I ordered tomato soup. It came out bitty and smelt and tasted like watery cup-a-soup with added sugar. Couldn’t eat it. Seen previous good reviews so I was very disappointed. Tea was nice. Staff were friendly. Feel bad leaving a bad review but they should never have served that.

Really friendly welcome - we were on our way to the coast after a long journey and wanted a snack and drink so stopped off in Fakenham. This was the perfect place and they were very flexible as lots of places start winding down service in the late afternoon.

Visited this lovely traditional café on a Monday in June. The service was great and quick too, though they were not busy. I had the full English breakfast which was excellent - one of the very best you will get anywhere, especially at such a reasonable price. My partner had the quiche with chips special, which she really enjoyed. Recommended if you like a traditional English café. Dogs are very welcome here. 5 stars!

Wow! Wow! Wow!. We went in with 3 dogs and was made very welcome. .Hubby had the big breakfast. It was the best huge breakfast he had ever had and was cooked perfectly. I had Ham, egg and chips. The chips were home made, the ham freshly carved and lots of it and the eggs perfectly cooked. We had a mug of tea each and the then pot of tea for two. Yorkshire teabags I reckon. Couldnt fault it. Wonderful all round

A great little gem of a cafe, small with only 5 tables, but service is fast . I thoroughly recommend the homemade tomato and the ham soup, the fruit scones are great as well.

What a friendly, welcoming, homely cafe. Delicious home cooked food. It’s like enjoying food in Grandmas kitchen with the buzz of family nearby…. It’s such a comfortable place.

Excellent breakfast. Top quality products. Excellent value. Owners are really friendly and welcoming. Appears most people who go are regulars so that's a positive on its own. You won't get better if you went to top restaurant

I had an excellent cooked breakfast here. It's a small place and it did fill up around lunchtime. In my view, this is exactly how a small local cafe should be, I wouldn't change a thing.

Stopped in for breakfast whilst awaiting my motorcycle undergoing its MOT and some work done. The staff were very friendly. I opted for the Big Breakfast which I thought was great value for money. For £7.50 you receive 2 sausages, 2 bacon, 2 eggs, beans, hash brown, mushrooms, 2 slices of toast and a drink! I have no complaints about the quality of the food and was very happy with my experience at The Tudor. I will definitely be back before I leave Fakenham.

Great breakfast at a great price. The eggs look overdone, but that's because I asked for them to be that way. All very nice and piping hot. Coffee was very good also. Will be going back. The toast was lovely and thick.

Old fashioned tea room. Most assuredly not fine dining by any stretch of the imagination. But what it lacks in decor, and gastronomy it makes up for in friendly service. Within 5 mins you are part of the family! Take your dog and you're in for life! Omelettes, Jkt spuds, sarnies, toast n T cakes or a buttered scone washed down by your choice of cuppa. N that's about it!! It is what it is, don't expect anything more and you'll be fine!!

A fantastic cafe for breakfast and lunch, everything on the menu is good be we highly recommend the home cooked ham with real home made chips. Add in a recent revamp, the home made Victoria sponge, the lovely owners and the fact that it is also dog friendly and you have the makings of the best cafe around.

Quiet season so it was empty when we got there, late afternoon. Looks a little worse for wear but don't let that fool you. Proper pot of tea, proper homemade fruit scones with proper local jam, 3 to choose from, and clotted cream. Dog friendly tea room owned and ran by two lovely owners who were helpful and chatty and couldn't do enough. Cheap and good honest food.

Called in today for lunch and had the best cheese on toast ever. Beautifully prepared and very tasty with side salad and pickle. Really friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The tea room is clearly popular and other dishes looked very appetising. Will be returning very soon.

I had just walked out of Costa Coffee because there was not one empty table that was not covered in dirty trays cups etc. and found this café. The first thing I noticed was the cleanliness. Not one dirty cup in sight . I was waiting to catch a bus, so did not have too much time. . So just ordered a tea. I noticed a couple tucking into a breakfast and it was a real plateful looking delicious. There is a fair selection on the menu, even a vegetarian breakfast. All prepared to order. When my tea arrived it was tea bag "in" and an individual milk jug. A dish available in which to place the used tea bag. The people were friendly and as soon as customers left, the tables were cleared, take note Costa. This place may lack the glitz and coffee selections of the modern chains but it leaves them behind for quality , friendliness , service and cleanliness. I may not get points on any card but when in Fakenham this will be my watering hole.

Found this little cafe after a long walk in the Fakenham area. Looked a bit shabby and uninviting from the outside (sorry!) but I went in anyway. Only one other customer in, which is not usually a good sign, but I was given a nice coffee very quickly, and the omelette I ordered for lunch was huge and delicious. Certainly worth a look, and if you like an omelette, then its a must!

In desperate need for a cup of tea and a bit to eat we called into here. The tea was lovely and the bacon sandwich was great too. Food cooked to order so there maybe a bit of a wait, but while waiting why not look through the leaflets about what there is to do in the area. A friendly place!

A rare weekend without the children took us to Fakenham where we stumbled upon this cosy little tea room. Pleasant service by husband and wife team (I think) and a very tasty good value big breakfast ! Local produce used where possible and all cooked to order. Everything seemed clean and drinks are all great value (actually included with the big breakfast)

Any lack in size is made up for in friendly atmosphere, nice service and good, affordable, homemade food. The perfect pit stop for a lift me up. The owners/staff should consider moving to larger premises, I believe their loyal customers would follow.

we arrived at the door and asked if they were still open(we had been told by another café that all the cafe's closed in 10 mins and we couldn't be served),the owners said if you would like anything we are happy to stay open. were we desperate for a drink and a bite to eat and so thankful for the great service. my wife had a soup and roll whilst I had a couple of hot sausage rolls and we both had a lovely cup of tea. The Tudor is a small tea room and has a tiny kitchen so not the place for large groups but we received a great reception and enjoyed the refreshments, the owners buy most of the food in from local butchers etc. and they explained they are happy to serve after the normal hours and often do. It was like meeting up with old friends they even gave us the local paper. certainly for us we will now only use the Tudor when visiting Fakenham antique shops.

Awful food, awful service, Fried oil smoke choking fumes filed the cafe.. The water urn for the coffee had not been refreshed, just reboiled and the tea tasted of fluorine, very greasy food thrown on a plate. I cannot say a good thing about this place. other than the lady serving tried to be pleasant..
