Mustard Seed in Epping Forest

We had a table of 8 for my 70th Birthday celebrations and I couldn’t have chosen a better place. I was a little apprehensive but as soon as I met Katherine (Owner) prior to our booking i was immediately drawn to the place. In regard to the food everything I ask for came out onto the table the food was amazing it was so delicious. We chose a Meze starter followed by Salmon, Shish Chicken and Lamb Skewers with the most delicious salads and vegetables and flat breads to die for, we also had Gorgeous Pavlova and a very varied Cheese Board for dessert the presentation was lovely, I honestly think Katherine old mke a boiled egg look pretty. Our food was served by Peter who assisted Catherine and he makes a very good Waiter. There was nothing we could fault and we definitely will be returning hopefully in the not too distant future. Fantastic evening of cocktails and tapas. Fabulously planned evening. Very warm welcome and some of the best cocktails and tapas I've ever had. Very friendly relaxed atmosphere where you can eat and drink freely and leave the table if needs be. Met a great group of people. Will definitely go again!

I have attended five evenings at Mustard Seed and all have been excellent. If you have any worries about this being too stuffy or unfriendly think again. Its a wonderful welcome from a fabulous host Katherine and her lovely family. Whatever food she is cooking at the supper club you will enjoy it. I love the fact there are so many different types of supper clubs, with food of the world to enjoy. In the summer the doors open to garden and in the winter its cosy in the dinning room. You make new friends and no one is left out. I attended a tapas and cocktail supper club last week. The cocktails were out of this world and the tapas dishes were all very tasty. Everyone is welcome and you could actually come along on your own.

A charming greeting by Peter. Offered a glass of fizz on arrival. 20 people dining, in the beautiful living/pop up dining room. The theme of the night was a Hygge. Delicious canapés to start, followed by fish cakes with tarragon. Then a main of mouth watering tender pork belly with the best ever crackling. The whole evening was relaxed, fun and very professional with an intimate feel. Katherine has a gentle friendly approach. Enjoyed her short explanation of the menu theme and of course the incredible meal she produced. Thought I might feel a little strange being in someone's home, but needn't have worried. Great new experience, that I can't wait to repeat. Thank you Katherine & Peter

We thoroughly enjoyed the Irish Night! 4 course themed meal which was delicious as always. Katherine takes pride in the quality and presentation of her food and both she and Peter, her husband, are very welcoming hosts. This time we had live music as well which added to the ambience. Great evening, thank you!

I have attended many supper clubs at mustard seed and have never been disappointed ... Always lovely food, lovely atmosphere, brilliant service and a very friendly welcome. These events are excellent value. I can highly recommend these supper clubs as a guaranteed good evening with good company and excellent food

A fantastic array of food, cooked to perfection. Excellent service from menu suggestions to serving on the night - cocktail mixing included! Nothing was too much trouble and great pride was taken in the delivery of such perfect food - have had great feedback from all of our guests and would not hesitate to recommend Mustard Seed! I'm only sorry I don't have another party lined up to use them again!

This was in a private house. We were a group of Rotarians celebrating St George's Day. Everyone had the set meal. The Mustard Seed is able to provide a full range of meals for any guests.

What a fabulous evening my daughter and I had at Mustard Seed. We first learnt how to make pasta - a really fun experience with Katherine explaining and helping all the way. Then Katherine cooked our Beetroot Ravioli, Butternut Squash Ravioli, and Farfalle with fresh pesto and presented it for us all to enjoy with some delicious salads. A lovely way to learn a new skill, and then a meal (that you've helped create) with great people at the end! Perfect!

Themed supper club for about 20 people sharing a long table. On our last visit we enjoyed a delicious Middle Eastern menu. Food was delicately spiced, generous and beautifully presented. Hosts are very welcoming, courses are timed to perfection and the evening passes very quickly! Excellent value, bring your own wine.
