The Eclectic Collection in Wandsworth

We had blind tasting menu dinner there in March and it was absolutely lovely. Delicious meals with deep and rich flavours and all 3 courses connected to each other. The starter had beetroot which is always extra plus from me. I had cocktail old something which was too strong for me but we enjoyed a bottle of rose. We also went there again for dinner in April but meals were not as tasty as before. Main had fatty pork pieces and skin was not crispy nor cracking. Dessert had unpleasant fishy cream which turned out to be smoked cream. It had nothing to do on the plate in my opinion. Customer service is amazing. Overall enjoyed the experience but probably will take time before visiting again. Also would recommend to add more cocktails on the menu.

Funky place for brunch. Full English with loaded hash browns was quite filling but the pancakes were on the smaller side. A friend ordered one of the ‘edgy’ coffees - the Rose Latte, and enjoyed it. The room is is toasty as it’s basically a green house. Don’t over layer if you’re planning to eat a lot 😉

Food was average and a bit overpriced. I had the eggs Benedict with the pink hollandaise which I think tasted quite odd and not sure the pink was necessary. My poached eggs were also undercooked. The rest of the table’s food looked great and amazing coffee!! Atmosphere was nice and staff were lovely too!

Had a brunch with friends the food its really nice and the coffee is amazing.

Unfortunately even with a mythos grinder and a black eagle machine the coffee was just not good I really wanted to love this place but it seems the amount of coffee being used is less than the standard amount they should be using.. I’ll stick to Story Coffee and Aux Merveilleux for pastries 🥲 service and decor no complaints!

Had hopes of enjoying my breakfast yet had the owners sitting across from me having a full conversation with their phone on loudspeaker. What's the point in spending all that money on decor and ambiances when you have the rudeness to do that in front of customers. You should have a little more respect for your consumers!! Service was good though not their fault.

It's eclectic. It's in the name. Fancy design meets great brunch food, and on Friday and Saturday evening experimental tasting menues. The good news is that the prices aren't eclectic.

Disappointed with my most recent visit today. The staff seem very inexperienced and inattentive. I didn't want to sit outside because it's a hot day and I have a baby - as an alternative they sat me in "alley" in between their reception area and main conservatory which was filled with random pieces of furniture stacked up - it felt very dingy. I wasn't offered help to navigate my pram into the seating area they offered me. I then chose to move tables myself into the conservatory. The food I was served was made to look pretty... but the scrambled eggs were actually an omelette, the toast was cooked on on side and served without butter and one of my smashed avocado portions tasted foul / off. I had to get up from my table multiple times to ask for tap water (drinks weren't offered to me when I placed my food order)! I had to request butter for my toast + salt and pepper grinders. I reluctantly paid my bill today. I won't be returning.

Had Croissant, cookie and coffee all were just okay nothing special but they need to work seriously on the customer service as staff wasn’t nice or helpful, felt quite rushed to choose what I wanted even there where no other customer at that time and that didn’t encourage me to comeback for a dime in.

The food is so good! I’ve been twice now, once for brunch which was insanely good. And once for the blind tasting dinner which was also amazing. We went for dinner last night and it was a 3 course blind tasting menu (which I feel is implied as the only option but not explicitly stated on their website). The 3 courses were so good and the whole thing is amazing value. They change the menu every 2 weeks and you don’t find out what you’ve had until after each course. We loved all three courses and didn’t manage to guess most of the flavours. I’d definitely recommend, it’s tasty meal with a fun twist. And the brunch menu is just so good too, some novel dishes which taste incredible as well as the brunch classics. Honestly I want to go back again for brunch now I’m thinking about it. I

Discovered the huge (yet intimate) rooms at the back of the shop for a magnificent brunch today. Food excellent. Service excellent. Decor fun and funky. Definitely be back and can recommend.

