I came by yesterday to say thanks but nobody came to the door, which now I think seemed preculiar as the lights were on and the car was in the drive. A friend of mine said I can tell people how much I enjoyed spending time at places I have been on this website so I went and bought myself a new computer to tell you how much I enjoyed your crimble crumble, but I came across some very, interesting things on the internet and got, distracted... The coffee at Long & Short is amazing. The staff are very knowledgable and so friendly. This will become a regular place for me. Highly recommend

We were having a nostalgic visit to Muswell Hill and I remembered this art shop from when it had that huge Gaudi -inspired facade. It was a perfect crisp sunny winters day and the shop has an open takeaway section at the front with picnic tables outside. It's situated right on the roundabout section of Muswell Hill. So we ordered a hot chocolate each from the huge list. My hubby went for White chocolate and I went for Nutella Hazelnut flavour. It was GORGEOUS. Both of us said it's been a long time since we've enjoyed a hot chocolate so much. Mine was SUBLIME. And the price was so reasonable!!! Seriously, forget the chain coffee shops there, and go for this place. Then we sat at the tables in the sun whilst watching the world go by. It was glorious. Highly recommend.

Very nice atmosphere, music and drinks. We had few drink each and we didn't spend a lot so it's even not too expensive

The Backyard is a wonderful place, with a great selection of drinks and a view of the old London. I wanted to make a particular mention to Tomas from the Nest, he was amazing with his service and made our experience worthwhile! Thank you to all the staff!

On a visit from the North to see friends we stumbled across this little gem. On a sunny Friday afternoon the vibe was chilled as they had a live jazz ensemble playing. The cocktails were amazing and as happy hour was 6-7 and two cocktails for 12 pounds we were in our element. Well worth a visit if just for coffee and pastries in a morning or a cocktail in the evening with some live music. They also had lovely throws if you were feeling a bit chilly. Will definitely be back.
