Food was great and arrived quickly, the prices were good and the staff were very friendly. Dog friendly too! Can’t fault It!

Very disappointed. Unfortunately the Red Lion has gone down hill in the last few months. Not a great choice on the menu especially if you are not keen on burgers. The portions were small and you had to order fries as extras which made it quite expensive. Will not returning anytime soon if the menu remains the same. Such a shame.

It's tired and desperately in need of tlc. We arrived just after the kitchen closed at 9pm. The barman was the only person on duty and was much faster asking for payment than comfortable. The whole place is 50yrs out of place, the rooms big but little to make them enjoyable. One plus is the large TV. Breakfast is a serve yourself full English. Low quality but lots of it. Probably the best bit. Must be better places at lower cost in Fakenham

Hello, I had a day out on the Buses from Cromer to Fakenham via Norwich. And I had an hour and a half to spend in Fakenham. So I popped into Costa Coffee and had a iced latte and cake. As it was a beautiful day. Lovely quiet location on Bridge Street. Perfect opportunity to chill out before catching the bus home via Sheringham.

This was our second consecutive Friday visit for the early evening bargain menu. We both had the excellent smoked haddock, leek & asparagus risotto followed by lovely mango panna cotta. Where else can you do this and (should you so choose) watch a bowls match at the same time? The bar staff are friendly and welcoming. We have also been here for our wonderful garden club annual dinners, our weekly yoga sessions and occasional coffee & sausage roll meetings with friends. How do they do it all so well? We often eat here at the Limes and the food is always very good and the bar is clean & tidy. Service is quick and the staff very pleasant and a particular reference must be made to Carol who is a very pleasant and efficient server. She is always on the move looking to ensure all customers are well looked after. We visit many Spoons around the country and we would say that Carol is the best server we have encountered on our travels not only in Spoons but also in many other establishments.
