We had a great evening at Lago. Their meat and cheese charcuterie board was excellent with a great selection of produce. We loved their extensive drinks menu and I have to call out their excellent margaritas! A great spot!

I loved this colourful little café, but unfortunately I had to mark them down as I think something must have been burnt shortly before we arrived, and my eyes are so sensitive that within a few minutes my eyes were stinging and streaming. I had a fabulous hot chocolate, and my son really enjoyed his burger. I would have liked to have stayed longer but my eyes were so sore (and it was too cold to sit outside) that I just wanted to leave. Staff were fantastic, and I feel terrible that I couldn’t give them the 5 stars that they deserve.

I go there in my first time trip in last week. I spend 2 hours and take some beer with my partner. We really enjoy the time. I'll come here again.

What a gem!! Me & my partner grabbed 2 turkey bacon sub rolls from here for lunch, they were £4.50 each and they were awesome! You never get value for money like that these days, it was fresh, warm and massive, a 10/10 sandwich. Even better after a big walk in the fells. Will return often i’m sure! Friendly warm service too. Well worth driving an hour and a half for our second visit to Blackwell. A unique and fascinating house. Our thanks to volunteer guide David for an unhurried tour and detailed insight into Blackwell's history. The cafe staff were superb as was the food and the Duty Manager was extremely enthusiastic and clearly smitten with the house herself. Her introduction to Blackwell on our arrival was most informative and we were amazed to see her gladly involved in carrying out a full range of tasks ranging from waitressing in the cafe to even cleaning the toilets as we were the last to leave - good management by example and at its very best. Allow good time to appreciate the Blackwell's design and high level of presentation as well as its beautiful setting. We could have spent a full day there.

Lovely decor, great menu, premium products and friendly, helpful service. Excellent location with a range of seating options for all weathers.

Went in after I missed breakfast one morning and can't wait to go back! The staff at Mio Mondo were so nice and patient with me while I was choosing. I'm a picky eater so it was appreciated that I had time to choose, food came out piping hot and was so good! Their homemade cakes were delicious as well! 🍰

Fab little bar in bowness, great location right off the high street. Great live singer during our time here, which gave great atmosphere.

Great spot for a cocktail with board games / daft games on the tables. Cocktails are nice and barmaid is good. Not very busy when we went but nice for a quiet drink.

Such a relaxing atmosphere, never seems to be overcrowded, unless we've just been lucky. But we had plenty of room to move around and lots of space to have a conversation without being on top of the next table. Ate here a few times, lunch, dinner and breakfast on different days and all good, but the full Willow breakfast is wow. And the gamon steak is delicious. Im looking forward to going back next year. Staff are so polite and really go out their way to help. Great place.

Food was lovely. We had the nicest Veggie breakfast that included our favourite Glamorgan sausages. Reception was warm and welcoming and service was prompt and friendly. Would thoroughly recommend the Magic Roundabout to anyone!

Last orders 9pm when it says on website open till 10pm. Felt as if staff couldn't wait for us to leave as we were last ones in. We always take our glasses back to say goodbye to staff. The staff should make sure we are out of ear shot before they take the mick out of us leaving. BYE BYE BYE BYE.

Heard about this place for many years. So small. Waiters brilliant. Cocktails very poor. So small. It worth the money. Not impressed

Beautiful place, great wall decor. Generous and delicious meals. Wow factor was history of the building and amazing service from Stacey. Will definitely return and would recommend.
