Costa in Brent

One of the best staff I ever met in Costa. Really polite and considerate. One of the staff..Maria attended me very politely. Being a barista myself, Having such positivity is a source of motivation. Maria and Hamza..served the best coffee.

This is such an odd coffee shop. I normally tend to get on with members of a local coffee shop if I move to an area and go to the same one everyday. I make the same order on a daily basis but on at least 1 out of 3 occasions, the staff get it wrong and don't seem to understand why I'm frustrated as a customer. Bizarre.

Nicely prepared and there is a sofa in the corner that feels just like home 🥰

Visiting London and stayed at the Travelodge. Costa coffee is right there and Joanna and her staff were excellent. Coffee was made very well and they do the milk right! Latte art was on point. The second time I went back in there Joanna remembered my order right away and was very helpful. I went to wash my hands but the bathroom was occupied, so I started to walk out. Joanna asked if she could help and offered me hand sanitizer. Customer service was on point as was the coffee making skills. Most chain coffee shops just add hot milk to your espresso shot so I term these places “emergency coffee” as it’s not done right, but here, it is done right. Well done and thanks!!

People use this coffee house to rest . Many tables were taken but I noticed they did not order anything.

I ordered online for collection before 45 mins but they don’t have a regular breakfast product and they didn’t inform me and I am literally hurry for going to my work and when I reached for collecting my order that time they said they don’t have a product and there is a no any other alternative option for that. They show me some sort of sweets but I am not interested in that I told one of the member but she don’t want to listen me and I denied for 3 times but she just try so give me sweets. And even there is a no responsible person who solve the problem and they just wasted my time and I lost my train as well. Even they don’t have an anything to give me as proof that I didn’t collecting an order.Its a not about money but it’s about time why we are putting a order for collection just because we don’t want to waste our time. She just marked I collected my order which I seen in my app once I reached at underground station. Even they don’t have any complaint box or anything for complain. So at last I waste my money, time and train. On the top of that I missed my breakfast as well. Very bad experience.

Coffee served in a paper cup, because the cups were dirty. Dirty tables and things.

Nice drinks and good staff but service a little slow. Wasn't in a hurry so didn't matter and nice outdoor seating also provided

I don’t remember her name because she didn’t wear name batch. I ordered two frappe’s. I told her my privilege card some how logged out.can you please discount for me? This is not about discount but She talked so rudely.

Nice place to work and have coffee

3 grown security guards wrestle and detain a teen age boy (15-17) to ground. He bleeding from his mouth and asking to let him go. We later found he just charged his phone at costa coffee. That is not a way to treat a human being.

They never open on time, display/website says they open at 6.00am on weekdays But last week couple of times when i got there, it was closed, if they can’t open on the time that’s mentioned on their website, they need to change the timing cos what they are doing is false advertising

Staff were lovely but so poorly neglected the state of the toilet. Considering it was quiet at the time of our visit in the evening and they had time to talk and refill sugar sachets they should have taken care to clean and maintain the toilet. A code is needed to use the restroom so it’s not like anybody can simply walk in and abuse the facilities. This was the most disgusting toilet I’ve ever seen! I felt so sorry for any parents needing it for baby changing or disabled users who would have struggled to avoid the mess! Awful! We visited on the 19/01/2023

When it comes to Costa it’s really hard to rate as coffe nearly taste the same everywhere I guess the 5 star rating is because it has plenty of indoor and out door seating arrangements and the service is fairly quick

A comfy place for the right coffee

I had to literally hold both hands up gesturing to finally get one of the many people behind the counters attention. The hot chocolate was luke warm and the toasted sandwich cooked only on one side, basically it was a NO for me which is disappointing as the service and food are bot usually on point!

I went at the till today and I asked for a normal hot chocolate with no cream on top the guy at the till was very nice. The problem was the barista that make the hot chocolate. I did ask with no cream she put the cream after I told her was with no cream she went to the sink and take off the cream with the spoon and put extra chocolate after that I seen her I told her I asked you no cream she said back to me in a very rude tone that wasn’t cream after she just remove with the spoon. She was very arrogant and rude she supposed to apologies instead of argue and raise her voice. When blatantly she made a mistake and I have clearly tell her that I can’t have it any cream. If wasn’t that rude wasn’t no problem but I believe people like this should change job because people with intolerant can get sick. It’s a shame what happen today. If was 0 star I would rate as ZERO.

I was very disappointed with the service, my mum came in to get a hot drink (she had the costa app and there’s a scheme that literally gives you a free drink) so she wanted to redeem it and the server/cashier didn’t even ask her properly and was accusing her of just asking for a ‘large drink’ because it’s free. It was extremely insulting as we normally do buy drinks from costa and the scheme literally is for customers to redeem a drink and my mum was talked to very rudely.

