I had free coffee and the guy didn’t like it.Such a bad behaviour from the guy named HAMZA

I’ve been a regular here for ages, so today’s visit was a real let-down. I paid £7.05 for my food and drink but accidentally handed over £8(6-50pens ,a £2 coin and a £1 coin). Hamza only gave me back 45p—and when I politely asked for the remaining 50p, he started arguing, asking why I’d given too much and suggesting I had “no sense.” In the end, he refused to return the rest of my change. It was by far the worst customer service I’ve experienced here. Please check the receipt. He declare 8 pounds .

Terrible staff. Utterly rude. This lady called Anda was extremely rude when me and my mother came inside 2 days ago. This is the first and the last time im visiting that place. My mum is disabled and she wanted to use the restroom first in an emergency before we order so we could sit down and order something. I asked Anda to give me the code for the toilet key she replied to me with an attitude no you have to order first, i explained to her twice or 3 times my mum needs to use the toilet first so we could order and know what we decide on. She was very horribly rude. If not racist she was insisting on giving me attitude and replying to me no you have to order first???! Like what kind of disrespect is this when i told you give me the code for my mum to use the toilet while i order from you ??? I said ok i didnt want to cause an issue infront of my mum especially that ANDA gave me a fake name when i asked her for her name she said her name was “Lindy”😂🧐🤯 only for her to notice I moved my eyes to her shirt to see it says clearly ANDA not Linda WOW did she think i was stupid? Im not going to say anymore so she doesnt lose her job but if my mum was not there trust me I was not going to stay quiet to the disrespect i received from “Lindy” she needs to be sorted out asap.

This is a clean place, always kept tidy and in check by the staff; always well-stocked, too. The team members are very polite, friendly, highly knowl3dgeable in what they do, and they make a great coffee, too. The downsides are that the place is rather small (seating 20 people at best) and the food is not that great -- this is standard for Costa, and it has nothing to do with this place itself. No parking spaces, yes toilets, yes accessible entrance. Always great for a cosy, albeit sometimes noisy, place to meet and grab a coffee.

My family and I were subjected to what we believe was unfair and discriminatory treatment by two staff members, Maria (a Polish woman) and Hamza. After a long journey, my family members needed to use the restroom. Understanding that restrooms are reserved for paying customers, we ordered four drinks and were served in paper cups. when asked they mentioned they only serve in paper cups While waiting in line for the restroom, we observed that white two couples and another white man entered the store and used the facilities without being stopped by staff. However, when I was in line Behind the last guy that entered the store , Maria suddenly stated that the man in front of me would be the last person allowed to use the restroom. When I questioned why my family and I were being denied access while others were allowed, Maria claimed she needed to clean the restroom, though she had not spoken to anyone else about complaints regarding cleanliness. This selective enforcement of store policy appeared to unfairly target my family and me due to our Indian-Asian ethnicity. When I confronted Maria and Hamza about this discriminatory behavior, they were extremely rude, raised their voices at us, and became defensive. Additionally, another man, who Hamza identified as his brother, became aggressive, pointing at my brothers and me in an intimidating manner. Hamza even threatened to call the police and mentioned that the CCTV is being audio recorded , despite the fact that we had done nothing wrong. We find this treatment unacceptable and discriminatory. If your store policies are meant to be enforced, they should be applied equally to all customers, regardless of ethnicity. I urge Costa Coffee to review the CCTV footage and audio recording from the time of this incident to confirm our account of what transpired. Additionally, we have the receipt from our purchase as proof that we were paying customers. I expect a formal response from Costa Coffee regarding this matter and a commitment to ensuring that such incidents do not happen again. Discriminatory practices have no place in customer service, and I hope that necessary actions are taken to address this issue. I look forward to your prompt response.

The man working on the till was so disinterested in serving customers

They are charging for ketchup and prices are to high you should go to the pret or Starbucks.

Really badly managed and sullen rude staff. Must be one of those dodgy Costa franchises. They serve coffee in takeaway cups to save washing their porcelain cups, even when you eat in paying £8 for two cups. Toilet is boarded up as 'out of order' to save them cleaning the toilets (a lie). No napkins on the sugar table. Tables not cleared or cleaned. Horrible. Should have had coffee in Greggs or McDonald's across the street if I wanted this experience.

