The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in Windermere Bowness South South Lakeland North West

We had a great evening at Lago. Their meat and cheese charcuterie board was excellent with a great selection of produce. We loved their extensive drinks menu and I have to call out their excellent margaritas! A great spot!

I loved this colourful little café, but unfortunately I had to mark them down as I think something must have been burnt shortly before we arrived, and my eyes are so sensitive that within a few minutes my eyes were stinging and streaming. I had a fabulous hot chocolate, and my son really enjoyed his burger. I would have liked to have stayed longer but my eyes were so sore (and it was too cold to sit outside) that I just wanted to leave. Staff were fantastic, and I feel terrible that I couldn’t give them the 5 stars that they deserve.

I go there in my first time trip in last week. I spend 2 hours and take some beer with my partner. We really enjoy the time. I'll come here again.

What a gem!! Me & my partner grabbed 2 turkey bacon sub rolls from here for lunch, they were £4.50 each and they were awesome! You never get value for money like that these days, it was fresh, warm and massive, a 10/10 sandwich. Even better after a big walk in the fells. Will return often i’m sure! Friendly warm service too. Super easy to get to. Cafe opposite also. I went during torrential rain and the trail was only ightky slippery but waterlogged. The waterfall was very powerful so I'd rwxommenr it during wet weather

Went in after I missed breakfast one morning and can't wait to go back! The staff at Mio Mondo were so nice and patient with me while I was choosing. I'm a picky eater so it was appreciated that I had time to choose, food came out piping hot and was so good! Their homemade cakes were delicious as well! 🍰

Booked a last min table for a birthday celebration. Food was absolutely lovely and the prices were reasonable for what you got portion wise. We had two starters, a child’s meal 2 main meals and a bottle of wine and it came to £85- ignore the other reviews about being over priced ! Would deffo recommend ! 10/10 thank you

Fab little bar in bowness, great location right off the high street. Great live singer during our time here, which gave great atmosphere.

Lovely warm welcome. Nancy and John, the proprietors, are great people. You are guaranteed a cracking time, nice drinks, nice atmosphere.

Such a relaxing atmosphere, never seems to be overcrowded, unless we've just been lucky. But we had plenty of room to move around and lots of space to have a conversation without being on top of the next table. Ate here a few times, lunch, dinner and breakfast on different days and all good, but the full Willow breakfast is wow. And the gamon steak is delicious. Im looking forward to going back next year. Staff are so polite and really go out their way to help. Great place.

Amazing food Great cocktails and large portions.

Good ale, food a bit hit and miss. Pie was hot, mash and gravy cold. Steak baguette was tough and served cold.

Heard about this place for many years. So small. Waiters brilliant. Cocktails very poor. So small. It worth the money. Not impressed

My large family took me to a nearby hotel for my 60th birthday and went here for a meal. The food and service was really good and we had the whole of the upstairs area to ourselves. I would definitely recommend this quaint restaurant. You won’t be disappointed.
