Found myself temporarily working in Islington for a few weeks and my colleagues and I ventured into this gem of a restaurant. There are no frills,no drama, just good food, hospitality and service with a smile. The staff are all very friendly and the place is always busy so they are definitely doing something right. We have had breakfast a number of times and it’s always hit the spot.

Came in for a light lunch of a baguette with spicy lamb sausage and egg which was delicious and not expensive. The staff are very friendly.

We gave this cafe a go for a late lunch. They have a huge menu. We went for eggs royale served with salad rather than chips. The quality was really good, lovely hollandaise sauce, nicely cooked eggs and a nice muffin.

So we went for a wander and found this gem. Two set breakfasts with tea and change from £13. Quality stuff. Tea was dark. Bacon crisp. Lots of toast. Could not be faulted.

I can say for this cafe 5* to 5*, because when you came inside profesional service starting , very clean, quality food and the boss is checking every each table to make sure everything is perfect. I recomended tgis cafe for everyone. If you have friends meeting this is the best cafe because they have 80 seater inside and 35 seater outside. Thanks all staff

Recently went to this cafe for breakfast, the staff were exceptionally friendly, the place was very clean and the breakfast was the best breakfast I have had in a long time. It came with hot buttered toast, well cooked, and it tasted amazing. Cannot praise it enough, with definitely be back when I visit London again.
