Today was the first visit to the wick lodge I've got to say the food was amazing enjoyed everything

Had a good family & friends time in their events room.

Will not be back. Even after my wife getting her food for free that she did not eat. Order food. Came cold but plate was hot. My wife had the noddle that were cold. Sent food back and said food was cold.so the meal was replaced with the same noddle out of the microwave. Now the noddles were like rubber. We will not be back even for free food

Our Sunday local, great place great staff ( mind you, the cakes should be £1 less ) I recommend this place for anyone up near the Martello

We have been here a few times and always enjoyed it. The food portions are large and well cooked. The staff are friendly & helpful

Really bad service, DO NOT COME HERE. The food tasted horrible and had no flavour whatsoever. The waitresses and bar staff were unorganised and all over the place and so rude towards customers. I honestly felt uncomfortable the entire time and some of the dishes were out of stock, what kind of service is that. Overall the place clearly needs Improving and the staff need proper training as they clearly can’t run a restaurant . Go somewhere else if you want a better experience, I honestly regret ever stepping foot into this place.

Great place to relax and enjoy a drink. Whole place was spotlessly clean with imaginative decor. Staff were friendly and the place has a cool vibe , will be going back soon.

What they don't tell schools on educational visits, is they don't accept kids debit cards. Not sure if it's they don't accept Mastercard. 🤔

It’s such a shame it was my leaving do that my colleagues had booked 20 of us it was very busy told only 1 roast left slow service wrong dinners brought out food really not up to standard 20 people who won’t return and who tell others about their experience !!

My husband and I have been together for brunch or breakfast a few times now.... We absolutely love it here, staff are always friendly but on our most recent visit the server was extra attentive and so nice. I love their American pancakes but last time I visited I couldn't finish the portion so I asked if I could have two pancakes Instead because I hate wasting food. The server was really accommodating, portion size was perfect after the adjustment! Coffee is always good and it's so nice to just soak up the rays in the conservatory on a sunny day. I'm disappointed I didn't take any photos to show but I was too busy tucking In!! I would say that maybe it's on the higher end of what a cafe would charge but I think that's reflected in the quality of ingredients used. I've just seen a few of the recent reviews, I'm quite surprised that there are few negatives points made. I myself could not fault the food or service. Looking forward to eating at the blue garden cafe again soon! I would agree that it is best to book to make sure you can get a table, it does have pockets where it can get busy!

Lovely pub. Nice staff and quick service, I thought drinks prices were cheap too. I did not have any food so can not comment on food. Lovely atmosphere overall.

Ate here yesterday evening. From the moment we emailed to book until we left everything was lovely. Despite us booking for the latest possible time of day, nothing was too much trouble. We were not rushed and both food and service was spot on. Excellent value for money and so helpful when we struggled to get a taxi (we are used to living in a 24/7 area!) If we are ever back in the area I would not hesitate to book again. The roast dinner was AMAZING!
