I wouldn’t recommend this place. The menu was very limited, although a lovely setting and nice place to eat and clean the staff were incredibly selective on who to serve drinks to. I walked in to order drinks and despite being the first in they served 3 people behind me. I ended up walking out back to the table so my boyfriend tried thinking I was over exaggerating but the same thing happened to him and when he questioned it they said the others looked like they knew what they wanted straight -away. He was only glancing at the menu. We ended up leaving straight away.

What a find! This place makes the heart sing. The ethos, vibe and view make it somewhere you want to support and hang out all day and on top of that the food was absolutely sublime. Delicious wine. This is my new favourite place in London. I love everything Grow stands for. And they do it all so well. Vegetarian and Vegan options were strong - the butternut squash Wellington was absolutely delightful and so filling, another great thing about Grow - whole portions for full grown adults! This is a really special vision/endeavor/project for people that appreciate what's good.

We visited for live music on a Friday night. Would recommend booking a table as it gets deservedly busy! Our canal side table was lovely in the warm weather. The food ordering through the app was hassle free. Staff were friendly and helpful. Extremely tasty food and the drink selection is excellent. Especially loved the natural alternative to Aperol as I can’t normally have an Aperol spritz due to the colourings!

Small hidden gem with plenty of seating inside and outside. Greenhouse area away from main area for little extra privacy, mezzanine gallery that change art every month and great inside stage to enjoy live music. Tasty food, interesting playlist.

On our way to Abba I stumbled upon this place with some friends. The main Hackney Bridge kitchen area was packed and too busy and I spied this place over the canal. First impressions not good, security guard patting people down but we had a laugh with him anyway. Then down a dark damp passage and into a cross between a treehouse, a pub and a container. Probably not meant for oldies pushing 50 but we persevered with it. Ordered some strange food which I had no idea about. Crossed the fingers. And it was really tasty! The pitcher of beer went down well too. I'd recommend the place simply for the experience.

The live jazz bar by the canal is a must-visit for music lovers. The atmosphere is lively and the vibe is fantastic. The food is great and there is a wide variety of different choices available to suit all tastes. The best part is that there is a different live performance every day, so there's always something new to enjoy. The views from the bar are stunning, and it's the perfect place to relax and unwind after a long day. Overall, I highly recommend this bar to anyone who loves jazz music and wants to experience a great night out.

The security single out people based on their opinion. They are very aggressive and quite violent. I wouldn't recommend this venue because of the absolute wokeness of the clientele.

While Grow has a good location next to the river, the menu is very limited and astonishingly expensive £15 for a meze bowl (once you have paid extra for the dressing and one boiled egg!) and £9 for a very small wrap The food portions are certainly not generous and with drinks it was all very expensive for what felt like cheap, fairly bland, takeaway food. The staff are pretty off hand and the ordering app is basically poorly designed and difficult to use. I won't bother going again.

You wouldnt find this place by accident but well worth finding it. Really on top of Covid, super service and great food, nice beers and wine and lovely location by the canal.....it's just a really nice place and 100% we'll be back. They dont take tips so make a donation when you go on the app to order....be such a shame to lose such a nice place..

Beautiful garden by the canal, great for summer drinks and winter (hot) drinks, great music, chilled environment, friendly staff and wicked sweet potato fries. Will definitely be returning many times (weather permitting). Thanks!

The inside bar is scruffy, the outside seating is quirky with no order or system, the menu is limited and dishes take a while to arrive. It's also a little difficult to find. But the food was very, very tasty and cheap, the staff were really helpful and the music was really good. So I can't think of a better place to be on a sunny afternoon than sitting on the bank of the River Lea