The drinks are well-made but the shop is busy almost all the time and there's barely any chance to sit down. But overall I recommend

Great friendly staff and good customer service. They are really good at moving the queue even with just 3 staff during busy hours. The coffee seems a little watery compared to other Costa I’ve been to and the lady was nice enough to redo it for me which is part of a good customer care.

Cashier said she wouldn't accept this £10 note as it's damaged and went to ask the manager if they could accept this, I just gave her a different £10 note.

It’s the time to end this joke, delete Costa app & never buy Costa coffee from any place. I’m not a big fan of coffee but I sometimes use my own mug to not use the plastic cups etc. I think this time Costa app shows me that I have 2 free drinks after collecting 8 cups. I’m not blind yes it’s 2 free drink not one However, I asked the gentleman near the tile to give me the drinks so I was with my daughter. He scanned My Costa app code, he doesn’t scan the rewards however he thought that I have only one free drink not 2 free drinks. When he scanned my Costa app code the rewards will disappear so he wasn’t able to see in the system what my reward was. I have explained to him politely but he said that I have only one then he added that he is not able to see it in his system. I felt embarrassed in front of the people. I am talking about the principle that this is my right. I do not care what people will think about me because what is the point? He wants me to say “yes you are right then I pay me and walk” Well it’s clearly wasting your time, feeling embarrassed in front of the people regarding a reward from Costa app that you are not able to claim. It’s poor services what’s a joke. To the staff who read this review It doesn’t matter what you think, your app is definitely deleted Have a lovely day :-)

You can't go there to have a good time to sit and take a break. Unfriendly stuff, they also let us now they can offer our coffee in takeaway cups cause they have staff shortage. I'm sorry that's not my problem

The most appalling experience received by Aleksander as a manager and Marcin as her assistant. It was so disgusting the toilets and the service was appalling. I was asked to clean mess made by children and we were racially profiled and spoken to rudely and the behaviours of staff was completely appalling and unacceptable. A major complaint has been filed, love the coffees Costa sells but the staff do no justice to the shop. They were totally unprofessional, spoke in their native language, ridiculed and laughed and talked with no emphaty. This experience was mentally challenging and I will never ever visit this particular Costa. Aleksander was the supposed manager and she shouted and spoke out of place to us as we couldn't understand why but we strongly believe race had everything to do with it. She had no right to discriminate and do all she did in front of small children. Utterly disgusted by this, not acceptable

Inhuman staff frequently got complaint about not give permission to use washroom which is basic facilities when any restaurant has dine in. Also staff is doing resist behaviour seen by my own eyes.

13/01/22 Went into this Costa twice today for a drink and initially to use the washroom facilities which were both times in an unpleasant condition. The second time the washroom was not working at all; the STORE MANAGER with the name starting with J impolitely and unprofessionally said it, repeating it and asking at the end ‘so what are u looking at?’ even tho everyone had happily understood that, not to mention that she was rude to her colleague when they both went to check the washroom. Not very happy with my experience overall, I gave two stars just for the hot chocolate which was nicely made by a gentleman working there. SMILING AND BEING POLITE does not harm, especially when willing to give a good costumer experience. :)

I was served by 'Hamza'. He was very rude and he was on his phone texting or something and not even listening to the customers when they tell him the order so he keeps on asking again and again. I felt sorry for the other girl who was working with him. She was not happy working with him.

If I could give it a 0 stars I would I’ve been always going to the Costa in Wembley Central but no longer go there after yesterday, on the 23/10/2021 in Costa Coffee in Wembley Central a woman employee working there her name starts with stephaniki or similar I was ordering 3 hot chocolates & a gingerbread latte with chocolate muffin & Raspberry & Almond Bake. She was rude, not polite at all with an attitude & not patient the employees were talking among theirselves in their language. She was acting like I was in the wrong shop & didn’t want to serve me. She kept on giving me dirty looks. Everyone behind me in the queue saw how she was acting towards me. I felt so belittled, I’m a working person & I spend my hard earned money in there. Never have I been treated this way in Costa. They need to get Fluent English speaking individuals working there who speak with clear English with good manners, and who are friendlier, I couldn’t even understand what she was saying half of the time.

It's great to have a decent coffee shop in the high street. It was very busy when we came on a Sunday morning. I had a Cortado which was very well made and tasted nice. Toilets were clean too which is a major plus point.

Ice coffee was too watery and tested more like coffee flavoured water, i was thoroughly disappointed.

