Great vibe in the bar. Awesome decor/ memorabilia! Thai restaurants was incredible!! Staff was friendly., Was able to make a reservation so it can be busy.

Cute flowers, bad vibes. The place looks great from the outside, but it was a little grungy and warm inside. The bar splits the place with an Asian restaurant… The ladies at the Asian restaurant We’re pretty rude. The guys at the bar were chill. No music?

Haven’t been here since few years Managed to find a table inside - something never happened before around the Christmas season - on this very busy Saturday afternoon ( around 16:45 ) Enjoying my “no head” pint of Asahi Service is good

The only positive part of my experience was the greeting by the woman directing diners to the small restaurant off the main pub area. I was rushed from the beginning, clearly staff wanted me to order quicky. I ordered an appetizer and main, appetizer and drink came quickly. When the main came soon after I was offered no plate to serve myself with. The food was average at best. Just your run of the mill Thai takeaway standard at a push. Very soon after I finished the meal, my glass was still half full, I was asked is that all. Soon afterwords I received the bill. Clearly I was not meant to linger and was expected to finish the drink while the bill was on the table. While I was wondering if staff bring a machine to the table for me to pay or do I go to the counter, a male wait person aggressively - without me asking for his help - told me to pay at the counter. That did not feel good. I cannot remember a worst experience, I’m very sorry I went when I think of how many other lovely places there must be in London. As a tourist it just felt sad and unwelcoming. Do not waist your hard earned pounds.

Very well-known restaurant. The service was a bit unmotivated. Quaint and fun to stop by for a beer. We didn't want to eat anything else there.

Came across this place almost by accident on the way to a Prom. A really tasty well made Pad Thai. Very pleasant and helpful staff at the bar and in the restaurant. They were real people, not just staff who had been on a “how to be nice to customers” course. The place seems very successful and busy and is not just cruising on its reputation. All round excellent

I always stop in for lunch when I’m in the area and have never once been disappointed. My personal favourite is the Pad Kee-Mao. Expect a disclaimer from the staff that the dish is spicy and they aren’t lying. Always delicious and is identical to when I first tried around 15 years ago. This restaurant is extremely popular so expect to eat and move on rather than spending hours seated at your table. The pub attached is a great traditional British pub and great for an after meal drink either inside or preferably stood outside on the pavement.

The building is gorgeous, outside and in. We had reservations for dinner and did not realize dinner is in a back room, separate from the main pub. Dinner was good however felt rushed. When the waiter came, we ordered an appetizer and he told us we needed to order our entree now because they have to turn over tables. We got our appetizer and entree at the same time. Food was ok. Good Thai dishes, but not amazing.

To our surprise the food is Thai food I'm guessing from a restaurant behind the bar. It's ok Thai food. The bar is of course super cool with all the flowers outside and decorations inside. So I'd say it is better to go for a drink than dinner

Two women of color seated deep in the back and ignored, without having our order taken. So, we left and walked up to the pub. Holly is the only shinning star! She was attentive and engaging. To all my POC coming from the US with $$$, skip the restaurant and look for Holly in the pub.

Totally disorganised pub. Manager seems unable to direct staff who do what they want. No organisation,no system. Filthy toilets which haven't been cleaned in hours. No cleaning rota on the door. Tourist pub that gets the sales but so sad to see such a badly run one.

Absolutely stunning place, beautiful surroundings and flowers with plants all around. Such a wonderful atmosphere, will definitely return.

Unusual, warm, excellent cuisine, however reserved for 9 p.m. but we don't tell you that at 9:30 p.m. the restaurant closes and not 9:31 p.m.!

Hidden gem at the back of pub. A bit of a small space however it works. Great place to grab a drink with friends. The food was good. I wasn't blown away. However lacked presentation. Service was quick but server was didn't pay attention to our request. Spring rolls were super small. Food came out quickly and hot. The space was very antique. Tons of things that are old on the walls. Not rushing back but would visit again given the opportunity.

Beautiful on the outside but it's very expensive, we had a Pepsi that was a refill and a beer and it cost us 12 pounds, it's not worth it.

Could do with a good clean, loads of cobwebs and dust. Otherwise very good.

