I have had an unpleasant experience at this terribly refurbished local breakfast bar. I have only asked for a regular beef burger and I was given an oddly prepared focaccia sandwich with some tastles unfresh and gray looking meat that resembled rather mix of disgusting pork of terribly high fat content with absolutely non-standard cheese that was rock-hard. I had already walked away from this disappointing establishment when I have realised that this was what the man behind the counter has given me. The sandwich itself was NOT appropriately wrapped but only placed on a paper plate and given out in a paper bag. Upon opening the filthy paper bag the sandwich and its content were falling on my lap. Summing up the experience was terrible and also the service was entirely inappropriate; the man who prepared the sandwich attempted to have an inappropriate conversation about his personal problems asking me should I fancy a drink with him and when I declined this inappropriate offer he then proceeded pursuing his nonsensical efforts asking me whether I have a sister he could have a drink with (I am the only child of my parents). I would definitly NOT recommend this inappropriate breakfast bar.

Classic old fashioned Caff. Bit crowded inside

Popped in here early one morning for a tea & bacon roll. It was popular and you can see why - a proper caff serving generous portions at affordable prices.

I was taken here by a friend and I certainly was not disappointed... The menu has a variety of choice with numerous options. I had the £5.50 full breakfast which included; Bacon, sausages, egg, beans, hash browns, mushrooms and tomatoes ( I asked to swap this for black pudding as I do not like tomatoes). You also get 2 slices of toast and a mug of tea!! Extremely good value for money and decent quality of ingredients. The only thing that lets this place down is the size of the dining area. However, this is not something which cannot really blamed on to the eating establishment itself. I wish I was more local as I would be eating here more often. I hope to return soon- in the near future.

Portuguese Coffee, English Fry up, great staff, eclectic customers. What can go wrong? Answer - nuffin. A vast selection of snacks await as you share a table with the Sun, brown & red sauce and a blue collar worker. Brown or white bread too! The quality is consistent in the 20 odd years I have been irregular customer. Jo & his team seem to remember their customers with a warm welcome. I love it! COYS

Been going here for years. Management are great and the food is of a high standard. Most fry-ups are left with a level of grease most people feel dirty after they have eaten but Piggies breaks the mold as the plate is nearly clean when your finished.

Honest place for breakfast and lunch, prices are affordable and the food is nice and fresh. The coffee also does not disappoint! Run by a Portuguese family for well over a decade It's also a frequent stop for bus drivers due to the proximity to buses last stop.

This place is a Gem....You Must Visit. Had the vegetarian breakfast. Egg, bubble, beans, mushroom, tomato with toast and a coffee added chips as extra. Bubble is mashed Peas, Potato and Cabbage. Coffee was a good cuppa. Really lovely and clean breakfast at a very good price. The service and staff are fabulous and place very tidy. 10/10.

Absolutely the best cafe in London. They make common mistakes, but the quality makes up for those and more. The owner is a legend, and he takes care of his repeat customers. Very good service, 100% recommended.

Great choice of all day breakfasts. With plenty of other options for snacks and meals.

Piggies is a bit of an oasis amongst the desert of trendy coffee shops and cafes around Clapham Junction and the surrounding area. No frills and food etc at reasonable prices. These types of places are becoming increasingly rare due to the ongoing “gentrification” of London but worth seeking out if you’re after a good old fry up and a cup of tea etc.

Good breakfasts, mostly 'british' menu despite Portuguese staff (have suggested they do some Portuguese dishes), other choices on menu for sit in or take away.

I’ve been coming here for years. Joe has been serving food in Clapham Junction for nearly 25 years and every year it gets better. A great atmosphere, very good prices, and great food! Definitely one of the best eateries in SW11.

This place is great! I have been going with my dad for years, when you want something that is tasty, simple and reasonably priced… this is the place! I go to other overpriced boutique cafes around here and over the bridge but you cannot dress up quality and taste, (at the price that these things should be), when it comes to the humble English breakfasts, sandwiches (with fresh bread) and lunch, they seem to always make our coffee and tea perfectly to. Keep up the good work.

Visited here with a team of work colleagues after a recommendation. £5 will get you a huge breakfast with tea and toast! The guys I was with struggled to finish it all. This is on my list of places to re visit for breakfast in London. The range on the menu for lunch is top notch too! Less than a 5 min walk from Clapham rail station. Winner!

A lovely down to earth cafe in Battersea. Great service and varied menu and good sized portions and friendly staff. The coffee is good and everything is good value for money. They really make you feel like a valued customer.

If you ever want to find a cafe in Battersea to just have breakfast, lunch or afternoon tea with friendly banter and lots of smiles. Then this is the place. It is just a cafe but what makes it stand out is the owner and staff and the food. For me I usually buy at lunchtime Jacket Potato with beans and cheese but it comes complete with fresh salad and coleslaw and all under a fiver. On a occasion I've had afternoon tea - with a range of cake or pastry to choose from and the service was impeccable.

A well - established small Portuguese café with a great selection of food, including big breakfasts and desserts. Popular with locals; nice background radio music and friendly management. Bring the kids, friends and family. 9/10 score.

Good Food Good Service @ great prices

We found Piggies whilst looking for somewhere central to have breakfast, we both had a bagel, excellent value and tasty coffee, we got a seat but others after us didnt as theres not much seating but other than ok.

Often get bacon rolls and chips from here, when I'm hungover after a night out, and its very tasty and hits the spot, and excellent value! Other tasty good value options on the menu include chicken curry and spaghetti bolognese.The sausages in the breakfast, however, to my taste, are not the best - but this is only a small blip in an otherwise great little excellent value cafe.
