The pub is very welcoming and characteristic, excellent Thai cuisine at very affordable prices for London, I would not have separated the restaurant from the rest of the pub

Came down to the pub after seeing it on Instagram the atmosphere was really nice, we got served by Isaac and Sofia they were very welcoming and let us try samples of some beers 10/10 service !

Great old pub, full of brick-a-brack, flags and everything English and Irish (the landlord is from Ireland). Can be very busy after 8-9 pm.

A place to enjoy the wide variety of beer 🍺. We tried the Thai food and in my opinion it was very greasy and lacking in seasoning. The place is incredible inside and out, a classic London Pub. Option after walking through nothing hill.

Came for an early dinner before a show. Got the shrimp dumplings to start which were more like shumai and not so great. The curries were decent and proportionately large. Service was a bit rushed - would be nice to sip my drink for a bit before the food came. Pub atmosphere was fun and quirky.

Hands down one of the best pubs in London, decor like that is copied by pubs worldwide but cannot be done. To accumulate the amount of worldly items that the Churchill arms has accumulated takes a very well lived lifetime. Take a bow, thank you for your service. Yours sincerely, Mr Sir

Delicious Thai food in a really awesome pub. The interior is decorated in a really cool way but the exterior of the pub really steals the show (especially at Christmas time). Have visited twice and thoroughly enjoyed my meal on both occasions. The prices are very reasonable considering the large servings.

Bright warm atmosphere, makes you feel well at home. Great pints and decent prices to enjoy before your journey home.

What a gem of a pub, we went mid December, amazing atmosphere, fabulous Thai food and reasonable prices. Would have loved to be there in the evening, once it was dark, as can only imagine how fabulous the outside decs would be.

Best Pad Thai id ever had. Lovely Australian barmen happy explain different ales on tap. The publican was wonderful and chatted to us about the pub giving us insight to its unique nature. And oh, those Christmas lights - what a dream!

I took a trip to see London and visited several pubs. I can say without a shadow of a doubt that this was my favorite! Beautiful atmosphere, cold beer and great service. I will come back whenever I can.

Popped in during our visit to London as my husband had been there in 1997 and wanted to revisit.

Great bar, quirky decor, intriguing locals, tasty quality Thai food, but utterly hopeless girls behind the bar. We watched two young ladies have conversations for 5-10 minutes with their backs turned to the bar. Customers lining up. This form continued for 45min while we stayed. Even whilst serving, they continued their personal conversations with almost zero regard to a customer interaction in the what I would consider a landmark pub. These two are a poor representation of what this establishment can offer.

A fun place. Lively and colorful. A place to visit in London. The waiter with the ‘Celine Dion’ tshirt was very kind to us and took a lovely pic of me and my partner.

Already packed 30 minutes after opening on a Saturday. Very strange they had run out of Guinness. Lots of memorabilia to look out and good atmosphere. Restaurant was fully booked

It is very picturesque. Everything was very nice but too many people inside and outside. It is almost impossible to get a place to sit and even standing is uncomfortable because there are so many people. Try to go at a less crowded time

The service of the restaurant is absolutely garbage. Durring the festive period they accept only walk ins and they give you a time slot which they are not following. They have given a table to a group in front of us just because they said someone had recommended the place while we were waiting for more than one hour. Completely disappointed and disgusted.

Interesting pub famous for its lights during Christmas (which come on around 4:30). More touristy so the crowd comes in waves and provides come opportunity to get a seat. While it's very British, there is a nod to Ireland dotted around.

Been in before and will definitely go in again, I was in London for Christmas songs went in on Christmas Day for a bottle of champagne, I love Pol Roger and they sell it as a very reasonable price (so thank you for that) they normally have a wonderful noodle kitchen on the side so you can eat as well if you want, Christmas Day the food was not available, understandably so, I will be back for new years…, Staff were great, thanks the the Australia guy - forgot his name x

Visited Churchhill Arms for a historic pub that just happens to have Thai food, which we tried their Phad thai and 2 pints of Fullers beer. Fills up quickly, so show up early.

Love this pub. Make an annual trip with my friend every Christmas to see the trees and the lights. Always rammed, but a good atmosphere and really tasty Thai food. Would highly recommend booking ahead if you want to eat there as it does get busy. P.S. please bring back mulled wine in December!

Traveled to London to spend Christmas in the city. Saw this pub blowing up on ig so decided to spend and evening there and couldn’t have felt more welcome. The bartender was Isaac and even though they were super busy, my guy was flying around serving everyone with a smile. Top tier customer service. Best part is that I didn’t even know they had Thai food and it was incredible. Highly recommend regardless of season.

I was clear that I wanted to see it mainly because of the facade decorated at Christmas and it really leaves you speechless, it is a visit that you cannot miss, there is a lot of atmosphere.

December at Churchill Arms has such a good festive vibe. They really know how to decorate it all out. The pub area can get quite busy and loud but the food area is very nice. I recommend booking a table online because their Thai food is pretty nice. I had Thai Tea and Pad see ew (stirred fried flat noodles with beef).

