Absolutely devasted to hear the news of this place closing down permanently! It was our regular spot while living at Lockside Lane for a whole year, we loved the food, loved the beers and loved the atmosphere, our pooch loved it there too! I’m glad SevenBro7hers is still running at other locations at least, because they’re a really great business overall. Lots of great memories at this place. They had a collage of Polaroid photos of all the dogs who visited, which they called the “wall of dogs” and it was such a lovely touch. Please open a new spot in Fallowfield! The students around here would love it! All good things must come to an end, I suppose… such a shame. Thank you for hosting us!

Had lunch at Media City branch today. Beautiful food, served and presented very well. Fab cocktails, the sweets were divine. Both servers were friendly, chatty and made our visit.

Popped in for a drink after arriving in media city for a weekend trip. The barman (didn’t get his name) really looked after us. We wanted an off menu drink and it was absolutely no trouble at all. We were told to get comfy and it would be bought over to our table. We then moved in from outside and were a little chilly so he popped the heater on next to our table. We were only going to stay for one but stayed the whole evening, including something to eat. The cauliflower wings were AMAZING. Thank you to the barman working on Friday 21st March. He makes an amazing ‘Old Fashioned’ too …

Best local you could ask for. Great choice of beers, amazing food, fantastic coffee and the team are super nice. Spent many days here, working, with kids, with lads, with family - always amazing.

A lovely place to have some lunch. The food, the staff and coffee are lovely and a cut above anything else in this area. A wonderful stainglass window creates a lovely light inside. Such a shame to learn it's going and I wish the staff the best of luck because they are all great.

Lovely meal here, great service and the food was delicious. Good gluten free options where a lot of the menu can be made gluten free and gluten free bread which is a rarity!

A lovely looking venue, lots of outdoor seating and comfy sofas inside. Friendly service however the name is a bit decieving as the craft bar selection on draft is poor. There are two cask ales on which looks like they rotate and one true craft beer, again a lovely guest from Ponoma on this occasion. Shipyard IPA and Brooklyn Pilsner are Carlsberg Marston brands and Peroni is also on tap. The fridge behind the bar looks more promising but awkward to see what is in it.

Literally the best cafe in the area don’t waste your time anywhere else worked here for months an tried them all!

I spent around 40 pounds about a week ago only to have the money go back into my account a few days after , money went out on bills and i had no idea they sent it back , then to wake up today for my bank to me in £35 overdraft?? I’ve tried calling and i want answers because this is beyond unacceptable. I’ve had the same thing happen to friends aswell, and none of us are happy i don’t care that you want the money back i shouldn’t be in £35 overdraft it’s ridiculous and if you guys would of answered the phone i wouldn’t be making this review. I love the moorside farm and think it’s such a lovely place but for this to happen to just an 18 year old and have me stress about it . Sort this out now!

¡No le daría a este lugar ni una clasificación de 1 estrella! Llegó antes de Navidad fue impactante la comida fue más de una hora tarde, luego dijeron que se habían quedado sin ciertas verduras y carnes, eran las 4 pm! Le di otra oportunidad hoy comida reservada para 5. 30 para un asado dominical, una y otra hora más tarde antes de que llegara la comida y otra vez era la misma comida de mierda que teníamos antes de Navidad otra vez no la verdura y la carne correctas oh y otra vez aparentemente habían estado ocupados así que se acabaron. y usando alimentos que habían estado allí desde el período de Navidad! ¡Qué broma se ha convertido este lugar! Le pregunté a uno de los empleados dónde estaba el brócoli, su respuesta fue "¡No sé, no lo logro! El personal y el pesebre son groseros. El León de Oro solía ser un lugar encantador para comer y relajarse. También había otros clientes alrededor en otras mesas que estaban descontentos con la comida y el servicio! ¡Este lugar necesita nuevo personal y ciertamente nueva administración! ¡Un lugar horrible! ¡Evita!

Do not rely on taking a dog into every Costa. The company policy is not to allow them, so after being welcomed on one occasion, on a later occasion,after already collecting our food and my partner finding a secluded table for our quiet elderly border collie, a junior member of staff was sent to ask us to leave. We're in our 70s and mind my daughter's dog because of her ME/CFS and this wasn't even a quiet surreptitious "I'm sorry..." but a loud head turning "I'm afraid you'll have to leave as you can't bring a dog in here!" I'll NEVER willingly choose to give Costa any business as a result.

Called in as we had an issue with our accommodation booking nearby. The staff were so lovely & friendly. We had a couple of drinks whilst we tried to resolve our issues & they were brilliant in helping us to find alternative accommodation for the night. Didn’t have chance to dine but the menu looked amazing! Wish this was my local! Thanks again x
