We have been staying in selsey for a few days and decided to have dinner at Waves. We couldn’t fault the service, cleanliness and friendliness of the staff. Our food was hot , on hot plates and very tasty. I would highly recommend this cafe for a great value meal. And my friend also said the chef was hot!!

Reviewed 1 week ago Brilliant Deli/cafe!! Absolutely superb food and service was fabulous!! The deli counter was filled with gorgeous products ranging from fresh meat, local pies and cheeses and to top it off the most amazing cakes you can imagine! The shop itself has a good range of high quality goods you can't find anywhere else and I can't wait to visit again it will be top of my list https://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/ShowUserReviews-g191264-d4086881-r973558733-Comestibles-Midhurst_West_Sussex_England.html#

Use this cafe quite often Generally good but in this occasion the staff’s attitude was lacking such a shame 😞😞 Not busy and she wasn’t interested

We have been here on and off for over 40 years through many changes in ownership and guises. It is a lovely building and it was good to see that the current management had a fire going in the magnificent bar fireplace. We came for lunch and had fantastic food which was exceptional value particularly compared with other establishments in the area. My bacon, lettuce and tomato ciabatta was lovely and a full meal with chips and the best side salad I have had with a pub meal for a long, long time. My husbands lambs liver was also delicious. We look forward to returning.

Ask for crispy chips... it's worth the extra wait. Always recognition and a cheery welcome. The fish is sea fresh and everything is as it should be.

Great asset for the village, as a local store, and very welcome break on a cycle as cafe stop. Always lovely fresh sandwiches, pies and flans and cakes, plus great coffee from the van beside.

During probably the worst train journey I have had in 20 years this little jewel of cafe presented itself to me, with the nicest friendliest staff you could ask for, spotlessly clean delicious baked goods and for unusually for a station a really fair price for those items. Well done ! it shows what can be done when you take pride in what you do.

Have popped in for coffee with my sister and our dogs. Decided to have a brunch breakfast, despite the place being busy we received really good service, and there was a nice atmosphere, the staff were calm and efficient. Wonderful top quality breakfast, we have decided we must come back for lunch sometime soon

We were sheltering from monsoon conditions and decided on a gentle pub crawl in Chichester. We found this little gem entirely by accident and it proved to be the highlight of the day. We were the only customers in, but that provided an opportunity for the estimable Bella to enlighten and educate us about craft beer. Two bottles of chocolate stout at £17 a bottle may seem a little extreme, but you only come this way once. Just excellent.
