Outstanding service Jack in particular was fantastic very friendly and helpful with trying new things. I was able to book a table with no issues and felt very welcome. Food was fantastic!

Stopped by for drinks with family during our visit to Oxford. Highly recommend, great little pub with a lovely atmosphere. Micky, the landlord, provided great service and contributes to this welcoming atmosphere. The pub has a big tv for sport and a variety of board/card games!

I've been coming here for years but never written a review, however after last night's outstanding service I felt inclined to. We came for pre-comedy gig shots, and post-comedy gig drinks. In true bartender fashion (something you don't get in big chains) the wonderful chap behind the bar (I'm sorry I don't remember his name, but I remember he liked rum!) did birthday shots with us and made us the most delicious tequila based cocktails. The vibe was excellent, the service was outstanding, the drinks were delicious. Highly, highly reccomend

Seguí el consejo del barman que sugirió. Dragon Wolf, del que nunca había oído hablar. Estaba nublado y sabía miserable. Me retracté y expliqué que no estaba a la altura. El bar explicó que estaba nublado. (Lo que me pareció un poco inusual para un amargo) Persistí por un tiempo, pero la cerveza me pareció desagradable. Al salir puse la mitad de la pinta de nuevo en el bate y dije que no estaba a la altura del estándar. En vez de disculparme el bar me dijo que no volviera. Dije que si alguien se queja de tu cerveza es la forma correcta de lidiar con ella. Después de eso se volvió un poco desagradable y me sentí amenazado y me fui abruptamente.

I go here for coffee on my way home from work, even though it takes longer to do so. This is because the staff are so warm and friendly, I always leave feeling happy. Excellent place, and lovely biscuits!

Great place to sit, if only one could. Takeaway only STILL after the pandemic. Time now to open properly.
