The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in East of England

Este lugar ha cambiado de manos desde la última vez que fui y ahora es un verdadero cracker. Fui con un grupo de amigos después de un trail run un sábado por la mañana y nos sentamos atrás en el patio. Todos tuvimos ENORMES platos de comida - ya sea pastel o un sándwich de desayuno - y todos estaban deliciosos. El café era spot on también - una calidad muy subestimada. Demasiados americanos amargados alrededor. Finalmente charlamos con uno de los propietarios y ella era amable y acogedor. Gran lugar para grupos de corredores y ciclistas, diría yo, así como aquellos que solo buscan un buen café y un bocado para comer en Sharnbrook!

We had a table of 8 for my 70th Birthday celebrations and I couldn’t have chosen a better place. I was a little apprehensive but as soon as I met Katherine (Owner) prior to our booking i was immediately drawn to the place. In regard to the food everything I ask for came out onto the table the food was amazing it was so delicious. We chose a Meze starter followed by Salmon, Shish Chicken and Lamb Skewers with the most delicious salads and vegetables and flat breads to die for, we also had Gorgeous Pavlova and a very varied Cheese Board for dessert the presentation was lovely, I honestly think Katherine old mke a boiled egg look pretty. Our food was served by Peter who assisted Catherine and he makes a very good Waiter. There was nothing we could fault and we definitely will be returning hopefully in the not too distant future. What a lovely little find. Visiting Colchester from Ipswich with my daughter and wanted a hot drink and a snack. We were wandering around and found this little gem. Small cafe. On sitting down we glanced at other tables and their food and we were tempted to rather than buy a sandwich or toastie we both had cheesy chilli jacket potatoes served with a little bowl of dressed salad and coleslaw. The service was both quick and friendly. The place had a nice relaxing atmosphere and some of the customers seemed to know the staff so it seems like they have returning customers. They also did a nice pot of tea.

Great salmon and cream cheese bagel and the best cup of coffee in Yarmouth (the son in law’s an aficionado and he rates it that highly, so that’ll do me) Really friendly staff, nice atmosphere. Top notch!

Went for breakfast this morning with a friend. Could not fault it 10/10. Sausage was amazing, lovely bacon and eggs cooked to perfection. People working there genuinely interested in how our experience was. Will definitely return

Thank you for a wonderful high tea to celebrate our daughter’s birthday. Tash really pulled out all the stops with customised, individual menus & an amazing spread of food. She accommodated all our dietary requirements, including a delicious vegan sausage roll.

My friend and I visited this little gem this morning for a quick coffee, we were so pleasantly surprised how beautifully decorated the coffee shop was, the place was so clean, the owners were so welcoming and kind. We had a taste of their freshly baked banana cake which was divine. I'll be definitely be visiting them more and highly recommend it ❤️.

Great spot to pick up light bites and tea: coffee/ or even a smoothie on your way to a walk in the beautiful surrounding countryside.

Great couples bar - landlady is very friendly does great tricks with beer mats and corkscrew - never seen anything like it

We are a local football team and we visited in 3/11/2024 a lovely business run by really polite staff and also has a wide range of foods to cater for everyone and reasonably priced and I definitely be visiting again for sure 10/10 and also a very clean businesses and lovely hotdogs

Lovely place to grab a coffee, drink or one of there huge cakes or biscuits. Nice staff, reasonably priced

Mama D is my hero, the food is fantastic! Prices are exceptional and the quality of food is outstanding. I recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment.

I just wanted to write a review to say thank you, you were very friendly and helpful when my daughter wouldn’t sit near the kitchen as she’s scared of fire. You made us feel very welcome, the staff are brilliant and so friendly as was all the other customers in there too. We found it by accident and found out from other customers it is part of the church, such a friendly and warm welcoming place which was a nice surprise when we only called in for a cup of tea on the way to the town from the park.

Lovely setting we got there at 12pm and they had already run of the dish we wanted to order. Very reasonable price not sure I would go back.
