Caffe Nero in Kensington and Chelsea

We ordered 2 X-mas specials. We received something that did not look anywhere near what was advertised. The barista made plenty of mistakes, did not inform about missing ingredients and had more attention for his 2 mates than for our order. Very disappointing.

The coffee was amazingly roasted, and frankly, I asked for bags of it I hope it opens here in Saudi Arabia

Quaint cafe down the road from my hotel. My croissant was yummy. My caffe latte had a slightly bitter bean but my husband enjoyed his iced mocha. Nothing I would die to have. As people were leaving, tables weren't getting cleaned so you got to sit in filth which I am not fond of. Need someone to clean 🫧. Restrooms, dishes, tables in and out and empty trash.

Decent coffee & service. Should be better.

Nice coffee ☕️ choice that you may have. Even though they ask you if you would like to have it strong enough or light. Loved.

Very tasty vegan options such as cakes, raspberry crossaints, granola bars and vegan milk options for drinks.

Coffee and food were nice, however most of the items were missing. Tables and toilets were dirty.

Simple chain coffee shop, but very relaxed and laptop friendly. Staff are very attentive.

We ordered coffees and several desserts. Coffees were pretty good, the desserts all tasted stale. We may be spoiled by the several bakeries we've visited in London during our stay that were absolutely excellent.

Tried to go 5 mins before they closed for a cookie and was told they were already closed, not impressed

Workers here seem to have a language barrier and have numerously taken my order incorrectly.

I’ve been visiting that place for 10 years now. Although staff was okay, on July 2nd, there was a man seated in the back making noise and clearly disturbing everyone peace, yelling and preventing people from seating at certain places BUT the staff did nothing strangely. Apparently he is used to go there and stay until closing….WOW

I just went into Cafe Nero - Gloucester Road - London to buy a coffee. I said to the barista good morning how are you - he ignored me and I repeated how are you doing today. I always say how are you when I go into shops. He looked me up and down and looked at his colleague who did the same and they both laughed at me. I said I was only being friendly and they laughed again. I left. I go to cafe Nero all the time but will never go there again. I was only being courteous and respectful. For your staff to behave in such a way to a customer is extremely disappointing and lacks any 5 star customer service.

Nice atmosphere , not much options to choose from like other branches but it was ok .

Sat 3, May (2:35pm), I visited a Nero coffee shop and ordered an Espresso Columbia single shot. The barista, a black girl with long hair, appeared disinterested in her work. Surprisingly, she charged me £5.65 instead of £2.65. Although I assumed it might be a special menu item, today I visited another Nero shop and was charged the correct price of £2.65. When I asked the barista there, she explained that I should have brought it to the attention of the staff at the previous shop. Upon returning to the original shop and explaining the situation to someone else, they apologized for the error. However, this experience has left a negative impression of your coffee shop. I would appreciate your prompt attention to this matter."

I loved visiting this place. They have a very good porridge and I enjoyed their Americano, but they serve it incredibly hot. I spilled mine on accident and it literally scalded my hand and I got a second degree burn. They really need to fix that or at least put sleeves over the take away cups. Other than that, I have no complaints

Café Nero Gloucester road the staff are very helpful and friendly so I was so shocked today as my friend and I were just finishing up our drinks when a man came in and kicked the cleaning sign over and was not pleasant he was waiting for the lady to arrive he ordered two drinks and after a short time asked the staff when was closing time the lady behind the counter said politely in one hour sir he lost his temper and was so very nasty and abusive I thought he was going to hit her two other people stood there and after a while this nasty aggressive man left with the woman.ifelt sorry for the lady behind the counter as she was visibly shaken.

Tasteless iced coffee. Not enough staff present to keep this shop clean. Not a comfortable visit.

I won't be coming back because of the very unkind staff, bad attitude, even racist tendencies, ordering without any polite words, even though I was polite to her.