I went here today with my carer and he got me a large takeaway latte . We were going to go to Weather spoons but ran out of time so my carer got me a large latte for takeaway what cost him £3.35. £3.35 for a large latte thats an outrageous price . I say "Very expensive and a rip off." Apart from the rip off latte the service and the queue was quick . Only reason why went here as ran out of time , If I had time I would have had a sit in unlimited coffee from Weather Spoons for only 99 p.

Ridiculously rude staff on my visit dated 24/07/2021 mid day. Had to explain what non dairy milk is. Staff needs to be more polite and patient when taking orders. Never coming back again.

29 June 2021, c.4pm - If I could give 0 stars I would. Never have I encountered such hostile and aggressive service - unfriendly, unhelpful and discriminatory. Three baristas working there, seemed to only care about blocking people from using their one and only restroom facility, as opposed to serving customers. Even when it was paying customers who wanted to use the facility. Things escalated so quickly another customer had to intervene to tell the staff to stop bullying my mum. One gentleman asked to use the facility because he had a disability, to which one of the staff members (young guy) said ‘prove it’. I will never be returning and strongly discourage anyone from going. Costa - you should really better train your staff!

Business seems to have picked up after Covid-19. That said, there's hardly any decent food to have. The only things on display were some cakes and banana bread. We ordered banana bread and coffee. Big mistake. The banana bread was dry and crumbly. The bits of banana within the bread were rock-hard. A notice says they clean every table after each use. While I was there I saw three tables being cleaned. It was a poor piece of work--about 70% of the surface was cleaned and no attempt at cleaning the edges. Overall a poor experience.

Costa is a place which never disappoints me anytime I am visiting. Try the Ruby Hot Chocolate.

One of my most favourite coffee places. Professional and polite nice workers, clean toilet, nice tables places with comfortable chairs. I enjoy spend coffee time here.

Apparently you can't take a seat in here without purchasing something. I went in the cafe and was waiting on a friend, as all the seats were occupied i stood by the high chairs until a table was vacated. I took a seat at the empty table and waited. While i was doing so, the man who was working at the time (13/12/20 approx. 11:15 am) comes up to me and ask me to vacate the seat because i hadn't purchased anything. I explained that i was waiting to meet a friend for a coffee and it makes no sense to start without the other party arriving. And he insisted i had to buy something to be having a seat. I made sure i arrive there a little early so i could get a seat, and this gentleman tells me i need to get in the queue to make a purchase. Also what difference does it make if i take a seat first and buy something later or buy something and sit there for hours together? The income is received either way. Quite disappointing. Maybe they should put up a board outside saying so.

Ok coffee could be a bit warmer though and very useful that it is near Train station. I would go there again.

When I ordered coffee there were no one at the counter to serve me for at least 5 minutes. And when I was seated one of the staff came to me and instead of ask me how may I help you she told me that you can not only seat hear if you not having anything. I was seated with my family after I ordered my coffee and cake, I was just waiting for my order to be ready.

Like the taste but 1 only had 1 awaiting customer and one been served and I still waited forever for 2 hot chocolates,especially when we were talking about ordering and picking up only drink around me

Allmost every morning I am having my coffee here, nice staff, nothing to be said, is Costa. For the all the ,, coneseours '' out there, don't forget that you buy just coffee not a flat.

I have been this morning in the Costa Coffee in Wembley Central, I cant left the opportunity to express my gratitude for so awesome treat that I have had for one staff. A young lady, with long blond hair (sorry can not see her name) who really made the extra mile for me from the first minute. Sweet greetings and very kind manners. 1 to 10...she got my 10.Thanks!!!

Costa is always great to have coffee

One of the Costa chains serving double machiatos the way I like it (just the right amount of milk rather than pouring over!!). But nothing special other than that. Also cleaner than most Costa I have visited, especially considering the number of customers they have everyday. Conveniently located for a quick coffee before catching my train.

Its a good venue to visit but it was too busy with a lot of patrons nursing empty coffee mugs.

Costa makes the best hot chocolate by far from all the high street cawfee shops.

Has been my go to shop before I moved. Went in today to be told they don't do hot chocolate with cherry syrup. So ordered a hazelnut hot chocolate instead. When my husband brought it to the table not only was it cold but was more cream then hot chocolate. When he'd taken it back the girl argued with him that it has to come with cream. The hazelnut hot chocolate was disgusting and cold. New staff again are useless and I will only go in if the older staff are on and no what there doing and have better customer service skills

The staff are wonderful. Small shop. You will struggle to find seating. It's usually busy often. Dont be afraid to ask staff for help especially with seating. They were most helpful and kind.
