Although not an extreme regular I have been using Cable maybe once a month for about 7 years as I live nearby. Today when I went in the shop was empty, there were two guys behind the cash register, one very tall, about 6'5"and one shorter, unshaven with a baseball cap. They continue their conversation while I stand waiting to place my order. After about maybe 30 seconds the tall guy acknowledged me and took my order for a flat white. The other guy went and started stacking kilo bags of coffee on the shelf behind the coffee machine. I stood there for a little while thinking maybe the guy in the baseball cap didn't make coffees. Another customer came in and the tall guy took her order. The baseball cap was still very slowly stacking the shelf. Perhaps two or three minutes had passed by now, no one had started to make my coffee. I decided to sit down and wait. The tall guy tells baseball cap that he needs two coffees and baseball cap at last starts to make them. I have now been in the shop at least 5-6 minutes. I hear the brewing process going on and baseball cap is heating the milk. At this point they continue their conversation and baseball cap is standing with the milk jug in his hand. After a few more seconds of waiting I lose patience, get up, go to the counter and ask if they are going to make my coffee or continue their conversation. Baseball cap says that if I don't have time to wait for a good coffee to be made it is not his problem, (his actual words). I take the coffee, and say that I have been coming to Cable for a number of years and I will never be back. Baseball cap says "Ciao". I leave, boiling with rage. That Ciao eh! The coffee was good though. My wife can't understand what took me so long.

Visited here on Sunday 30th October with family. The food was fantastic. Started with oysters (which were amazing) cream cheese with tomato on toast, cod cheeks and langoustines. Followed by pheasant pie, fish pie, bone on rib with delicious chips. The setting is beautiful and the staff very attentive. Highly recommended 👌

He estado en Prince Albert muchas veces, normalmente una pinta de Guinness es parte de mis rituales de compras del mercado Brixton de los sábados. Ish, el jefe regular de seguridad y su joven colega (lo siento, no sé su nombre - bien parecido con las rastas) estaban allí para intervenir cuando alguien hizo comentarios inapropiados sobre mi amigo, y asegurarse de que la brigada de jerseys de Navidad se comportara. I've been here a few times before and it's been pleasant enough but today we were served by the rudest, most incompetent person who made the worst Bloody Mary both me and my friend have ever tasted!

I visited here with my husband on Friday 23rd September 2022. Could not stay. Toilets were absolutely disgusting. Could not bring myself to order food or drink and we left. Our search for a clean, hygienic toilet continued.

Vine a Tottenham para una cita en la Cooperativa Directores de Funerarias, así que estaba muy contento de encontrar este café de 5 estrellas con clasificación de higiene cerca. Lo siento por los que viven aquí, pero, aparte del increíble estadio, justo en la calle, encontré el Tottenham bastante sombrío, así que este café salvó vidas. Solo vine por un capuchino, pero la cafetería estaba impecablemente limpia con personal atento. Entró un grupo de trabajadores y el café parecía acomodar una variedad de gustos, una hamburguesa con queso y arroz por ejemplo. Recomiendo encarecidamente este café.

Komme regelmäßig hier her…der service wird von woche zu woche schlechter. 4 kellnerinnen stehen um die bar herum und man kann 20 minuten warten bis man bedient wird. Leider nicht mehr zu empfehlen

Comida sabrosa y buenas bebidas. Tuve un tiempo maravilloso con amigos y familiares. El personal fue encantador y servicial.

Fui a Whelans el domingo pasado para una cena familiar. Pedí bebidas antes de la cena en el bar. Tuve que enviar 2 pintas de vuelta ya que el Cruzcampo era inbebible. Pedidos entrantes y comidas principales. Las comidas principales llegaron antes de los entrantes. La mayoría de nosotros comimos el asado que se puso luke caliente. Muy decepcionado con nuestra experiencia como algunos de nuestra familia estaban aquí de vacaciones.

Visitado para las celebraciones de cumpleaños de amigos durante el verano, en una tarde cálida pero muy húmeda. Fue genial tener un área para nosotros para que pudiéramos extendernos y mezclarnos y no tener que preocuparnos por cuidar nuestras pertenencias demasiado de cerca. Disfrutamos de buena comida y servicio. Algunas bebidas no eran posibles debido a problemas de aprovisionamiento que siempre es un poco irritante en un bar, pero ¿qué se puede hacer. En un momento nos sirvieron un tequila y coca en lugar de un vodka y coca. Esto se rectificó rápidamente en el bar (una vez que lo encontré) y estaban felices de que guardáramos la bebida incorrectamente hecha, así como el reemplazo. Nos mojamos moviéndonos entre el bar/inodoros y nuestra zona de estar bajo la lluvia ya que los toldos no cubren toda la ruta, así que estábamos agradecidos con la opción de servicio de mesa. Me encanta que es dog friendly y la vista del canal. No tanto el número de niños presentes, pero eso es una preferencia personal. Lo visitaría de nuevo, pero no en un día previsto para los monzones!

3 kids & 6 adults fed and watered for not very much money at all. Good quality roast, fish & chips and great service. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Thanks to all.
