This is one of London's best kept secrets. Amazing for anybody looking for a quiet and intimate place with ambient vibes. The music is gentle and soothing and the lighting is not bright and fluorescent. I can't speak highly enough of the customer service by Santhuru he is incredibly personable and attentive to the needs of the customers. He was able to cater and advise based on my allergies and my sober requirements as I do not drink alcohol. Would definitely visit again.

Been going here for nearly 10 years and now they just keep putting their prices and up and filling the sandwiches with less filling. Won’t be going here anymore.

We ordered 2 X-mas specials. We received something that did not look anywhere near what was advertised. The barista made plenty of mistakes, did not inform about missing ingredients and had more attention for his 2 mates than for our order. Very disappointing.

J'ai pris le petit-déjeuner ici pendant deux jours lors de mon séjour à Londres.A l'heure du petit-déjeuner, contrairement aux autres restaurants presque vides à part quelques clients touristes au visage asiatique, ce restaurant minuscule, géré par un couple, est plus animé. Les gens locaux viennent prendre leur thé en lisant le journal du matin, ils saluent le couple par leur prénom, ils discutent de leur boulot et ils se plaignent de leur boss... On sent la vraie vie quotidienne des Anglais ici, d'autant plus que ce restaurant se situe juste derrière une station de métro...Certes, la taille de ce petit restaurant ressemble à celle d'un resto de kebab parisien, et la nourriture n'est pas si raffinée que celle servie dans le restaurant d'un hôtel de 4 étoiles. Mais pour 7 livres sterling seulement, on peut se régaler d'un petit-déjeuner à l'anglaise fait maison, composé de "English Breakfast" plus un thé. On reste bien gavé jusqu'à l'heure de déjeuner.J'en suis content, très content.

The cask ales were soured, suggesting the lines and cellar could use more attentive care. Even the cider I had was somewhat flat, which was disappointing given the overall potential of the pub. Service was courteous and informative, but the pace was noticeably slow, which detracted from an otherwise enjoyable experience. While the ambiance and food were exceptional, the issues with drinks and service left room for improvement. If you’re visiting The Anglesea Arms, I’d recommend it for the food and the setting but suggest caution when it comes to the ales (maybe try a cocktail or a bottled/canned option for beers/ciders). With some adjustments, this pub could truly shine.

Fait Maison Salon de The London So disappointed 979642490 My friend and I booked your Gloucester Road restaurant on 5th November having carefully studied your web site and menus. We were astonished to find that when we asked for the wine menu we were told you served no alcohol....there was no mention of this on your web site. We settled for tap water and ordered our food disappointedly. Once finished, and having to leave our seats to request the bill, we were told that the meat we had just eaten was halal which is totally against our beliefs. Once again there was no mention on web site nor menu nor waiter when he took our order. Call me stupid but you have a French name, call yourselves "Mediterranean" and have no mention of your real heritage on your web site. This ruined what was supposed to be a special treat for my friend and I. I do plead with you to make changes to avoid offending other potential customers and spoiling their special outings. Gran servicio y excelentes panes de masa madre. Nos sorprendió lo mal que estaban los cruasanes de almendra chocolate: la capa dura azucarada eliminaba la “esponjosidad” que uno esperaba. Esta capa de azúcar elimina el placer de la experiencia y en realidad no pasamos del primer bocado! ¡Por favor, cambie su receta no sumergiéndola en jarabe azucarado! La revisión del personal habría sido de 5 estrellas, pero los cruasanes de almendra de chocolate impactantemente malo (que probamos en varias ocasiones separadas) son una completa decepción.
