Great couples bar - landlady is very friendly does great tricks with beer mats and corkscrew - never seen anything like it

What can I say. Just great hospitality from the landlord and landlady Mr and Mrs Plume. There’s an excellent selection of beers and wine and the landlady is an excellent chef. Only negative is the landlord’s shirt collection but apart from that the best place around to go for a drink.

Excellent little hideaway drinking den. Hosts occasionally give free drinks for regulars. The numerous pancakes on offer is also a highlight. Can't wait to go back.

I visited with my best friend and we were gobsmacked by the outstanding service they provided. The alcohol is scrumptious and the hosts have an exquisite taste. The lit fire pit warmed my frost bite cold hands just like the hosts warmed my heart with their kindness. The snacks filled my growling fierce belly and satisfied my needs. This was an eye opener to make me think about creating my own hospitality bar but it will never be as good as Plummies Bar. I strongly recommend this wonderful place. You must come if you visit the beautiful town of Sawbridgeworth.
