Recomendado!

We sometimes pop in for a coffee with friends on a Sunday afternoon. The drinks are good, but the lunchy dishes are quite variable and not necessarily good value. But it's a popular enough place, so give it a try...

Formerly The Earlsfield Deli, it has recently changed its name to Bean & Hop. With apparently more focus on coffee and craft beer, we decided to visit for some Sunday brunch (we resisted the beer at that time of the day!).Firstly, it was good to see that the coffee is sourced from a decent roaster; Nude Espresso. We ordered 2 Long Blacks and they were both very good; nice subtle hints of fruit, with no over-roasted burnt taste to it. We also ordered a bacon butty, and poached eggs on toast. We did have to wait a little while for the food (the coffee was long gone) but it was worth the wait. A lovely crunchy buttered mollette roll, with 3 pieces of well cooked smoked bacon that was very tasty. The poached eggs had perfectly runny yolks, and on top of a thin spread of avocado on toasted bread, I am told it was very good.As has become the norm with living in Earlsfield, you'll have to contend with the horde of pushchairs for space, but it's worth it for good coffee and food. We'll certainly be back for more.

There are plenty of places in Earlsfield to sit down for breakfast lunch or tea or take goodies home but this one is the best. A wide range of deli-style goodies including artisan breads and fantastic cheeses and much much more. Recommended.

If ever being served at a deli was like being served at John Lewis, this deli is that price. Price wise it is not cheap for a lunch but you do get a decent quality of feed here. Try the salami piadina, found it to be nicer than those I had in Italy.

We went to the Earlsfield deli tonight for their inaugural pizza and coques (pronounced co-Kay) night. Delicious food and a free craft beer or prosecco with every order. Get yourselves down there. This place is a Pandora's box of delicious treats, with service to match. Fab.

There is no comparison, coffee here is night and day above all competitors locally. The team are charming and the fresh food scrummy and substantial. Not cheap, but you pay for the care and attention. However, now that 'Nappy Valley' has migrated from Southfields to Earlsfield and this deli is super child friendly ( or should I say tolerant) coffee is not a quiet and relaxed affair. Punctuated by cajoling mums encouraging little ones to eat up, not drop good or not hit their sister/brother or discussions of nursery/yoga/babysitting/food choice options and endless nappy filling anecdotes, it can be less than relaxing. But pick a quiet time, read, chill and get into the groove of great classic music.

What a fabulous place. Good coffee, bacon and ham tasting how they should. Sourdough toast with unsalted French butter, jam that really tasted of jam. Wonderful offerings on the deli counter. I’m a bit of a deli aficionado and I have to say that the Earlsfield Deli is becoming one of my favourites. I moved to the area recently and it hasn’t taking me long to get drawn to this place. I tend to go pretty much every Saturday – the coffee hits the spot and there’s a good range of quality sandwiches (particularly the bread they use). I’ve got to admit - it does get pretty busy on a Saturday but in my experience it’s always been worth the wait. The staff are always helpful and seem fairly knowledgeable. We’ve also decided to book the deli for my wife's birthday on Saturday evening, which we haven’t done before - can't wait to try the tapas!

The deli is a really good choice for a light lunch. Have visited several times and I've never been disappointed with any sandwich or soup I have had from there. I was worried when it first opened as stock was limited and there was only one or two tables but it now offers more eating space and a really good range with some ultra local products like beers from the by the horns brewery in Summerstown. Accommodating of little ones too. My only wish is that it was a bit bigger- it can be a bit of a squeeze at the weekends.

I live in Earlsfield and walk past the deli every day on my way to and from work. I saw a sign recently that you could book the deli for events and parties.I called them and asked if it would be possible to book a table for 14 people and was told no as its a Saturday they don't take bookings. The manager really did not ask any questions. Just said no sorry. Pity as I would have happily made a deposit and our group would have been in for about 1.5 hours. I was not asking to reserve the premises exclusively, I was just looking for a table.I have ordered food here before on a number of occasions and its not the best, simple deli stuff that could be done much much better. The decor is lovely and that was the reason for wanting to have my sisters baby shower here as teal is her favorite colour. Just bad customer service, sorry!

The deli has a great choice of teas and croissants which are yummy. I have also been to the tapas night which was great fun lots of great dishes and a lovely glass of wine all for £25. My friend has recently moved to the area so we were on a mission to find some lovely independent cafes & restaurants. We succeeded... The Earlsfield Deli was exactly what we were looking for. The decor was really nice and the food was beautiful. We had homemade pâté and a panini, lovely organic wine and a gorgeous warm choc brownie with ice cream. I also own a coffee shop and so know what a well made cup of coffee should taste like and our coffee to follow was perfect- well steamed milk and to the correct temperature. The man who served us was also very accommodating and welcoming. Good selection of deli products with some quirky items which would be great for gifts. We will 100% be back. Thank you

The staff are excellent, passionate & knowledgable, and the well selected stock is diverse and of good quality, the bread in particular. I do only purchase some of the prepackaged fresh deli items on the day that I plan to use them, as many seem to be right on the sell by date with no later dated items tucked away behind.I haven't "eaten in" yet as, during the day, the place is the latest place for yummies to compete with each other, but I will maybe try it out later in the day.

Fantastic cheeses that really made our Christmas meal and many since then, great chocolate treasts and pesto to die for (in the wallet too!). And since Wines of the World shut it is our stop off for a reliably good bottle of wine. Friendly team and the owner is really passionate about the products they sell. If you are looking for lunch in Earsfield the venison pate is amazing and very excited to hear they have their licence to serve wine in the evening so very much hoping we will be able to get a cheeseboard to go with it!

Recently opened deli in Earslfield. Wide selection of products - some are quite expensive. They do takeaway sandwiches - ready made or made to order. A small seating section if you want to stay there and eat. Delicious pies you can take home to eat -esp like the lamb and chorizo one. Friendly staff.