Nice corner deli and nice addition to Earlsfield. The staff were nice, the coffee was quick and tasted good. They have so many offerings, from pastries, breads, to preserves, high end olive oils etc. The only downside is that it is very pricey ! 1 coffee + 1 pastry = £10

I bought the decadent hummus to have with crisps, olives, the thyme in black garlic extra Virgin olive oil to have on my green leaves and chicken arrabbiata which I topped with a little of their organic liquid chilli - absolutely stunning! Such a treat for my dine-in for one - Can’t fault the quality at all - absolutely lovely - thank you electric collection for making me happier :-)

Sunday Lunch. Feels like we visited on a bad day. Service was exceptionally slow, my smoothie took over half an hour, food close to 45 mins. Table was dirty when we were sat down. Bill was never brought to our table after asking. I think they were stretched as they had opening weekend at a new branch around the corner. Understandable but a shame it impacted the otherwise (it seems from the reviews) good service.

Lovely place on the High Street. Was treated to a birthday brunch here 🎊 The service was good the staff are attentitive to your needs giving you enough space to relax & order no rush. The place is kept very clean from my observation... as soon as a table emptied the spray bottle & cloth were out for cleaning! 👌🏼 The breakfast was freshly prepared to a good standard and presentation... I noted they do a lunch & dinner menu which is incredible 😋 so I will definitely be back to try lunch & dinner one day... there is also a small outside eating area at the front 👏🏼 Before I forget the prices are reasonable you won't be out of pocket! Overall 5⭐️

This Little gem is tucked away… I swear the best vegan breakfast and the naughtiest vegan pancakes …. Everything is just sooooo good!

The food, the decor, the service is literally out of this world. It's like walking into Alice in wonderland but for stuffing your face. You even get a glimpse of few rare movie posters, beautiful furniture and some antique statues. If after everything you have more space, go across the road and try their handmade chocolate which I am currently shoving in my face as I am typing this review. Places like this makes me want to be fat!

Great menu with some different brunch options from the norm. Smoothies were tasty too. I walked/drove by so many times as I didn't realize it had more seating in the back. I've heard the dinners are great, haven't tried myself but from what my wife and in-laws have said it sounded like I missed out on a great dinner.

A fab little cafe. Much more seating than we first thought (much more at the back). Great for a drink or brunch and they are accomodating for my dietary requirements which is appreciated so we've been back quite a few times

Expérience très originale ! La salle au fond est très agréable. Le service wonderful ( surtout la jeune femme avec perçing au nez). Un vrai Chaï latté infusé et non pas une poudre, des pancakes délicieux et un english breakfast très copieux. Ici vous pouvez également acheter certains produits comme des viennoiseries, du fromage ou des terrines. Une station de bus juste en face. Expérience que je renouvellerais certainement si je reviens dans le sud de Londres

The most incredible place- just incredible food and Is a taste sensation! I ve been back several times and I m never disappointed!! Their shop opposite is amazing too!! VG DF GF all friendly!

I've been there many times. Food is always good! The shakshuka is super tasty! Service is friendly and attentive. Coffee is really good as well! thoroughly recommended!

The most amazing staff, fabulous food, lovely coffee and a really family friendly environment. The furniture is definitely eclectic and all the better for it. My visit was 4th Sept 22 at 10.00 am.

The place is really not worth visiting, the food is very very mediocre at best and overpriced, I went in for the English breakfast and it was very small and not filling at all mere 2 sausages, 2 hashbrowns, piece of rock hard bread little portion of beans and burnt tomatoes.not even mentioning the side of chorizo which is an actual joke i paid double the price of a whole sausage for a half a quarter of a sausage. My last issue is the manager who was walking around the restaurant staring at everyone from a far and always looking gloomy when making eye contact with customers (including myself) which made me quite uncomfortable, but at least two staff members were nice. Overall just don't go there

Absolutely amazing place ! They food is fabulous ! Their staff are so friendly ! And although I love the cafe during the day you’re in for an amazing treat if you go to their blind tasting menus in a Thursday or Friday !

I did not care for the interior design, the busy menu layout, the excruciating names that the food had been given, or the fact that a member of wait staff *inexplicably* tried to clear our dishes away mid-meal, but the food was terrific, as was the coffee, so I'll let the rest go and would definitely return for the shakshuka!

