The Ox & Gate in Brent

Fui a Whelans el domingo pasado para una cena familiar. Pedí bebidas antes de la cena en el bar. Tuve que enviar 2 pintas de vuelta ya que el Cruzcampo era inbebible. Pedidos entrantes y comidas principales. Las comidas principales llegaron antes de los entrantes. La mayoría de nosotros comimos el asado que se puso luke caliente. Muy decepcionado con nuestra experiencia como algunos de nuestra familia estaban aquí de vacaciones.

Ox & Gate is a great spot to watch any sports available on the television. The seat where I sat looked like it's seen better days. I sampled the margherita pizza and it's fair to say absolutely nothing to write home about.

A young waiter employed at the establishment exhibited discourteous behavior when a customer inquired about the ingredients that may trigger an allergic reaction in a cocktail drink. The waiter responded with a statement “ This doesn’t make me happy.” that conveyed displeasure, despite the customer's friendly demeanor. The waiter also displayed insincere smiles and demonstrated discriminatory tendencies. The establishment offered a concealed menu with an uncooperative attitude. The drinks lacked passion, and the burgers had an inconsistent taste in each layer, rendering them unworthy of their price. It may be more advantageous to procure ingredients from a supermarket and prepare the meal oneself. The overall customer experience was abysmal.

Eu adorei o lugar. Fiquei surpreso por conseguir ser atendido em portugues, já que meu ingles não é muito bom. Voltaria novamente.

Awful from the minute we got in there, I booked a table for my family, 2 people got there food after 50 minutes, chicken with cheese slices on the top, kids got burnt pizzas, even the guy serving them looked embarrassed to hand them over, the jacket potato’s were inedible, how can u go wrong with a jacket potato? I asked for the manager,he finally came out, and what a rude man he was, we defiantly won’t be going back there, it’s a shame as it used to be such a good pub.

This is a lovely pub, perfect for watching all kinds of sports while enjoying a delicious meal. Staff are wonderful and food portions are generous and good value. Selection of drinks is also great. Would highly recommend.

A lovely comfortable bar that is very nicely decorated. It has multiple large screen tv’s so is perfect for sports fans. Had the chicken wings which were very tasty and a delicious ‘hunters chicken’ sandwich . Victoria behind the bar made us feel very welcome and we’ll definitely be back.

Very disappointed today, three of our Sunday roasts needed to be sent back as very cold. When they returned it was still partly cold, Yorkshire pudding was as hard as a rock. The fourth roast beef we heard was tough. We were informed chef had only not long started there and was learning the ropes.

Very friendly staff who were helpful with requests. Lovely bbq food and quick service. Pub is big and well kept. New owners looking to improve the pub.

One of the best Sunday roast that I have had for a long time well done for a fantastic work JEFFERSON (the chef). Also, Very friendly staff (shout out of PEDRO and all the girls behind the bar)

Went back to watch the rugby , England and Ireland, website says st Patrick's weekend offer , half price Guinness, no it was just for last night said bar manager, showed him the webpage , reluctantly let me have it as shown on website, when has a weekend offer only lasted one night. Bar staff not very interested in serving you? , despite the place being lightly occupied with people , probably 1/4 full at most , been coming here over the years perhaps a change of venue might be in order .

St Patrick's Day, website says band ? , football, Nottingham forest v Newcastle United, racing tv ? , asked if they would put football on ? , said yes and didn't, if l had known l wouldn't of bothered travelling to here , very poor level of service.

Amazing staff lovely environment and the food and drink were brilliant . Really lovely pub cannot wait to return .

I was visiting locals who live in the area and visited this pub three times during the week I was in London. I enjoyed the food and beer. The management allowed us to host a party with extended family and allowed us a section of the pub to socialize. It was wonderful.
