Great breakfast and very cheap with a great selection of food.

Great cafe on the seafront,with bar recommended

Spoke to the local bee keeper and he recommended the honey he harvested, bought out all 3 jars and glad I did, was absolutely lovely thank you very much 🍯🐝

Food service would be better if they didn't walk up and down with your food in there hands amongst everyone walking past. The young ladies working there are friendly and polite. Just need a different approach when serving food to people

Found this cosy little beach side cafe/bar whilst walking along the gorgeous Clacton seafront. We had burger and chips and fish and chips and must say it was lovely. Would definitely go back.

It’s not sophisticated but it’s got everything you want in the way of food, drink, toys etc I recommend the Bacon and Egg Bap with a lovely coffee deal for £3.85. Soft roll-runny yolk-crispy bacon. PERFECT! Staff were well mannered and helpful.

All what you would expect from a beach front cafe. Breakfast, baps, ice creams and cafe lunch selections. Inside and some outside seating, bar and dog friendly. Has become a fairly regular trip and walk on sunny friday mornings to get a bacon or sausage bap with hot drink for £3. Usually open before 9 and perfect to a relaxed start to the day.

Love there cheese and ham toasties washed down with a brandy or four!! 😊

You need to clean your grill or get a new one all our food came swimming in BLACK oil!!! Bacon was grey with what looked like scabs on it, One little breakfast one blow out breakfast and 2 teas for nearly £20 so I decided to eat a few chips and some toast...well I wish I didn't, was sick just outside!

Our favourite stop for a breakfast roll. Social distancing works well, the staff are lovely and always cheerful.

Plus side this beach front cafe was open at 8:00 on a Sunday morning! Basic breakfast food with a veggie option but the tomatoes hash browns were quite oily only fried eggs available, a prompt No was the answer do you provide poached eggs, and to the question what do you get with the veggie breakfast? The reply ‘it’s written on the wall!’ Fair price....just! Could do with a self closing entrance door to keep the area warm.

Hi ordered two cheese and ham panini Order came but with cheese and onion Told the young lady who served me she said sorry and took into the kitchen then this the (I think she was the owner) came out looked like she wanted to fight me , and said you ordered cheese and onion, I said I would not of ordered that as my wife in allergic to onions. With that she snatches one of the panini and disappears into the kitchen and returns with a cheeses and ham with this attitude I picked up the pininis and left, not trusting the witch I through both of them away just in case she only took the onion out and replaced it with ham . So the old trollop needs to look after her customers because not all of them are only down for the day some of us live here.

Nice location in Martello Bay, dogs can go in the bar area on leads. They have a good selection of food and do an offer for a roll and hot drink which is good value. They sell Kelly's ice cream and also have a bar that serves alcohol.

Basic cafe /tea rooms serving simple but tasty pie pasties cakes and sandwiches plus tea coffee etc. Also sells basic beach stuff like bucket and spade wind breaks etc. Very friendly with inside and outside seating. Family and dog friendly. Been there forever

Great little find whilst having a walk along the beach. Clean, reasonable and good food. Will definitely visit again. We sat by the window looking out across the sea with friends we have a nice little breakfast a long good chat.

Clean and friendly little place, food is wholesome and reasonably priced. They also have Kelly's of Cornwall ice cream, there must be 2 dozen different flavours.

This is a great place to stop and relax . Good selection of food and drink and there is a bar as well. Lovely views of the sea as this is on the sea front just passed Toby on way to Jaywick. Outside seating and also toilets inside. Worth popping in to .

A lovely clean cafe just down the road from Clayton pier right on beach front.serves great food and really good value for money.

Often pop in here for a coffee and a sandwich or a ham, egg and chips. Great little beach cafe, good prices, plus fast and friendly service.

Despite visiting in winter when we were the only ones there, this provides lovely views over the beach. A good selection of ice-creams, along with fish & chips, breakfast options, burgers and more. The man serving was friendly. Our bacon butties were delicious, but the coffee wasn't for me. Note that this is a beachside cafe, not a fancy restaurant with formal dining. I'd like to visit in the summer, although I can imagine it will be significantly busier. Certainly somewhere I'd return and recommend if in the area.

My husband and I enjoy the diner with views across the beach, and the opportunity to meet local people and visitors to Clacton-on-Sea. A great place to meet up with friends and family, in a relaxing and friendly atmosphere! Good customer service and food is excellent, at very reasonable prices. Plus access for our wheelchair. Refurbishment looking good and much appreciated. Don’t forget to put the hand rails back up Andy! See you again very soon!

great breakfast again , the Beach Dinner owner very friendly man . I would recommend at anytime , but great area to be in during the summer with the family , sits on the awarding winning beach.

Una gran ubicación justo en la mejor playa de arena en Clacton! Fuimos allí en tres ocasiones diferentes, porque nos gusta la ubicación, y el hecho de que no está demasiado ocupado en el bar. No es el Ritz, pero un bar/restaurante muy bien gestionado, donde puede conseguir buena comida y bebida, que corresponden a otros comensales locales.

Para el almuerzo mientras pasó por las visitas de la familia. Dejar que los niños apropiado para recorrer, pero no muy limpio, acogedor, o una buena relación calidad-precio. Tema accesibilidad interior con faringitis estreptocócica, repentina en los locales bajo umbral de pendiente, espacio insuficiente por debajo de las mesas para las sillas de ruedas y no existan asientos fuera para gente con problemas de movilidad. El tocino bocata rápido pedí fue tristemente carente de sabor y frío.

