Very much enjoyed the Christmas Mince Pie latte. Chap serving was helpful and engaging. I appreciated my first coffee being taken over to me and the conversation while waiting for my second as take out.

Food terrible, staff clueless, prices high. I was there a few weeks ago and the place has completely changed. Never again for me and I would avoid at all costs

The guy with the beard served us. He was abrupt sweating looked like he was off his nut. and just fug-ging rude , however the young girl was the total opposite .... Lovely polite and very good at her job. Unlike the owner I think he was. ....

Great Family Pub, food is amazing

Great food, great staff 👍🏻 Go here most Sundays for roast dinner and to meet friends. Always have amazing food and a great service from staff.

Worst cappuccino I have ever tasted in forty years. Didn't even resemble a cappuccino. Couldn't even taste the coffee or milk, no froth. Absolutely dreadful. Just a mug of warm water. Waste of £7.00.

Called in here today to give it a try and met with an argumentative waitress when we sent the coffee back for being too strong. When the food arrived it was banged down on the table without cutlery or a napkin. The one toilet that was working was disgustingly dirty and the waitresses were more happy chatting than cleaning occasionally. Definitely will not be going back here, awful place

After a stroll we ordered some food. The sausage bap was overcooked burnt. Not the best experience. Which is a shame really.

Good cafe for a supermarket . In the corner and decent seating and able to have a chill with good WiFi. Has outside seating as well for summer and easy to leave your trolley outside cafe area .

Such an incredible place to enjoy the pier and views of Southport from the sea .... Great staff and great owners. Make sure you check before you travel there as the local council are messing them about at the moment with pier repairs. Definitely worth a visit when they are finally allowed to open. 10/10

Have visited a few times now and I can’t fault it at all. Whether it’s winter sitting inside with the fire, or summer sitting outside in the sun it’s always top notch. The food is classic food pub but much much better than most - generous portions and high quality. Roast dinners could do with being a little bigger but that’s just what I’m used too. Would recommend.

A dump and a sorry fall from a previous decent venue. A sad indicator of decline of commerce/office workers in area due to working from home and closures.

Arrived at 11.30am on a Saturday ordered food and sat down, very busy, many tables dirty one female young member of staff had a filthy uniform on. Food arrived after 15 mins which was fine but 20 mins later still waiting for a knife, complained got a refund, staff never apologised but did offer to heat it up in microwave. Apparently knives are all in the dishwasher! What a shambles! Staff unbothered, never seen such slow unhelpful & miserable staff in my life!

What a warm welcome we got , went today and had a coffee and cake . The staff were so friendly, and attentive , especially to our chihuahua Ruby . Who was spoilt with a puppacino and a sausage on the house . Lovely and clean , good selection of cakes and drinks . Had a Quick Look at the food menu and will definitely be back to try ! Cake had great flavour my only criticism would be it was a tiny bit dry but that could just be my personal preference. Can’t wait to go back !
