The Three Horseshoes in Chichester

This was the first visit for us and our visiting friends, and we were not disappointed - it will not be the last. I booked at short-ish notice by phone, with the very friendly Samantha, and we received a warm personal welcome on arrival. The whitebait starters were excellent, and the three Sunday Roasts we had were unanimously rated as superb, likewise the Wagyu burger - all were very well presented and the roast beef was perfection. The Rhubarb Eton Mess dessert was different - and delightful. The staff were all clearly working hard, but nevertheless were efficient, friendly and attentive. All in all, a 100% positive experience - thank you.

I had a chicken roast and my partner had a beef roast- it was the best roast we have had- we ordered the cauliflower cheese and it was amazing

Came in for a Sunday roast .. Wow truely amazing , the beef melted in my mouth . The potatoes veg complimented my meal .. I can’t say anymore .. one of the best roasts I’ve had

Today, we discovered a lovely old pub in a beautiful village with so much history where we enjoyed such a good lunch from excellent menus.

Can’t state how much we enjoyed our visit for lunch. The restaurant decor was tasteful and relaxing. The staff were polite and helpful and the meal was absolutely excellent. Wish we lived in the area so we could visit regularly.

What an amazing location in the middle of nowhere. Great food and service - we enjoyed the roast lunch. We were also treated to a great saxophonist playing amazing music so we stayed a lot longer than we would have normally done.

A fabulous traditional English menu with a modern twist, best lunch we've had in a long time, in tasteful suroundings and great service too. We've tried all local venues and highly rate The Three Shoes in all ways.

We have just spent a wonderful Sunday afternoon with friends at your Lovely dog friendly Pub, The food was delicious we had the roast beef and the Pies, good local beers, your young staff were very professional and friendly and when you think things could not get any better you had a brilliant Saxophonist playing in the garden. A truly memorable afternoon, well worth the trip over from Eastbourne, we will be back

A really good pub, super food, excellent service, lovely, smiley, friendly and helpful young staff. Two young hungry boys, so we asked for speedy starters and they came really quickly despite a busy Sunday service. Good value, delicious food and a really decent children's menu. Would recommend. We shall be back!

Lovely place and location. But apart from that, the experience was pretty disappointing. Staff seemed clueless about the menu and not very looking after us. The halloumi fries were simply tasteless. The chicken burger was just average and nothing else. And the meal was way overpriced. Looks like there’s a lot of work to be done.

Fantastic way to spend a Sunday. Lovely pub, friendly relaxed vibe with delicious food. The pub oozes charm, a cosy fire if it’s cold or a terrace if the sun is shining. We’ll definitely be back. Thanks!

Booked last minute on Easter Sunday for a roast. I had lamb rump and it was delicious and was a very generous portion. Service was great and would thoroughly recommend. Dog and family friendly with a regular following of locals too. What’s not to like?!

This is a nice place in a beautiful part of the country. The food was excellent and the service was attentive and friendly. Dog friendly. Everyone seemed to be having a great time.
