Kirdford Village Stores in Chichester

Great asset for the village, as a local store, and very welcome break on a cycle as cafe stop. Always lovely fresh sandwiches, pies and flans and cakes, plus great coffee from the van beside.

I was on on holiday nearby and needing some top up provisions. Got everything I needed - from local honey to delicious bread, and some plants as a bonus! But on Saturday there’s a fresh fish stall outside which is outstanding! I’ve been craving oysters since Covid began, and the fishmonger showed me how to open them (pliers!) and I ate 2 there and then. Happy Happy Joy Joy!

Always very helpful and friendly an asset to the community. They carry a wide range of items and you can get sandwiches and coffee too.

Over priced postage too post things shops been open a hour on a Sunday 1 loaf of bread no bacon or sausages not very good for the only shop in miles doesn’t do my electric top

Pleasant location with parking and both outside & inside seating where they have more coffee cup styles than Costa. Good supply of top up food stuffs too.

Very good local shop. Fresh foods, frozen, tinned everything one could need. Fresh bread teas and coffee. Proper village store. Good wine selection and friendly service.

Went for afternoon tea and snack after a walk along the Wey & Arun Canal. Really nice small store and tea room. Good selection of cakes etc plus sausage rolls, scotch eggs etc. Many home made. Limited seating inside but plenty outside and free parking outside. Very nice. Worth a visit.

My husband and I were looking for somewhere to have a coffee today. We were delighted to discover this gem of a place. A friendly welcome greeted us and we were soon sitting down having our drinks. What a choice of homemade cakes and pastries. We were impressed with the selection of delicious bread, scones etc., rather than the normal sliced bread. The other surprise was the Christmas shop displaying traditional items to buy. I love Turkish Delight, Orange and Lemon slices and real Cocolate Liqueurs! It was great to buy these special purchases and pop them away for Christmas. There was such a warm atmosphere in the shop. Great to meet people in the Cafe and enjoy something from the Menu. I wish we had a Village Shop like that! Fabulous.

My partner and I had a most scrumptious afternoon tea here today. It was one of the best we have ever had and highly recommend this lovely shop and cafe. The sandwiches were freshly made for us and there was a great selection of fillings that we could choose from and included was a delicious scone each with butter, clotted cream and jam plus a cake of our choice. The lady who served us was really friendly and helpful. All in all a great experience.

Wonderful staff including two young girls who actually know how to communicate with customers of all ages. Food first class and very reasonably priced considering how good it is. Thoroughly recommend

Found this village hub online. Thought would be nice drive out into the country for a light lunch. Lots of pastry available. Pies, sausage rolls, veggie quiche to eat in or takeaway. Coffees ordered a sandwich however no menu listing the fillings. The eat-in quiche was served warm but no garnish. Sandwich was full of salad. Lovely ham n fresh bread. Three tables inside and four or five outside.

Stopped here every day of our holiday for an afternoon ice cream!! Friendly, helpful staff, and lovely shop. Thanks

The cooked menu looks great - hot snacks to suit anyone, but there is also a great cold food counter full of choices - such as homemade sausage rolls, bacon and cheese rolls, a superb quiche. Pretty good coffee too.

A charming well stocked village store with fresh bread & vegetables, freezers stocked with all sorts of goodies, newspapers and a whole selection of groceries, welcoming helpful staff.

Lovely setting on the new village green, plenty of parking and the staff are very helpful and welcoming. We stopped as a group ride of 12 and were served with very little delay. Will certainly return.

Good little shop, and we love the cafe! We had the best bacon and egg sandwiches for breakfast yesterday, they were sooooo good! There's a young lad that works there and he is so lovely and polite! Credit to your team! :)

This little gem is the only shop in the village but does the most amazing coffee. Great to stop off on a cycle as the surrounding roads are nice and quiet. Go and support a local community shop!!

I have my lunch made at least three times a week since it opened. Usually a sandwich, which I take with me.

We stopped in for breakfast and were served with two excellent hot sandwiches by friendly staff members. So good that we went back again the next day for more! Would definitely recommend.

This stores and café are a lovely little oasis, on the newly formed village green in Kirdford. They do freshly made sandwiches, toasties, soup, cakes and pastries and local fresh produce, plus a nice selection of hot and cold drinks.