Nice Coffee Shop / cafe. Flat white is around 3.75 GBP. It was good. Nice atmosphere, slow jazz. I see people working from here as well. Got some food options. Hey will heat if you need. I should say it's a comfortable place. You can even have a quick catch-up with friends or office meetings. Got kids feeding chairs as well. If the weather is good you can enjoy the outside seating by the street. Nice neighbourhood as well. About 5-7 min walk from the Gloucester Road Station.

Classic Nero spot, coffe is good enough, service is fast but not that clean as it should, needs to get better maybe needs a real cleaner not stuff s cleaning only

Nice café, nice atmosphere, nice room, good armchairs where you can sit comfortably. Good coffee and cappuccino too, a good time. The toilets, on the other hand, are not very clean, too bad.

I asked them to cut our croissant in half and they ripped it in half with their hands. Right in front of us like they didn't care. Awful service. Good latte though

Love this place the best coffee in London

Branch close to the corner of Gloucester metro station Ashburn Pl, South Kensington. The branch is old and it appears from the old and worn out condition of the seats and floor. The barista who served me coffee was professional and the cup of coffee was perfect.

The place is filthy. It even smells dirty. Seats are very worn and the leather and fabric is ripped on many chairs. The tables are in a poor state also. Don't know how it passes a health inspection. The toilet is disgusting. The staff are extremely rude. Coffee is lukewarm at best. They make a face if you ask them to heat it up again.

I ve costumer for 10 years and today I went for buy a coffe like always do, was girl working I ask for regular caramel late and them she give me a large cup I said I ordered regular she said they had just one size and the coffe was not good.

Finally a coffee shop in London with couches and armchairs and that serves coffee in real cups rather than paper cups. Time to cosy up.

Best coffee in this area of Kensington! We’ve now tried all the neighborhood spots within a few blocks of here and can say this place has great lattes—hot, strong, not too much foam. Some staff are friendlier than others, but we’ve had good service here and staff have been kind. There are always at least two or three people working here (thanks management), so the shop works efficiently. Very laid back atmosphere, Christmas music (Bing Crosby). Mince pie was classic. Family friendly. Dogs allowed. Don’t expect the best pastries in town, e.g. they have pretty average croissants (I have tried almond and plain). If you want some pastries that are fresher and hot, then go to Pret or Paul nearby. But I highly recommend Caffe Nero for coffee and breakfast!

Staff are useless because the manager just shouts at them but take no initiative or responsibility. She’s also extremely rude to the customers! Won’t be coming back because of her

Si merita tutto 5 stelle perché questo bar/caffetteria è stupendo . Il cappuccino è meraviglioso e le cinnamon rolls di una bontà unica . Servizio impeccabile, gentili e meticolose . Bagno pulitissimo e location molto particolare un po' come sentirsi nel salotto di casa , io ci sono andata tutte le mattine . Rapporto qualità/prezzo molto buono. Si può oltretutto trovare anche qualcosa di sfizioso per la pausa pranzo , bevande , fette di torte e biscotti .

19/11/2023 at 17:00.... sono entrata e nessuno ti saluta.... arrivo d'avanti la cassa e assistivo la ragazza bionda che preparava con comodo un cappucino a un ragazzo.... dopo 10minuti che faceva tutta la carina con questo tizio ho deciso di andare via con tutta la mia famiglia a starbuck che ci ha preparato 5 cappucino in solo 4 minuti.....

Implementing a more strategic approach to staff deployment and ensuring consistent management oversight could significantly enhance the service experience.

People make the difference and at this cafe the service is so good with very friendly staff. 👍

I came late to get some coffee beans and the staff were very nice helped me with great smile

Cute little cafe with good Italian coffee. We had hot chocolate and chai tea, tiramisu and carrot cake. There was a large mural photo of trams in Milan on the wall. We recognised it straight away as we had been there recently.

