Fait Maison Salon de The London So disappointed 979642490 My friend and I booked your Gloucester Road restaurant on 5th November having carefully studied your web site and menus. We were astonished to find that when we asked for the wine menu we were told you served no alcohol....there was no mention of this on your web site. We settled for tap water and ordered our food disappointedly. Once finished, and having to leave our seats to request the bill, we were told that the meat we had just eaten was halal which is totally against our beliefs. Once again there was no mention on web site nor menu nor waiter when he took our order. Call me stupid but you have a French name, call yourselves "Mediterranean" and have no mention of your real heritage on your web site. This ruined what was supposed to be a special treat for my friend and I. I do plead with you to make changes to avoid offending other potential customers and spoiling their special outings. Thank you for your attention.

Absolutamente maravilloso. el personal es de alta calidad y muy atento. no hay espera y el ambiente es hermoso. La comida se presenta muy bien y estoy muy contento con el servicio. Es un gran lugar para estar, como un mini café Claridge Bien hecho Justo Maison y el personal!

Un sitio espectacular, trato 10, trabajadores súper amables, maravillosos, atentos y comida buenísima, muy recomendable. Sitio bastante acogedor y bello.

Aunque respeto las opiniones de los demás, no entiendo las críticas negativas. Mi esposa y yo somos amantes de la comida y nos alojamos en un hotel cercano. Entramos por impulso y hemos vuelto tres veces en tres días. Hemos probado la cena, el té y el almuerzo. Todos eran excepcionales en un entorno encantador. Ambos tomamos el té alto. Los bocadillos estaban bien y los dulces eran excepcionales. El cordero maklouba es increíble. Las hojas de uva eran excelentes. Para el almuerzo compartimos el Hamsa. Deliciosa. ¡Cada plato era cualquier cosa menos soso! El servicio fue muy agradable. Ruffa nos esperó dos veces y es encantador. Se ha convertido en nuestro lugar de “ir a” en Londres.

Llegamos una hora antes del cierre, así que al principio no estábamos seguros de si nos conformaríamos con un té por la tarde debido al límite de tiempo. Nos ofrecieron 15 minutos extra para sentarnos después de cerrar y dijeron que nos servirían dentro de un máximo de 10 minutos. Llegaron 20 minutos después de que pedimos y fue absolutamente repugnante, lo siento por tal lenguaje, pero realmente lo fue. Los pasteles solo sabían a azúcar y los bocadillos eran insípidos. Pero el té de jazmín era bastante agradable y era una cena bonita. Incluso agregaron una propina obligatoria para el servicio que no se merecía en absoluto. ¡Estoy más allá de las palabras para esta terrible experiencia!

This visit was not great at all what so ever. My friends and I came hungry hoping for some good afternoon tea to enjoy toghter. First of all the service was not great, they said it would take 10 minutes but it took about half an hour to get all our food. Second of all the food was absolutely tasteless. It was pretty, I’ll admit that but that was it. The bread taste like nothing and the cookies tasted like playdough. Then third of all it was waaaaay too price for what you got. And they also added a service tax that was 12.5% that they didn’t tell us about. It lookes beautiful on the outside but the experience over all was very bland…

Such a a beautiful restaurant. The service was great and I highly recommend the afternoon tea, the Jasmine tea and the vanilla milkshake!

This establishment is wonderful we booked afternoon tea after the church for our golden wedding. They could not do enough. The food was wonderful and so much of it. All the staff joined in singing and dancing when they brought out our cake. They made our special day even more special we will never forget the afternoon and the kindness and love from the staff.

This is one of the best restaurants I have ever eaten at. It was so good the first day in London that we came back every day during our five day trip. It is a Middle Eastern inspired tea room with a beautiful atmosphere filled with floral prints and comfy chairs. First, the cappuccinos were amazing with the shaved chocolate on top. We tried new breakfast foods every day like Batata harry, croques monsieur, Spanish omelette, Turkish pie, eggs Benedict, and Shakshuka. Everything was incredibly clean and the staff was friendly and extremely hardworking. This is the top of my list for my next trip to London!

