What a great new spot in Battersea. Delicious and reasonable Italian food to eat or take away. My cooking days are now over.

Le service prend son temps mais l’attente vaut largement le coup. Tout est préparé maison, avec minutie et finesse. Les produits sont frais, d’un goût exceptionnel, tout comme les boissons chaudes ou les jus de fruit. A ne pas manquer.

¡Dios mio! Bariba es un pequeño bolsillo de la auténtica Italia en Battersea. Tan pronto como entras te sientes como en familia. La comida está llena de amor, ingredientes frescos hechos desde cero y calma el alma. Comimos sus cuatro veces durante nuestra semana en Londres. Bellissima! !

Maybe 1 of the few proper AUTHENTIC Southern Italy restaurants. There is a wide variety of choice in the menu: from sandwiches to pasta, pizza, parmigiana and more traditional Italian dishes. Also, there is a good range of desserts but I will suggest "Torta della nonna " and "Cannolo Siciliano". I'm a regular (Italian) and I highly recommend this place if you want to taste something truly Italian.

Very cosy place to have a “quick” brunch or lunch. Friendly staff. Recommend if you do not have enough time for eating.

Recommended by my friends daughter on my visit to London from Glasgow. Friend and I both very disappointed with food. I had chicken escalope , I would normally have expected that dish to be coated in breadcrumbs , it wasnt , veg were poor, tasteless and sprinkled with some sauce , may have been soya sauce.I did eat it cos i was hungry and needed a meal before my long train back to Glasgow.My friends vegetarian lasagne had very few veg in it and seemed to be full of pesto.The only plus was the portugese tarts.

Genuine food and amazing service, really good special of the week risotto with mushrooms, truffle oil and parmesan shaves. I recommend to try this piece of Italy in Battersea.

This is a small outfit, but it offers good home cooked food, tasty, Italian , genuine, excellent value.The coffee is good too. Let Katia and Marika spoil you.

We discovered this local place by accident, the day after our return from Sicily. We had a great brunch, salivated over the menu (not literally!) and will be back as soon as we can

I recently discovered this little gem in Battersea and I could not be happier. Delicious Italian homemade food and incredibly kind staff is the quickest description I could think for Baribà! I have been there several times now, eating mouthwatering croissants for breakfast, delicious mixed plates with smoked cheese, taralli, bacon and eggs for brunch, or classic lasagne for lunch. No matter what I order, the quality is always over the top. My friends tried this place and they all became regular customers. Highly recommended to anyone. 10+!!

We had a really tasty brunch here - I had avocado with poached eggs on toast and it was honestly one of the best I've ever tried. Really lovely little place and very good value as well.

We had lunch there with my family and it was just delicious! Cosy atmosphere in a little shop filled with personality. The food is fresh and yummy! I would definitely recommend it and make sure you have a proseco to go with it!

Bariba es un lugar tan maravilloso y tiene precios excelentes también. La comida siempre es fresca y deliciosa, y la propietaria, Katia, es encantadora, te hace sentir como en casa. Nos mudamos cerca y estuve yendo casi todos los días durante la última semana con mi familia. Nuestros niños pequeños han sido muy ruidosos a veces, pero el personal ha sido muy amable y servicial. Cada plato que hemos tenido ha sido increíble, y el pan focaccia es tan bueno. Recomiendo mucho Bariba a cualquiera que desee una auténtica comida italiana.

Bariba is a very charming cafe, which is run by a lovely lady. The coffee here was excellent, and the food displayed at the counter looked delicious. The Italians know what they're doing...

I really love this charming authentic little place. Honestly the best sandwich I have ever eaten..and I have eaten a lot of sandwiches! £5 for a home made Foccacia with bresaola! Pure perfection. Love love love.

This is a little gem. It is run by people from Bari, it serves genuine Bari food , it has a lovely warm atmosphere. Katia and Marika make you feel welcome.Go visit.