Visiting family in London and enjoy coming out here in the mornings for a cup of coffee with my brother in law. The female staff are very friendly and courteous whereas the only male member apparently the manager is dour and abrasive. The place is very clean and always packed.

0/5 star! Food and Service: N/A The state of the restroom in this place was absolutely disgusting! Floor is drenched with god-knows-what, used toilet roll paper littering the floor, a USED baby nappy, ON THE FLOOR! And no toilet roll in the dispenser... This place needs the health inspector!

Today I went to this comfy cafe and I had a delicious Latte. I wanted to thank two persons named Leta and Maria for their hospitality. ❤

Hasan i didn’t get the name but guy with glasses on shift with one girl on 1/10/24 Tuesday he was was rude and we are paying extra for dining there were customer sitting in the store without food I asked him to get me a seat and he said you have to find for your self I ordered a pron sandwich with hot chocolate and a mac cheese I even don’t have. A tray and i am paying extra

I just visited with my friends one of your costa next to Wembley centeral we just sit on the table in the corner ELENI came to our table and talk to us rudely to clean the table and when we told her you can't talk to customers in this way she just said I don't care about customers

Great place, staff is very nice and professional. I like having the same staff members for years. The only issue is the place is so busy but small so often there is no space to seat thta's way is 4 starts only from atmosphere

We went in for a coffee. Staff were friendly. However there was a spillage and the staff member used the blue cloth to clean the tables, and then the floor. As far as I cooked see she did not change the cloth and proceeded to clean the counter tops. I know costa employees don't need hygiene training as they don't technically touch the food but this was gross.

Got great vibes from this place. The staff are attentive and have personality. Good seating and of course the Costa menu and options are great. The large Cappuccino seemed Mega sized for some reason. Had walnut cake .Mmm.

I witnessed an embarrassing scene today at the Costa Cafe in Wembley Central. An employee ( Indian, or other nationality, you can check the afternoon shift, the incident took place around 5.30pm) constantly offended a customer who wet her napkin (probably, she was hot at the time) and got her palms wet. From that point on your employee started criticizing and insulting her until they got up and left because she had spilled a few drops of water. Before the scene with this customer, they were equally nasty to other customers before her. Such an employee will bankrupt you and put you to shame. From today on, I will no longer be your customer.

I have been working for 3 years in this neighborhood of Wembley, I always went in to have a hot chocolate. Today I didn't want to go into Costa on the other side there is another cafe I decided to shop there but there are no months to rest I went out and put my coffee on the Costa table until I placed my bag on the bicycle a man came out shouting that he shouldn't be using his table it was 8 am today is a holiday there was no one outside inside if they opened when they saw that this man was insulting me and leave him alone he is there for 5 minutes all the employees They came out that you shouldn't use tables from other stores, all the customers are idiots, they are me for not seeing that they were insulted, I left I realized that they are all bitter

One of the best staff I ever met in Costa. Really polite and considerate. One of the staff..Maria attended me very politely. Being a barista myself, Having such positivity is a source of motivation. Maria and Hamza..served the best coffee.

This is such an odd coffee shop. I normally tend to get on with members of a local coffee shop if I move to an area and go to the same one everyday. I make the same order on a daily basis but on at least 1 out of 3 occasions, the staff get it wrong and don't seem to understand why I'm frustrated as a customer. Bizarre.

Visiting London and stayed at the Travelodge. Costa coffee is right there and Joanna and her staff were excellent. Coffee was made very well and they do the milk right! Latte art was on point. The second time I went back in there Joanna remembered my order right away and was very helpful. I went to wash my hands but the bathroom was occupied, so I started to walk out. Joanna asked if she could help and offered me hand sanitizer. Customer service was on point as was the coffee making skills. Most chain coffee shops just add hot milk to your espresso shot so I term these places “emergency coffee” as it’s not done right, but here, it is done right. Well done and thanks!!

People use this coffee house to rest . Many tables were taken but I noticed they did not order anything.

