curtains. Our bed was a king size, comfortable. We had a seating area, a desk, ample wardrobe space. We had a small fridge, hairdryer, iron and board, tea, coffee and a kettle with biscuits. Sadly the safe battery had run out, but I didn’t really need it. The on site restaurant was very comfortable, the service (Chloe) was excellent and the food was well prepared and very tasty. Chloe asked immediately about allergies and took note of our friend’s having a Lemon/ lime allergy. The dinner menu was a bit limited but it was ok. The bar was very well stocked and again well run. We slept extremely well the first night- very quiet and comfortable. The bathroom was very clean and well equipped. The over bath shower was a little old but worked extremely well. Breakfast was very good. There were a few juice options, good coffee, a nice cold/ pastries selection. The hot was under heat lights and self service. That said it was regularly replenished. The quality was high and cooking was good. A truly excellent breakfast. All in all this is a little gem. We did have a slightly less lively Saturday night as there were two functions on. The bar was extremely busy but staff kept calm and friendly and did their best. There were a number of children running round the hotel (including the bedroom corridors. More an issue for the parents who clearly didn’t care than the hotel. We are very glad that we chose the Regency park and would stay again. Big shout outs for most of the staff but special mentions for Chloe and Veronica.

Staff friendly but attention to detail not great. Order turned up, tea pot more than half empty. Portion of mushrooms was about 2 teaspoons full. Worst poached eggs ever, totally rock solid. Toast under cooked. Baked beans not hot. I don't expect Michelin standard food but I expect value for money and good quality. My advice is give The little cafe a BIG MISS.

Speen Community Cafe is the pop up on Wednesday's Love the vibe and the mixture of community members and visitors. Very enjoyable I sit at the craft table with Mo Hopkins I learn to focus and concentrate in a busy place this is difficult but very beneficial.

I have been a regular visitor to Costa since it opened in Pangbourne. It was once a decent place to go for a coffee and the staff were very welcoming. Unfortunately the place has been in rapid decline over the last few years and now feels like it's hit rock bottom with poor coffee served by generally inexperienced staff trying to do their best under the circumstances. The place feels very dirty and under invested - floors and tables are unclean, broken light fixtures and toilet seats add to the general feeling of deterioration and 'wear and tear'. The quality of the coffee is also very hit and miss and very much depends on who serves you. The franchice owner really needs to take note - Pangbourne is a close community and I know my feedback reflects the many and not the few.