The worst experience at this Caffè Nero. I went for a coffee with my husband as usual this afternoon, Saturday the 5th August. Ordered two lattes, and was not sure if we’ve got the right size, But this young Asian man talking riddles, so we just gave up. Later when went to ask him for a cup of hot water, he refused to give me one and told me water is too expensive, but in the end he did give me very little water in a small cup. I was quite upset by his behaviour. I really hope that this young Asian man is not going to ruin other people’s day.

The coffee here was better than from the Seattle, US, chain.

The coffee was good. The pastry not so much. I ordered a pain au chocolat and it was the worst one I have ever eaten. Waiters were friendly but slow. The atmosphere was ok.

This morning sunday 23d july placed my order and whilst ordering the barrista took a coffee cup, spat im it, and rubbed the inside with his finger to get rid of the stain. THIS IS NOT ITALIAN COFFEE CULTURE. Disgusting.

Could be an amazing little cafe, but it's just so frustrating waiting in the queue. I don't know why, but this cafe and Sunderland cafe have something in common : long waiting times. The staff are good, but maybe there should be one more on at at least peak times

Everyone is SO slow in this store. It hasn’t been a single time that it took me less that 10-15min to get a coffee to go. You need to hire more people and train them better.

i do always love cafe nero but this one was particularly dirty, i was very put off. i concluded at the end of my stay that someone who seemed to be the manager was unacceptably rude to both staff and customers. the only enjoyable moment was the lovely ginger girl who served me.

Really good coffee and better pastries. This is a great spot to grab a bite and drink, just down the street from the train station. Friendly staff. The contactless card reader was broken the day I was there, but other than that minor inconvenience, a very nice, clean, yummy, and friendly spot to be alone or to gather with friends.

There is an extremely rude waiter! He is a waiter who is older with white/grey hair and glasses! There is a way to speak to people and he clearly does not understand how to speak to someone with respect! He told my friend to leave very rudely and lectured him about how he was 'watching him for the past four hours'. I understand where he could potentially be coming from but the tone he used was extremely condescending and rude.

Have been a fan of Caffe Nero for years and the products continue to have the same appeal and standard. This one was let down by the level of service, with only one person behind the counter. He was polite enough and knew what he was doing, but more client-facing staff needed to improve the delivery time.

Employees had an argued on the front of us. The man probably told in polite way one lady that she did mistake during cafe making process but she started a fighting. The true was that her cafe was terrible and we ask for the replacement.

Very good coffee and tasty hot sandwiches. Perfect for a speedy breakfast on the go.

I go to this cafe literally everyday but today first time I had really bad experience with the staff the new staff very rude and not very friendly with the customers just gives you weird look if you ask for something and I ordered online on the app and I went there to collect it and they said it’s not in our system but even I showed them the order number and the time on my cafe Nero app but they talked back very badly in a bad tone. Rather than helping they were just like in a rush to close the cafe while the customers coming and the timing says it’s closed at 8 PM. 24/06/2022

The location is good but the rest was disappointing. Completely inexperienced barista and the cookies were not crumbly but spongy.

So, their coffee is pretty good but the staff was really rude to me and laughed very rudely at my order. Its not like it was a crazy order either, all I asked was for a latte with vanilla and hazelnut cause i like my coffee to be a little sweeter but as soon as I ordered this, both of the staff started laughing at me and acting really judgmental. I was being super nice too, saying sorry for the longer list of ingredients in the coffee and saying please and everything. But they just looked at each other and laughed at me and my order. Kind of mean if you ask me. So, if you dont want people to judge you for your coffee order, laugh rudely at you, and act like a mean girl from high school don’t go to this location.

Terrible. Just walked by at 7:15. The door was locked. A handwritten sign indicating 7:30 was taped above the store hours sign that indicated 6:30. Decided to walk around. Bought pastries from Gail’s bakery and kill time in Tesco’s. Considered buying coffee in Gail’s or the Starbuck’s but I really love Nero’s. Went back to this Nero’s and the handwritten sign had been changed to a 7:45 opening time—NOT COOL. What kind of business does this?? Things happen…but to change the time again?? Very unprofessional