The pub is truly an attraction. The décor is very beautiful both inside and out. The interior is quite crowded, especially on weekends. I didn't eat anything there, just had some drinks, which were very good, by the way. The service is average, but I think with the number of people, it's hard for them to be attentive to everyone. I recommend a visit :)

Eat in this old English Pub in the Notting Hill neighborhood, after a walk through the PortoBello market, Thai food, friendly service, normal price depending on the area (be careful with the spiciness)

Restaurant tucked away in the back of this pub. Run by Thai people and food is so good and affordable. Pad kee mao is a deep hot spice and still maintains flavor. Very hot and loved! Little outdoor patio and indoor seating. Can come in for pre drinks in front sport bar area. Friendly staff.

Ok, hear me out. This is a British pub serving Thai food. I set my expectations at a low level coming here, but it far exceeded them. It was busy, but I only waited 5 minutes for a table. Service was so quick, the curry I ordered came out just before the drink. The food tasted great, and it was nice to have a real beer with some Thai food! The decor is cool, but it’s also a pub, not some fancy restaurant. Overall, I was impressed, and left full and happy.

The decor outside is incredible for photography. The staff is super friendly and the food is delicious.

Used to frequent the Churchill Arms and the attached Thai restaurant a few years ago and always loved the food and cosy atmosphere. Went again recently and it hasn't changed one bit! and that's a good thing. Traditional pub with a great Thai restaurant out the back. Always popular so it pays to book. Easy to book online. Great food. Great atmosphere.

It is a lovely pub. It has maintained the good vibes even after Jerry retired. The food is still very good but more expensive. It is a great place for a lunch break.

I expected it to be livelier. Slightly more expensive beer. The place is a bit subdued and not having booked, I had lunch in the particular "garden" full of plants hanging from the ceiling, perhaps a little short for my height. It was good and tasty... the jasmin rice wasn't very fragrant and it was a little overcooked... at home I use royal tiger but I think there are also brands for restaurants that have a good yield and are scented. The meat and vegetables were tasty and cooked well. Low price for food

Obviously the flowers but the nicest people behind the bar. We stayed for a few pints and was a highlight of our London trip.

Been here a few times now - staff seem consistently bad at pouring a pint of Guinness. The head is massive, one time it was so massive that I asked for a top up and they seemed upset and didn't even bother to wipe the glass when they spilled beer all over it. The pub is nice and I'm local so I'll return, but their Guinness pouring is shameful, I think I'll just start taking pics and uploading them here until they get the message maybe?? you can then see the comically large head that they think is okay hahahah

Maybe the must beautiful pub in London. The staf are fantastic. The food at the restaurant is vey good and not expensive. I think that having a Thai restaurant in a traditional English pub is very interesting, specially because the food was great. The pub very traditional and with a fantastic atmosphere. The personal was very helpful and kind. A must go in London. Don't miss it.

The food was wonderful and the Thai tea was perfect. But our server was very gruff and grumpy. Food came out quickly.

Good Pub. Barmaids stand around talking to themselves and not interacting with customers or cleaning the bar like good bartenders / maids do.

Ambiance is amazing but our phone was stolen from the table by so-called newspaper sellers coming from outside.

This place is famous for its flower display but another equally attractive aspect is the Thai kitchen. The Thai dining area is at the back of the bar and open from noon. Great service and hospitality from Thai staff. I would recommend any dishes because they’re authentic except Pad Thai because it lacks a key ingredient which is tamarind sauc. “Pad si-ew” or “Pad nam man hoi” is worth trying. They’re both mild dishes. The bar section is at the front and you can have some aperitif there while waiting for the kitchen to open.

Very pretty, both exterior and interior. The food is good but I was disappointed not to be able to have a real vegetarian dish because apparently they were out of it for X reason (I didn't understand the waiter). So a dish of dough with not much in it for 13 pounds was a bit expensive even if it wasn't bad. My husband's chicken curry was apparently very good

Really cool pub on a side street in Kensington. A mix of locals and tourists. One side is a pub … other side is where you can order food (Thai). Bar staff was really cool and easy to interact with. Really busy with lots of turnover. We’d go back.

It was surprising, a pub next to a Thai restaurant (the setting is really atypical) meal-wise, it's not essential but it gets the job done.

When I lived in London many many years ago, this was one of my favorite spots. Beautiful on the outside, interesting on the inside, and then surprisingly really good thai food through the back! Felt like a hidden gem back then.