Este lugar es sin duda fuera de lo común! La primera vez que he tenido el pescado y patatas fritas junto al mar con patatas fritas congeladas listas cortada. El pescado era insípido. Nunca antes la izquierda pescado y patatas fritas: otro primero. No sé cómo puedes pedir una copa en el bar. Intenté telepathy pero que no funcionaba, la tos no funcionaba, creo que hay que pedir el "chef" por su nombre. Buena suerte. Creo Blinkie los peces de Simpsons acabamos en Clacton.

Hemos estado aquí un par de veces, en esta ocasión compramos pescado fresco y patatas, un buen bacalao a medio fresco finas y una buena porción de patatas fritas.

Lanchas de tripulación de Clacton tenía una vez más un gran desayuno agradable temprano cada día antes del Air Show comenzó. Como siempre muy bien atendidos por el personal de la gerencia. Tienes que probar el desayuno, comprimido o por la noche en el bar y disfrutar de las vistas al mar.

We often pop in here after a seafront walk, for an icecream or a spot of lunch. Food is always freshly prepared and cooked and done as you wish and its always really tasty. Friendly and enjoyable.

We came here as we could not get in the Toby Carvery. What a good result this was. We both had full English breakfasts which were served very quickly and were really tasty.The staff are very friendly and the mugs of coffee lovely.Looks like the Toby has lost two customers.

On the front in Clacton-on-Sea is a traditional English diner with a little twist, that caters for all your sea side needs. From Kelly's Cornish ice cream, an ice cold beer, fry up, fresh fish n chips and a bucket and spade. All with out even leaving the beach

Passed this place a fair few times when walking some weight off along the seafront and always thought it looked a touch seedy. Popped in today and had a ham, egg and chips plus a coffee. Clean bright and super friendly. Nice little bar area. Service was fast and the meal very good. Chips nice and crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Eggs cooked just right – whites hard and yokes runny just how I like them. Simple meal and really enjoyed it and not very expensive.

Well I think the title sums this place up! Super breakfast! The owner is friendly ,the bar serves all types of drinks wine,spirits ,bottle drinks,draught,the cafe sell teas coffees all day food,breakfast, dinner ,tea, great fresh cooked food while you wait,the views are fantastic! Waves lapping up the beach,sometimes hitting the sea wall ! Its coming up to summer come on everyone get your trunks on bikinis check this place out! Then try the ice creams loads to choose from, I love the rum and raisin one ! Check above the bar for the funny captions as well they are sure to make you laugh to the owner and staff see you again very soon !

On an evening walk along the waterfront and we found the Beach Diner Bar open.A number of friendly Lifeboat men on their way home, were enjoying conversation and a few beers. No draught beer except Guinness and Carlsberg Lager, otherwise it was bottled beers. It is located on the sea front wall by the Lifeboat Station there are tables inside and out where you can eat meals.We also visited a couple of times to buy ice creams which were sooo good.

Well summer 2015 is finally here and glad to be back at this beach diner,the meals are very good and most meals under £6 ! The owner Is very friendly, it over looks the beach which is sandy and very safe,picnic tables outside if it's sunny lovely to watch the world go by lovely quaint little bar and cafe just to the left of bar but all in one venue,this place reminded me of Cornwall or a little Spanish bar,for those people who are not sure where it is walk past tobys pub it's just a minute walk further up the promenade,behind this is the new life boat place also worth a look, any way see you soon back again this weekend !

I have a frequent breakfast here and the odd beer in the evenings. Great food, great service, great price. Great menu, spot on.

Go here quite regularly, for a beer in the evening and for food some mornings. They even have a takeaway food section and shop for the summer months. Reasonable drink prices and food always comes out quickly. Just what you want on a visit to the seaside.

Bar on the front over looking the sea we had drinks and kellys rum and raisin ice cream £1,60p for a big dollop of ice cream there was lots of choices on the menu and we watched people tucking into the food the young man told me they were open all year round, so will come back for a re visit summer and in the winter as well !sat outside on pick nick bench and people watched while having a cold beer if you have a club like classic cars or motorbikes then grab your friends and give this place a visit good place to watch the world go by! thanks to all the friendly staff

Enjoyed great breakfasts here at a very reasonable price and cooked to order. Kids enjoyed Kelly ice cream and being able to run on the beach while we enjoyed an early evening glass of wine. Julie and Andy the owners think of everything. Will return to try a piece of cake from the new cake case with a lovely cup of cappuccino.

The beach diner is a great place to relax in the sun with a cold beer in the summer. But it's appeal doesn't stop there, it's open all year round! Great for a cuppa and bacon roll in the winter while walking the dog, also a brilliant evening or party venue. They used to have a top resident DJ available for party's, but sadly he retired :-( never the less, the beach diner is a brilliant place day or night the whole year through.

If you are heading to Clacton dont miss a visit to The Beach Diner. Brilliant cafe offering a wide selection of food all at reasonable prices. Also offers a bar area with indoor and outdoor seating, and a great beach shop. Located in a sandy bay where the beach is never lost. Definitely something for all the family.