Great quality food, really tasty! The prices are appropriate and the staff very nice (almost family-like). The interior is cute and well kept-up.They do breakfast, lunch, dinner, and everything to go with an authentic cup of coffee!

This is small deli and We often go there for breakfast with Friends. If you are a fun of Brioche Cornetto italian style, that is your place! I totally advise their home made tiramisu and lasagne.it is really popular between local italians as they recognize taste of "home". it runs by a family and they are always really nice.

Bariba is a real find for getting together with friends - full of lovely Italian treats, incredible coffee every time and super friendly staff you can't go wrong. I finally made it in for brunch last week and it did not disappoint - seriously delicious and Gluten Free!

I am a regular of this place, and I hugely recommend it. Staff is nice and knowledgeable, the feel is authentic and food is great! They also have a selection of Italian artisan beers which are very good.

This place is amazing! We were craving for an original Italian deli, and finally found one that can live up to this name. You can feel all the flavours of Puglia, a region in the south of Italy. Burrata is so fresh you'll forget you are in London. Pasta courses are tasty, big portions and great value for money. Orecchiette alle cime di rapa of this kind you'll try only in Italy. To finish, an awesome big cannolo as it should be. Everything for very reasonable prices and with a smiley service. More than recommended! Continuate cosi'!

A small gem in Battersea! I've visited Barbà with some friends last month... As coffeeholic I can easily say that this is the best coffee in the area!... Food is fresh and super tasty... And remind me the genuine Italian style of my mum!!! (usually I don't like Italian food outside Italy!!). Staff and owners are great:... Smiling and willing to explain what is on the counter for the day! 100x100 customers focused!!! I cannot wait to go back!!

This is one of my favorite places in London. For sure the best and authentic Italian I tried. The food is SUPER! always fresh, tasty and well presented. The staff is so nice and helpful every single time. The prices are fair. I like to find independent place run by honest people and this is on top of my list.

It's the Puglia region in Battersea! Amazing Italian food, especially their vegetarian lasagna that just craves more after you finish one portion. Highly recommend it.

Newly open small cafe, specialising in food from the city of Bari.The food is therefore tasty , although the portions are rather small.It serves excellent coffee, the staff are friendly, it is also a small shop.

if you are looking for a down to earth, fresh and tasty food and great service than Bariba' is definitely the place. my husband and I came for dinner with a couple of friends for the first time a couple of months ago and since then every time we are in the area we have to pop in for food. their food is delicious and mouthwatering and the service is impeccable, the owners are friendly and clearly know what they are selling. we stopped for breakfast the other day and again the attention to details that these guys put into it is phenomenal. and Katia's orecchiette are to die for!!! i would recommend this place to anyone, on your own or with friends and family they will always look after you and make you feel welcome

Che merviglia!!!this place is simply HAPPINESS for my tummy, for my eyes and for my need of home!!!I love to sit on the Bariba' sofa, enjoying all my favourite flavors,focaccia,parmigiana, lasagna...! Thanks to Massimo and Katia! Two special chefs that only think to makeyou feel good!!!You can stay there a lot of time and you'll say always their smiles while they prepare some of their special dishes!! I just came from the gym with my boyfriend, we was walking down Battersea Park Road and come across this little gem!I had corguette and pesto lasagne and my boyfriend meat lasagne both with a side green salad and some freshly made focaccia..... The food, the best way to describe is mouthwatering, you can taste the love put into the food. I have eaten a lot of Italian food in my life and this has to be top of the list. Please support this new local deli as I would love to see it go from strength to strength. To top it off the husband and wife team are so friendly and welcoming which is hard to find and another bonus!

