The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in Maldon East of England

Unfortunately our experience here wasn't good but perhaps it was just a bad day. We were told they had a backlog in the kitchen. We wouldn't have minded but we had small hungry children and 45 minutes was a while to wait. Then the food came and our mussels were not warm. Staff were very friendly and apologetic and did give us our money back.

First visit since this restaurant changed from being a Wimpy to now being called The Diner, I believe it’s the same people running it but a vast improvement now. A great choice on the menu and the food is 100% better than it was before. I had the half pounder and chips and my wife had gammon egg and chips, both were well presented and tasted lovely. She managed to fit in sticky toffee pudding and custard which looked lovely and she said it tasted great. There is a good selection on offer here at very reasonable prices, well worth a visit.

Another great Sunday lunch at Ye Old White Heart. The vegetables were cooked just as we like them. Excellent service from Ella and Clare.

Wonderful location shame about the food and service.

Called in for breakfast this morning good food and service. Went in today just the two of us order breakfast at the bar, collected our drinks and within five minutes food arrived, all hot and fresh so very good for a spoons. Waitress came over to check everything was okay which it was, nothing else to say really good breakfast at a good price in a nice clean and friendly pub.

Ordered haddock and chips it was obviously all frozen food and my fish was not cooked sufficiently. I won’t be going again.

Lovely old country pub with welcoming friendly staff. Typical pub menu, but desserts only at the weekends. Usually a couple of guest beers available..

Great service in the kiosk at the station and always with a smile! On a windy Monday when my brain clearly wasn’t functioning yet and I left my tea behind, the lovely lady (Steph) ran out and gave my tea to one of the train staff so I wouldn’t miss out on my morning cuppa. That is going above and beyond in customer service! Thank you very much! Have a great day! 🥰
