The Manny Dartin is an independent gem in the Earlsfield area - a cafe with a difference with delicious and quirky brunches. Peter the manager is super nice and approachable and creates a wonderful atmosphere. They also go above and beyond for the Earlsfield community as they support local charity events. It is so so important we keep these independent community driven places with heart in our locality so I drive everyone to pay this little gem a visit! I can’t wait to pop in for a brunch soon, have more of their cake or go to one of their events ❤️ Thanks Peter and team and see you soon! X

Usually I’ve had great food here but today the eggs were uncooked and the avocado seemed about 4 days old. When I mentioned this to the waitress all she said was “oh really” and nothing was rectified. This was an easy fix.

Since Manny Dartin opened, my husband and I have enjoyed having Brunch at this restaurant. The staff is friendly, passionate to bring you the best experience feeling cared. Each time that my family came to visit us from Spain we brought them here and each time the staff outstanded the service making them feel like at home. The food is also amazing, you can feel the quality of the ingredients and the originality of the plates (they have also the best brownies). The past year we moved to Canada and it's sure one of the things that we miss the most from London. We wish the restaurant the best luck and we hope we can come back some time :)

My companion and I went to Manny Dartin and ordered 2 main Brunches. I had the chicken sausages and hash potatoes, with a regular coffee. My companion had the pulled pork bun, with a small glass of orange juice. The bill came to £35.09, which was surprisingly expensive, in my opinion. Our server was welcoming and friendly. Thank you to them. The food was very tasty, a decent quantity, and the coffee was excellent, the best coffee I’ve had in SW17 so far in 2024. The tableware is cool (nice touch using Prosecco bottle as water vessel). Pleasant ambiance. Cool music playlist, Billy Idol, PiL, Foreigner et al. The other customers were a mixture of parents with child in buggy, and couples in their twenties/thirties. Sadly, we would not return as customers. Here are the reasons why: 1. Lovely as the food and service was, it just seemed rather expensive for brunch for 2. 2. The toilet door is mere millimetres away from a table where customers were eating. 3. The billing system is non-transparent. I will explain: Our server told us the bill verbally. There is no physical, itemised bill, so we couldn’t check it, and I presume service charge was included, but at what percentage and was it discretionary? We weren’t told. We were told the bill was £35, but on checking my bank account later, it was actually £35.09. I’m not worried about nine pence, but I do need to know the exact amount that will be debited from my account. It’s the principle. No receipt was offered. No cash accepted. Apologies if the no cash policy was mentioned on the menu or elsewhere, but I didn’t see it. Our server didn’t mention it until the end, when I asked. Would we come here again? Sadly, no. The main reasons being the slightly high prices, and the non-transparent billing system. Also, the unadvertised no cash policy. The coffee is really good though.

Great food thus the 5 stars. Couple things to improve on. I brought my older parents and the atmosphere was weird, almost like we were a little unwelcome, don’t think it was intentional. We were a long time waiting for the bill, despite not my people being there. And there was one tea bag in a large pot of tea, very diluted, not sure staff actually know how to make tea correctly. Food was great and coffees were great.

ONLY drawback is that they changed their brownie recipe and it’s not as yummy as the previous one which accompanied a coffee SO WELL. I went in for a takeaway chai latte and had accidentally said yes to added coffee. when I asked if I can have it without, not even a minute later, the staff said no which meant I had to pay £7.20 for a regular chai latte. Extremely rude staff. Good location on the way to train, but not going there again. Comment- as I cannot reply to the owner’s comment, adding here. Yes, all the misunderstanding that was described is true. My mum took the wrong coffee. And i asked, if her coffee could not be given to the other person - fairly logical question in my opinion. The staff member screamed at me that it was a different type of coffee and asked me to pay for the second coffee that they made. I paid without arguing bcs its not worth arguing for 3gbp and I did not take the second coffee, bcs I did not need two. I truly don’t see how I abused your staff, providing I paid for the second one after being screamed at and left. I hope getting paid for additional coffee that went down the drain was worth losing the regular customer. Strange way to run a business.

Editing this review as myself and a friend were made to feel really unwelcome here by a member of staff on our last visit, due to the fact we both had prams. I understand they take up space, but suspect there may have been a better way to resolve the issue today. As it was, we felt we had no option but to leave without ordering. A real shame as I had recommended this place to a lot of my mum friends but it now seems this cafe isn't such a good option if you have a pram with you. Fantastic local brunch place. The food is different from the usual (tired) brunch fare - exciting ingredients, cooked beautifully, and generous portions too. Not baby friendly!! We have walked in front of this restaurant several times and always thought to give it a go. We tried today to go for a nice lunch with our 7 month old baby who was sitting in his stroller, when we arrived at the restaurant, it was pretty much empty with only 3 tables full and the rest of them,(another 5 or 6 tables) were empty and with no signs of “reserved”.As soon as we walked in, the waitress came to the door and asked us if we wanted lunch or just drinks, we said we wanted lunch and she started to explain to us that she didn’t know if she could find a table for us … we looked around as the majority of the tables were empty including one table for 5 people right at the front, she said she needed to find a table for 3 as the baby counted for half, we pointed to the table of 5 and she said no, even when right beside there was a table for 4 with only one person. Right after that the manager came and basically told us , sorry we don’t have any space for you. We will definitely never come back there or recommend the place to anybody, they made us feel extremely uncomfortable just for trying to get some lunch with our son!

NOT BABY FRIENDLY! My friend and I had been looking forward to trying this place for a while and decided to meet there along with our babies. We were greeted with a warm welcome and asked if we needed high chairs for the babies. As we got settled in and ordered our drinks we started giving our babies their lunch. Then as we were about to order lunch for ourselves we were told that the babies were not allowed to eat their own food as no outside food could be bought in. This could be understandable for an older child able to eat off of the usual menu but our babies both under one and not that long started solid needed their own food. There also wasn’t a children’s menu to order off of to even try and give them something baby friendly. My friend and I then had to pay for the coffee and leave to find somewhere else that we could all eat together. We left very disappointed and upset as this is the first time we have experienced this since dining out anywhere with our babies.

Friendly lovely place with excellent prices for what you get. Wonderful coffee and would be worth getting just that if you're wanting a takeaway drink. Food was large portions with high quality ingredients and extra touches to make it unique. Not all of these touches worked for me personally, but it remained enjoyable. I must add that the plating is wonderful and both our dishes looked spectacular. All in all it was a lovely brunch and we will probably return to try some of the other lovely sounding dishes on their menu.

My wife and I moved to Earlsfield last year and found out that this restaurant was great! The 2 tall guys serving there are very friendly, professional and should be ranked among the best servers in London! We have also tried some takeaways for birthday party and all our friends appreciated the food very much. Our heartfelt thanks!

I’d noticed that there is always a steady stream of people at the door of Press Coffee, so finally made the pilgrimage myself - what a lovely spot. Inside is tiny but cozy and they happily let me park

No se abre constantemente porque los propietarios hacen muchos proyectos de catering en el exterior, pero si ves la mesita afuera, entra. Lugar muy pequeño, todos se sientan alrededor de una mesa gran