What a beautiful place, looks amazing and the food is nice. Only thing I would say eating out of the frying pan isnt the easiest, it looks great but I would have rathered a plate. Otherwise the service, food and visual wasnt bad at all

Very cute place with tables outside and lots of space through the back. Delicious food and coffee had brunch and will definitely come back. The staff are attentive and very pleasant. They also have a shop across the road which has incredible handmade chocolate and really beautiful homeware.

The best brunch in London! Not only is The Eclectic aesthetically pleasing in every way, but the food tastes even better than it looks. Portions are generous for the price, staff are accommodating and very friendly also. Love the selection of background music too! Will be returning!

I really love the vegan Pancakes of this place! I'm addicted to this dish

Very much style over substance. Why serve a breakfast in a luke warm iron frying pan that is difficult to eat out of? Why have a tiny tea pot and then another pot of hot water to be able to fill it up? Why bring toast but no butter for it? Food was pre-cooked and then heated up - poor for the price. Tables are tiny and can't fit the breakfasts on them especially as the breakfasts come in various pans and bowls and on wooden slates. All unnecessary and a plate would be far better! Maybe I'm not the Instagram lover eater that this place seems to be aimed at.

This place is quirky but almost forgetting the basics. The novelty tea spoons seemed to be caked in dirt and the furniture isn’t that comfortable for eating. The food was oddly flavoured but still felt a little lacking.

Paid for a coffee... waited a good chunk of time for it, while the staff served others and were chatting with each other. Walked away after another few minutes with no coffee; useless.

Brunch. Wonderful place rich of ideas and treats. The pastries are delicious, specially the croissant. Had the English breakfast. Generous portions and very well prepared and presented. The baked beans were amazing. Best I ever had. Great smoothies too. Definitely recommended.

Just can't get enough. The food is amazing, the venue lovely and quirky. Went for brunch and then for the secret menu dinner. And both was just amazing. And I will go as far as saying it was the best breakfast I have ever had!

Good coffees and teas; with The Great Lockdown of 2020 they expanded their offering with deli products, pastries… and even cigars if that’s your thing!

Really good spot for brunch and a coffee and cake break. The cafe is very artsy and has beautiful interior with vases, artwork, blossom tree. French romantic interior with a twist. Toilets are also very clean and kept well. The owners are there sometimes and very friendly an nice. They also have an app where you can collect points. I have ordered their pancakes a few times and they are so delicious! Perfect consistency. IF you love fudge-like pancakes with lots of toppings this is the place. The berry pancakes come with nice spicy blueberry sauce, chocolate biscuit crumble and presented beautifully. If you like more savoury then they have amazing pancakes with bacon. The English breakfast and other dishes are portioned at a good size too with very healthy and fresh ingredients. They do a great range of 'superfood' lattest. Matcha is always fresh. They have cute spoons and cutlery for serving too. Cannot recommend enough!

I have been several times for brunch. Zero complaints. Great service, fantastic food, clean. They modify non-vegetaruan meal to become vegetarians. The decor is pretty and quirky! A must see. I will definitely come back many more times if I can.

We did the Friday evening blind tasting menu. There is no choice and you aren't told what is on the plate. Afterwards the server will ask what you thought was in the dish. It's a fun way of really concentrating on the flavours. Enjoyed it. The wine was good and reasonably priced and the decor is, well eclectic.

Much more than a cafe. Some of the finest coffee around, but that isn't where this place only excels. This is a micro-deli beyond compare. Great range of unusual baked pastries and bread, finest English and Welsh cheeses alongside the well known imports. The thing that will catch the eye of the gastronome are the fresh provisions pre-covid that would have only gone to restaurants. Oh, and don't just shop, eat in! Both brunch and evening offerings are indeed eclectic.

Absolutely incredible food, the cafe is really nice. Romina and team are such a delight as hosts. They listened to what we wanted as we had some picky eaters. Very easy to communicate, great food and a wonderful atmosphere. If your thinking to visit or host an event, do it! All the best Jessi

A very friendly place with lovely atmosphere and intriguing decorations - it is a lot of fun to spot all the different eclectic items around the shop and seating area. The brunch is super delicious and the coffee is also very nice so I have been back many times! There is seating inside and outside, however the seating inside would be very difficult for a wheelchair user or someone with mobility needs to get to as there are steps and the corridor is quite narrow.

