Lovely setting we got there at 12pm and they had already run of the dish we wanted to order. Very reasonable price not sure I would go back.

We come to Suffolk twice a year for a holiday, found this place about 6 years ago and were very pleased with our find, we have visited it now about 10 times so we thought it was about time we recommended it to anyone who is passing by, wonderful food everything is cooked fresh , pretty extensive menu from full meals , snacks, and delicious homemade (watch the calories) cakes, very pleasant service and always greeted with a friendly smile, tucked away adjacent to the riding school which has two or three different animals to see, plus, there is a massive glass panel through which one can watch novice riders being schooled, we shall be there again later this year, superb place well worth a visit if you are in the area.

What a little gem. Found randomly today and not only were we given a very friendly welcome but I had a huge, proper baked potato with the most generous and delicious mushroom stroganoff, salad and coleslaw, and a very nice latte made with soya milk. The stroganoff was especially nice and I enjoyed every mouthful. A brilliant place to take the family, and I bet they do amazing kids parties. We shall return.

Eleven of us called in for lunch with no warning today. We were given a warm welcome by the owner and were served quickly. No mean feat for a crowd this size. Not only that but the food was delicious. I had steak pie, potatoes and vegetables and a coffee for only £4.95. Highly recommended. As a bonus we had a view of a camel grazing in a field with a donkey. Not something you see every day.

Called to check menu and said we might come for lunch. When we arrived the lady welcomed us and had reserved a table by the window, so friendly and welcoming. We all had jacket potatoes and the fillings were wonderful as well as generous. I had chicken stroganoff which had so much chicken in a delicious sauce, lovely salad and so reasonably priced. We didn't have room for a piece of cake, but these looked superb. Will definitely return.

Very helpful, friendly staff. Happy to accomadate children with high chairs available. Well behaved dogs on leads welcomed. Good country cooking for an excellent price. A great place to take the family. They do take away cakes to order and even prepare evening meals for guests staying on site in the self catering holiday Lodge. Open on Sundays too. Closed Mondays when the children are at school but during half terms and holdiays they are open seven days a week.

We came to visit the cafe because the present owner used to run Thorham Forge Teashop and as we were always pleased with her service there we thought that we would like to go and support her in her new venture. The cafe is at the entrance of a riding school and camping site. It is very clean and tidy with a raised outside seating area with views over the paddocks and the resident camel! Inside boasts views over the indoor riding school too! The menu is quite extensive covering breakfasts, lunches and light snacks as well as a good children's menu too, all at very reasonable prices. The drive out here was very scenic too! A real country find! They are happy to accommodate groups, including cyclists, just phone ahead first.