I ordered online for collection before 45 mins but they don’t have a regular breakfast product and they didn’t inform me and I am literally hurry for going to my work and when I reached for collecting my order that time they said they don’t have a product and there is a no any other alternative option for that. They show me some sort of sweets but I am not interested in that I told one of the member but she don’t want to listen me and I denied for 3 times but she just try so give me sweets. And even there is a no responsible person who solve the problem and they just wasted my time and I lost my train as well. Even they don’t have an anything to give me as proof that I didn’t collecting an order.Its a not about money but it’s about time why we are putting a order for collection just because we don’t want to waste our time. She just marked I collected my order which I seen in my app once I reached at underground station. Even they don’t have any complaint box or anything for complain. So at last I waste my money, time and train. On the top of that I missed my breakfast as well. Very bad experience.

Nice place to work and have coffee

3 grown security guards wrestle and detain a teen age boy (15-17) to ground. He bleeding from his mouth and asking to let him go. We later found he just charged his phone at costa coffee. That is not a way to treat a human being.

They never open on time, display/website says they open at 6.00am on weekdays But last week couple of times when i got there, it was closed, if they can’t open on the time that’s mentioned on their website, they need to change the timing cos what they are doing is false advertising

Staff were lovely but so poorly neglected the state of the toilet. Considering it was quiet at the time of our visit in the evening and they had time to talk and refill sugar sachets they should have taken care to clean and maintain the toilet. A code is needed to use the restroom so it’s not like anybody can simply walk in and abuse the facilities. This was the most disgusting toilet I’ve ever seen! I felt so sorry for any parents needing it for baby changing or disabled users who would have struggled to avoid the mess! Awful! We visited on the 19/01/2023

When it comes to Costa it’s really hard to rate as coffe nearly taste the same everywhere I guess the 5 star rating is because it has plenty of indoor and out door seating arrangements and the service is fairly quick

A comfy place for the right coffee

I had to literally hold both hands up gesturing to finally get one of the many people behind the counters attention. The hot chocolate was luke warm and the toasted sandwich cooked only on one side, basically it was a NO for me which is disappointing as the service and food are bot usually on point!

I went at the till today and I asked for a normal hot chocolate with no cream on top the guy at the till was very nice. The problem was the barista that make the hot chocolate. I did ask with no cream she put the cream after I told her was with no cream she went to the sink and take off the cream with the spoon and put extra chocolate after that I seen her I told her I asked you no cream she said back to me in a very rude tone that wasn’t cream after she just remove with the spoon. She was very arrogant and rude she supposed to apologies instead of argue and raise her voice. When blatantly she made a mistake and I have clearly tell her that I can’t have it any cream. If wasn’t that rude wasn’t no problem but I believe people like this should change job because people with intolerant can get sick. It’s a shame what happen today. If was 0 star I would rate as ZERO.

I was very disappointed with the service, my mum came in to get a hot drink (she had the costa app and there’s a scheme that literally gives you a free drink) so she wanted to redeem it and the server/cashier didn’t even ask her properly and was accusing her of just asking for a ‘large drink’ because it’s free. It was extremely insulting as we normally do buy drinks from costa and the scheme literally is for customers to redeem a drink and my mum was talked to very rudely.

The drinks are well-made but the shop is busy almost all the time and there's barely any chance to sit down. But overall I recommend

It’s the time to end this joke, delete Costa app & never buy Costa coffee from any place. I’m not a big fan of coffee but I sometimes use my own mug to not use the plastic cups etc. I think this time Costa app shows me that I have 2 free drinks after collecting 8 cups. I’m not blind yes it’s 2 free drink not one However, I asked the gentleman near the tile to give me the drinks so I was with my daughter. He scanned My Costa app code, he doesn’t scan the rewards however he thought that I have only one free drink not 2 free drinks. When he scanned my Costa app code the rewards will disappear so he wasn’t able to see in the system what my reward was. I have explained to him politely but he said that I have only one then he added that he is not able to see it in his system. I felt embarrassed in front of the people. I am talking about the principle that this is my right. I do not care what people will think about me because what is the point? He wants me to say “yes you are right then I pay me and walk” Well it’s clearly wasting your time, feeling embarrassed in front of the people regarding a reward from Costa app that you are not able to claim. The most appalling experience received by Aleksander as a manager and Marcin as her assistant. It was so disgusting the toilets and the service was appalling. I was asked to clean mess made by children and we were racially profiled and spoken to rudely and the behaviours of staff was completely appalling and unacceptable. A major complaint has been filed, love the coffees Costa sells but the staff do no justice to the shop. They were totally unprofessional, spoke in their native language, ridiculed and laughed and talked with no emphaty. This experience was mentally challenging and I will never ever visit this particular Costa. Aleksander was the supposed manager and she shouted and spoke out of place to us as we couldn't understand why but we strongly believe race had everything to do with it. She had no right to discriminate and do all she did in front of small children. Utterly disgusted by this, not acceptable