Battersea Park Road is becoming what the King's Road used to be. Original restaurants, bars and delightful shops owned and run by real people, where you can drop in of a morning and chat without even buying anything, rather than over-designed, over-priced chains, run by grumpy imports with indifferent quality and terrible service. Our favourite is the Bariba Italian Deli, run by the delightful Katia and Massimo. My wife and I have got into the habit of dropping in for a late lunch and being overwhelmed by the quality of Katia's cooking and Massimo's charm. As with the very best of French country restaurants, never look at the menu and just ask for what is best. Today my wife had a delicious salad of courgettes, spinach, feta cheese, all drizzled with excellent virgin olive oil (which you can also buy to take away), with a side order of steak and smoked Scamorza rolls with rocket. I stole one of these to my wife's annoyance , which was delicious. On Massimo's recommendation, I had an amazing Canelloni with fresh ricotta and spinach, and a home made fresh tomato and bechamel sauce. Blessed with a sweet tooth, as always, I was tempted by one of Katia's delightful deserts - a Mascapone and Amaretto Tiramisu, light and full of flavour - a million miles from the cloying muck you get normally. Please drop in and give this lovely couple a try. Also, food writers, stop following the fashion of trend and give real excellence a revue. For Battersea residents, they also do home dinner parties and special evenings.

E' sempre una gioia incontrare un pezzo d' Italia all'estero, in questo caso a Londra.Il BARIBA' offre, fin dai primi momenti, un'atmosfera accogliente e familiare che crea un piacevole contrasto con la "seriosa" metropoli inglese.Eccellente l'offerta di sapori autenticamente mediterranei e davvero notevole la cortesia espressa dai titolari. It's so smooth and just awesome!Home-made, fresh, quality Italian food: for example you can see them making their own focaccia.Vegetarian & Gluten Free - an incredible range of vegetarian and gluten free pasta and vegetable dishes. I absolutely LOVE the vegetarian pesto and courgette lasagne and I'm not even vegetarian!Meats / Cheeses - classic Italian top quality meats and cheeses that are perfect as a snack or 'aperitivo'.Perfect if you are on your own: such a relaxed comfortable little place that I feel totally comfortable coming here on my own, and often chat with the lovely owners or just read.I really love this place not only because of the excellent quality of the food, I also love its authenticity, it's atmosphere and the super friendly owners Katia and Massimo.Well done guys - this is such a gem of a place.

I was just passing by and decided to get in for a coffee but the smell and the look of the freshly made panini triggered my appetite.As almost everywhere I go I've asked for recommendations. The manager/ owner was kind and point it out the type of South Italian cook they were making.In the end the food was great, the service and atmosphere as well.The price was fair baring in mind that they have to compete with the big chains. I will definitely be back whenever I am around.

We eat here once a week, the food is really good. Not a big selection but regional food and wine, well done and simply presented. We think it is good value for money, certainly not expensive or over priced. As a long time married couple it is a joy to have a silent movie playing in the background when there is a lull in the conversation. We love it.

Lasagne, a piece of focaccia and a coffee... perfect lunch in a perfect place! Katia and Massimo are always welcoming and the place looks cosy and well managed!

I had the chance to have an Aperitivo Italiano at Baribà a few days ago. Food was absolutely outstanding and the owner Catia, not sure if it's spelled correctly, is absolutely sweet.My friend and I had a hot and cold aperitif that was very well done and well presented, however I think it was overpriced. I usually go for aperitifs with friends and I have never paid it more than £10. I think that considering the area, prices might be cheaper. Food is amazing and I'm giving a great 8. Maybe just review prices, but I'll be there again..coffee is really good

I fell in love with this place. I have been here on 2 occasions and both times have been amazing. The food is out of this world. Beautiful authentic Italian cuisine. The fresh pasta is to die for and we had many other small dishes by the end we couldn't move! Definitely leave some room for desserts. On the day we went we were treated to a warm banana and chocolate muffin it was sensational :-) also the owners Massimo and Catyia are so friendly and lovely. Just short walk from Clapham junction Stn or bus ride. You must try this place you will not be disappointed!

Food is excellent, with genuine, high quality Italian ingredients. The typical Italian aperitivo on a Sunday evening was just perfect. The place is also cosy with a nice ambience and music to match. Last but not least, the owners and the food are from Bari! :) I will definitely go back and would highly recommend it! Buonissimo e bravissimi!