Chicken satay not good, tasted like defrosted meat. Number 2 was very good. No. 13 with beef was not bad but would be better if they served the rice in a separate bowl. Cannot order bar snacks.

Fun, famous pub in Kensington, close to Notting Hill tube too. Its known for its decorations both inside and outside—especially at Christmas. Because of this, it attracts lots of tourists who walk around inside and outside, which can be a tad annoying. However, there was also a good mix of locals and an after-work crowd when we went, which makes it feel more authentic. The beer selection is great. We tried the 0% Guinness and a few pints of Frontier. Since it’s owned by Fuller’s, they also have their others like London Pride. The menu has Thai food, which looked tasty, but on a busy Friday night, there wasn’t much space to sit and eat, so we didn’t try it. Keep in mind it’s a small bar and can get very busy, so you might need to move around the edges and get deeper into the pub to find a spot. Overall, the Christmas vibes here are fantastic, and I’d definitely recommend it. I’ll update the review after trying the food!

Bad customer service from the Thai restaurant. Walked in around 7:30 pm to get a 9 pm reservation since the place was packed. The waitress was very condescending and seemed like she didn’t want to assist my friend and I book a reservation. She proceeded to confirm and write on a piece of paper, and we walked out. We came back at 9 pm to hopefully get our reserved table, unfortunately, and not to my surprise, the same waitress is reluctant to serve us (probably because she really didn’t place any reservation) and tells another waitress to serve us. We tell her that we booked a 9 pm reservation and she says we have no reservation. We look at the initial waitress and she goes like “the tables are full” and proceeds on with her business. This was so unprofessional! Hopefully they will train their staff to treat customers better and be professional.

Spectacular from the outside. The inside is very full of tourists who often don't want to drink anything but just walk around. You can drink a beer here. The food is also good. If the weather permits, it's better to drink the beer in front of the store. You should have visited.

Probably the worst pad thai I’ve ever had in my life. I was so incredibly disappointed to see that the “vegetables” included in the “vege pad Thai” were just some faint shreds of carrot and spring onion. Most places would offer tofu as a protein on the vegetable/vegetarian option, or would at least include a reasonable amount of vegetables. When I complained to the waiter they were incredibly defensive and said if I wanted more vegetables in the dish I should have ordered another dish (wtf?!). I could barely eat any of it as it was just a heap of dry, chewy noodles with barely any vegetables or flavour. I’d never recommend anyone to come here and eat unless they want to eat the blandest, worst than microwave meal quality food. What an absolute waste of money.

A very famous pub in London, visited even by Churchill's grandparents - the 7th Duke of Marlborough and Lady Frances Anne Emily Vane. Very beautifully decorated for Christmas. The lights turn on at 4:30 p.m. English time. There is a lot of Churchill memorabilia inside. It's worth visiting this place.

This brewery is a real gem! The beer I had was fantastic – full of flavor and perfectly fresh. The place charms with its atmosphere: classic English decor and historic design give it a unique character. Busy pub, friendly safe vibe. Seats inside and standing room outside. Winter festive season lights are impressive and worth a visit if you’re in the area. The Thai restaurant inside, is busy however ask for a table and staff will let you know if there is a wait. The venue is cosy, food served was delicious. Food was nicely balanced between portion and price. Service was fast.

Wonderful buzzing atmosphere at this popular historic pub, without doubt a tourist destination. Thai food is basic unrefined and pedestrian served with attentive friendly service . The Christmas lights and historical Churchill trinkets whilst impressive do not warrant a second visit . Don’t take your captive audience for granted as eventually it may disappear .

I'm very sorry to only have to give two stars, but it was really disappointing. Very nice place and in this period Christmas themed both internally and above all externally! Unfortunately, however, it really has nothing of a pub, since the food is Thai and the prices are high for the place... It was a real disappointment!

Amazing pub in Nottinghill area . The decoration inside and out was top notch. Very busy on a Thursday evening but a must go to if you’re in the area. They have a variety of gins and pretty much all pub drinks one can think of. Recommend!

We’d travelled down from Gloucestershire for the day. We specifically wanted to come and have a pint at Churchill Arms. Outside looked fantastic, but when going inside and waiting at the bar for service….was horrendous. Bar staff chatting amongst themselves whilst us and other thirsty customers were left waiting. When an order was taken they forgot who’d had ordered a beer. Then after the drinks had been served the bar staff continued chatting whilst the customer was left waiting to pay. This has probably been the worst experience of bar staff I have ever witnessed. I used to manage a team of bar staff myself back in the Cotswolds and would never tolerate such ignorance from the staff. Very amateur and really let the pub down. Disappointing experience.

The sight is worth a visit, inside and out. The bar is busy and the atmosphere is relaxed and loud. The restaurant in the back is ok in terms of food and price. We got a seat without a reservation but as soon as the last bite has been eaten and the last drop has been drunk, everything is immediately cleared away. The table is wiped down and everything is re-set. It's easy to feel thrown out. I understand that you want to cash in, but that's a very unpleasant way.

Beautiful pub, nicely decorated. However on a Sunday night only toilet was available and it was so dirty that you couldn't even use it.
