How hard is it to do a sausage sandwich. Apparently, hard. . No butter on the bread and burnt sausages. The quality of the sausages is very poor. Stick with riviera.

We have been staying in selsey for a few days and decided to have dinner at Waves. We couldn’t fault the service, cleanliness and friendliness of the staff. Our food was hot , on hot plates and very tasty. I would highly recommend this cafe for a great value meal. And my friend also said the chef was hot!!

The deli counter was filled with gorgeous products ranging from fresh meat, local pies and cheeses and to top it off the most amazing cakes you can imagine! Tres de nosotros llamamos aquí dos veces el viernes 22 de noviembre. Nuestro primer descanso a media mañana fue solo para tomar el té / café. Las ollas de té que comimos costaron 2 libras: 50 y cada uno tenía al menos dos + tazas de cada olla. Un café blanco plano le costará 3 libras: 25 . Nuestra segunda visita fue para comida y más bebidas. Esta vez dos de nosotros comimos el sándwich de salchicha triple a £ 3 cada uno y uno tuvo el sándwich de tocino triple a £ 3. La comida es servida por algunas damas realmente encantadoras que son muy eficientes, amables y te hacen sentir como en casa. Es solo un lugar muy pequeño y se llena especialmente a la hora del almuerzo. Recomendamos encarecidamente una visita aquí y disfrutar de algo de comida y una bebida. Gracias señoritas.

Just had Sunday lunch there and it was superb. The young staff were attentive and very polite. I would highly recommend it and look forward to my next roast dinner there . Well done 🙏

Ask for crispy chips... it's worth the extra wait. Always recognition and a cheery welcome. The fish is sea fresh and everything is as it should be.

Great asset for the village, as a local store, and very welcome break on a cycle as cafe stop. Always lovely fresh sandwiches, pies and flans and cakes, plus great coffee from the van beside.

Have popped in for coffee with my sister and our dogs. Decided to have a brunch breakfast, despite the place being busy we received really good service, and there was a nice atmosphere, the staff were calm and efficient. Wonderful top quality breakfast, we have decided we must come back for lunch sometime soon

It's always a delight to eat their food! Had there October special halloumi avocado lemon oil salad and spiced lamb served in a flat bread 😋 with extra chilli's. Was amazing 👏

After so many meals allhave been fantastic. Sadly it's coming to an end our favourite food and bar are coming to an end. However brother and birthday sister had the most fantastic evening. We all wish you well from the matteys and Hendries enjoy 😉 have a rest. Keep in touch xx