Unusual: Thai food in a pub! But this is really delicious. Large beer selection. Colorfully mixed audience. Some tourists, but also locals who have a hiss after work. Thumbs up, very comfortable. Super friendly staff from many countries.

Not up to expectation. Hotel staff (particularly female attendant) were surprisingly very impolite and unwelcoming to the point of rudeness. Given the significant history associated with this London icon it is sad to see it being managed this way. Thai food was ‘ordinary’ compared to other Thai restaurants. Would not recommend a visit.

Service is ok. Ladies toilet dirty and smelly. Toilet papers everywhere. On the floor and on the toilet seat in all the 3 toilet rooms , Toilet not flush. Price for sauvignon blanc NZ on the beverage list is apparently dated. Offered more pricey alternative. Tables not cleared quick enough. Empty glasses left on a few tables. Disgrace.

Google maps lists this restaurant as dog friendly and in previous reviews it seems others have brought a dog and had no trouble. However, I made a reservation for three people for last evening and put in the notes that I would have my dog (a Labrador) with me. When I arrived the first thing the member of staff said was “No dogs.” Confused I mentioned that we had a reservation, and she said we’d have to go “to the garden” because of the dog. I asked which way we needed to go to enter the garden and she just pointed towards the front door, so I assumed there was a side entrance somewhere. I found a side door into what appeared to be a covered patio and saw a member of staff walking past. I asked if this was the dog friendly patio area and mentioned we had a reservation and I was told by the second member of staff that dogs aren’t allowed. The outside is beautiful, and I can’t comment on the food or service since we were never seated, but beware that they seem to no longer be dog friendly.

Delicious Thai food in the back. The green curry was so good. Four of us went in without a reservation around 18:15 and they were able to accommodate us as long as we could get out in an hour. Well, we ordered quickly and the food came right out. We were very grateful to eat there because the food was delicious, service was excellent, and we had heard great things.

Wasn’t exactly what I expected but still a cool piece of history. Wasn’t really much Churchill stuff and the Thai restaurant ordering process is slow and clunky.

I've been wanting to visit this legendary public house for donkeys years and it didn't disappoint. The inside of the pub itself is as traditional as an old pub gets. Absolutely beautiful. The food though is a departure from Fuller Pubs as inside is a Thai restaurant and wow, how good is it? Phenomenal is the answer. Main courses are around £15. Sides are £6. Beers around £7. Atmosphere priceless.

Quirky pub with fantastic Thai food. I haven't had such great tasting and authentic Thai food outside of Thailand. Be warned the jungle curry is very spicy, not dumbed down for foreigners! Advise to prebook as very busy and couldn't get a booking for 2 nights.

Victim of its own popularity, getting a seat here on a weekend is not easy. But a beautiful old fashioned pub with many tourists about taking photos of the beautiful exterior.

The outside decor is just amazing with all of the real flowers! Nice interior as well, plenty to look at. Good beer, very nice staff. It's a must stop as far as I'm concerned, very charming. (The back is a Thai food restaurant that has a garden. They will serve your food in the pub portion as well.)

The outside of the pub is covered in flowers and looks amazing. Inside it is full of weird and wonderful bits and bobs. The food here was very good as the menu was Thai food, which even on a busy Friday evening was quick to arrive at our table in the bar and, more importantly, tasty. Service at the bar was friendly and quick. It's definitely worth a visit to such a unique pub in London.

Someone said, this is only the second best pub in London. No, no, no. Serving more than ten draught beers 🍻 from London and England. I felt in love with Neck oil and London pride (don‘t tell my wife, well she loved it, too 😂). Ancient room inside, two tv‘s showing football (it‘s Euro 2024), very fast serving and don‘t forget: pay with card! This is unusual for Germans … 🤪. We checked in each night while in London. And learned to to know many London citizens - thanks to Churchill Arms ❤️

It was Pimm’s o’clock on an early summer evening! The Thai restaurant in the back smells delicious, but we already had dinner plans and just stopped in for a pint or two. The floral adornments on the exterior are worth the stop! It’s fun to see all the Churchill memorabilia and everyone, staff and visitors, were very friendly!

Not as good as the hype or pictures you see on Instagram, newspapers etc. Staff were friendly, but essentially the vibe was no different to any other London pub.