Inhuman staff frequently got complaint about not give permission to use washroom which is basic facilities when any restaurant has dine in. Also staff is doing resist behaviour seen by my own eyes.

13/01/22 Went into this Costa twice today for a drink and initially to use the washroom facilities which were both times in an unpleasant condition. The second time the washroom was not working at all; the STORE MANAGER with the name starting with J impolitely and unprofessionally said it, repeating it and asking at the end ‘so what are u looking at?’ even tho everyone had happily understood that, not to mention that she was rude to her colleague when they both went to check the washroom. Not very happy with my experience overall, I gave two stars just for the hot chocolate which was nicely made by a gentleman working there. SMILING AND BEING POLITE does not harm, especially when willing to give a good costumer experience. :)

I was served by 'Hamza'. He was very rude and he was on his phone texting or something and not even listening to the customers when they tell him the order so he keeps on asking again and again. I felt sorry for the other girl who was working with him. She was not happy working with him.

If I could give it a 0 stars I would I’ve been always going to the Costa in Wembley Central but no longer go there after yesterday, on the 23/10/2021 in Costa Coffee in Wembley Central a woman employee working there her name starts with stephaniki or similar I was ordering 3 hot chocolates & a gingerbread latte with chocolate muffin & Raspberry & Almond Bake. She was rude, not polite at all with an attitude & not patient the employees were talking among theirselves in their language. She was acting like I was in the wrong shop & didn’t want to serve me. She kept on giving me dirty looks. Everyone behind me in the queue saw how she was acting towards me. I felt so belittled, I’m a working person & I spend my hard earned money in there. Never have I been treated this way in Costa. They need to get Fluent English speaking individuals working there who speak with clear English with good manners, and who are friendlier, I couldn’t even understand what she was saying half of the time.

It's great to have a decent coffee shop in the high street. It was very busy when we came on a Sunday morning. I had a Cortado which was very well made and tasted nice. Toilets were clean too which is a major plus point.

I went here today with my carer and he got me a large takeaway latte . We were going to go to Weather spoons but ran out of time so my carer got me a large latte for takeaway what cost him £3.35. £3.35 for a large latte thats an outrageous price . I say "Very expensive and a rip off." Apart from the rip off latte the service and the queue was quick . Only reason why went here as ran out of time , If I had time I would have had a sit in unlimited coffee from Weather Spoons for only 99 p.

29 June 2021, c.4pm - If I could give 0 stars I would. Never have I encountered such hostile and aggressive service - unfriendly, unhelpful and discriminatory. Three baristas working there, seemed to only care about blocking people from using their one and only restroom facility, as opposed to serving customers. Even when it was paying customers who wanted to use the facility. Things escalated so quickly another customer had to intervene to tell the staff to stop bullying my mum. One gentleman asked to use the facility because he had a disability, to which one of the staff members (young guy) said ‘prove it’. I will never be returning and strongly discourage anyone from going. Costa - you should really better train your staff!

Business seems to have picked up after Covid-19. That said, there's hardly any decent food to have. The only things on display were some cakes and banana bread. We ordered banana bread and coffee. Big mistake. The banana bread was dry and crumbly. The bits of banana within the bread were rock-hard. A notice says they clean every table after each use. While I was there I saw three tables being cleaned. It was a poor piece of work--about 70% of the surface was cleaned and no attempt at cleaning the edges. Overall a poor experience.

Costa is a place which never disappoints me anytime I am visiting. Try the Ruby Hot Chocolate.

One of my most favourite coffee places. Professional and polite nice workers, clean toilet, nice tables places with comfortable chairs. I enjoy spend coffee time here.