This place is a Gem. Loved the food and the creativity of the atrocious pancake also to add friendly and delightful staff. I'll be back

Absolute gem of a brunch spot! Loved sitting in the back of the place where it was bright but covered. We sat at a table that had these cool chairs with antlers on them. I had the Earl Grey butterfly latte and the utterly atrocious pancakes and both were incredible. Will definitely be back to try other things on the menu.

Came here recently with my mum on a Tuesday afternoon for a late brunch and it was lovely. Food was really good - a little on the expensive side but also great quality and presentation, so worth it. Lots of options, including ones catering to those with dietary restrictions. The staff were very friendly and attentive, and I loved the decor! We also bought some stuff from the deli on the way out. Will definitely be back!

Have been here a few times before, but experienced the blind menu last Friday and wow! Was delicious, my favourite was the starter. I really like how you don’t know what you are trying, but the presentation made me dive straight in. I love how you then have to try and guess after. The staff are super friendly and the food is very reasonably priced. Highly recommended. Thank you for a lovely evening.

Amazing amazing amazing! I come here almost everyday, the coffee is amazing!!! The food sublime!!! The decor a touch of pure fun and insanity (literally there is an antique straight jacket on the wall) Their food whether it’s brunch or their amazing 3 course Michelin stared quality blind menu every Friday and Saturday (which is only £18) is delicious, and more instagramable than a Kardashian!! Could not recommend anymore. Best food and value for money in London, no question!!!! Great for working from ‘home’, dog friendly, and luscious cocktails!

My most favourite place in SW London. Excellent food, warm and friendly service and as the name suggests, eclectic decor. Whether you want brunch, dinner or just a coffee to go, this is the place to visit!

I had the lapse of judgement of sitting in the back. They are cramming people on the back with no regards with proper distancing and maximum allowance. Not to mentioned they took an hour to bring us two eggs on toast. Not stepping in again as I felt I took an unnecessary risk sitting in their patio. My fault for trusting third parties to be sensible and careful. Haven't we had enough of lockdown???

Ordered x3 takeaway sandwiches today, the bagel was stale, the 'smoked' chicken sandwich had brown fat pieces of chicken and was not smoked. The breakfast sandwich wasn't tasty at all. Very disappointed.

Consistently serve up the best coffee in Earlsfield and their displays of food - fresh bread, pastries, deli items - are very tempting. Recently tried their takeaway brunch - full English, vegan version - and every component was delicious (and generous in terms of portion which is always important to my husband!). A firm favourite.

Errrr £7.20 for a piece of carrot cake and a chocolate muffin?

Disappointed that only one of the three staff wore masks/gloves while preparing food and serving, they also did not appear to ask customers or suppliers to wear masks either. Food was expensive, tea dire (basically water and milk) which would be less of a problem if other issues addressed - like most customers I understand independent stores are on their knees, but both too much for me to return in near future..

What an amazing experience I had here on a Thursday night-blind-tasting-menu extravaganza. And I do mean extravaganza. 3 courses of the most beautiful to look at food with the ingredients transformed and reimagined into works of art that tasted phenomenal yet looked like no ingredient you’ve ever seen before. Pretty sure their chef is a wizard. The owners were so lovely too and very friendly. A truly elegant multi-sensory culinary experience. Thanks guys 😊

Our favorite coffee shop and cafe in Earlsfield. We love this family-owned, local hotspot with the most eclectic decor coupled with the most delicious eats! Brunch is not to be missed (and yes it’s Insta worthy) and don’t underestimate the beautifully delicious rose latte but my go-to is their “blind tasting” dinners - Michelin quality food at an affordable £24 for 3 courses! So grateful for you staying positive during Covid-19 and always finding creative ways to engage the community. Pics are of their latest festive goodies!

We are a big fan of eclectic since it opened. The owners are a pleasure and they are also very accommodating and friendly . Brunch is amazing but dinner its so great, very good value for money and LOVE not knowing what I am having, and guessing the ingredients with the hubs. My daugther loves them as well. The unicorn is a big hit.