Fait Maison has the best food i’ve ever had. My family came for breakfast everyday we were in London. The people, the atmosphere, and the food was amazing. So worth it.

Beautiful ambiance combined with kind staff and amazing food led to my family and I coming back day after day for breakfast. Cappuccinos are amazing, and every meal we got was amazing and prepared with care. Definitely come here for food or afternoon tea.

I came to eat here with my sister on our first morning in London. It is located right next to the hotel where we were staying. The food was excellent and we loved the atmosphere. So we came back the next day with our kids. And again we were all impressed with everything we ate. There were so many choices on the menu that we decided to eat there every morning during our trip. We also tried many new dishes. Everything we tried was excellent. The service was also terrific. We didn’t try it for lunch or dinner but I highly recommend this for breakfast if you are in Kensington.

Wij hebben ontzettend genoten van ons ontbijt hier. Er is ruime keuze op het menu en het ziet er prachtig uit! Wij hebben onze ogen uitgekeken en zouden het zeker aanraden aan anderen. Wij vonden de jonge man in de bediening wat amicaal. De bestelde granola bowl was lekker maar echt met veel te veel granola. Het werd een droge boel en er was veel granola over.

Definitely style over substance. Staff were unfriendly, service was so slow and despite there being a buffet we were actively discouraged from having this. Two drinks we ordered were not available and considering they don’t serve alcohol, the drinks choice was minimal. We ordered food and were then told this was not available. By this stage we’d waited half an hour and the drinks had not arrived so we left. We told staff who quite honestly could not have cared less - definitely avoid if you are looking for a great dining experience.

What a strange restaurant. We weren’t sure if it was French, English or Middle-Eastern, but it was full of flowers! For lunch I chose Meat Kubbah which was delicious and my friend enjoyed Hamsat Halloumi. Service was excellent. We’ll happily return.

We booked a table because we wasn’t sure how busy it would be but we got sat straight away from the moment we walked in :) We ordered Beef Stroganoff and the Lamb Chops and it was delicious and full of flavours!

Absolutely great atmosphere and fast service. With their vip rooms to have a business meeting in such a fancy place and delicious food is all what we need after a long day of work and for more work to keep us amused.

This spot is ideal to go with a friend or a work colleague! I had the best time here and we really enjoyed the food and the tea! Prices are not bad, and the attention is great! I had never tried food from this part of the world and I was surprised! It tasted homemade and nostalgic! Delicious. We tried macaroons on the house and we even got some roses, will be coming back 100%! With my London friends.

Hit and miss. Stopped in for afternoon treat - the blackberry tart was divine, red velvet cake was tasty but not the freshest and the cappucino was just super. Went back in the morning as the breakfast menu looked super - the middle eastern style poached eggs with pickled aubergine was delicious. The peanut butter with coconut and cherries looked divine, however there must be half a jar of peanut butter on it. Main complaint was my other child has nut allergy and they were not the least bit helpful, offering only eggs and salmon with no bread at all.

Best food, service and service we had in London. Benny served us with Munique simpaty. Exellent tea, good meals, fantastic cakes. Beautiful place.

As my partner and I entered the restaurant the staff were not friendly or welcoming in the slightest. We ordered our food and looked at the photos on their website previously and when it arrived the portions sizes were ridiculously small and for the price was definitely not worth it. There was also a 12.5% service charge that was a requirement to pay which we were not happy about as the service was horrendous. Both of us realised that the restaurant was Middle Eastern and all other customers were of this origin and were getting much better service than us. Will definitely not be returning.

This place is more style over substance and if you are not Arab then you wont get a look in or be ready to be ignored. Although I had made an online booking Arab customers got priority and the best seats. Food was ok but certainly not worth the price.
