We are staying in Tollesbury and stumbled across great reviews for The Swan, so booked a table for Sunday lunch. Honestly, it's the best roast I've ever paid for. Back at our holiday cottage, we are feeling very content!

Had a Sunday roast here today, it was so good! Lovely beef and I loved that it came with pigs in blankets and cauliflower cheese. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was great. I thought desserts at £5 were a bargain - the apple crumble was well worth it!

We had a wonderful roast dinner here yesterday. They were generous portion sizes but with excellent food to match. Presentation was amazing and all of the party commented on how good the meal was. Save room for dessert, I can highly recommend the crumble and the Belgium waffle. We will definitely return but make sure you book as its a very small pub. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful.

Visited the recent Beer Festival on Fathers Day with live music on during the afternoon, so very busy and probably not fair basing the review on this visit. The staff were very helpful and friendly and all working very hard to keep the long queues for drinks to a minimum. Being the final day of the festival there was only a handful of beers available which was disappointing, also the advertised bbq, pizza and hog roast was misleading, because only pizza available on our visit, apparently one of the advertised style of food was available on separate days, which wasn’t clear on the flyers. Despite the above, everyone had an enjoyable visit, with nice vibe and great band. Looking forward to returning to try out the Sunday Roast in the future.

Always a warm welcome from Phil and his team. We enjoyed the homemade vegetarian pie with veg and yorky puds. Another excellent meal in a friendly atmosphere. A varied food menu with award winning real ales(camra) and plenty of choice behind the bar. Currently a beer and music festival with 80+ beers, ales, cider and wines to try out along side live music .

Visited here on Sunday 2 April 2023 for Sunday lunch. Had the breaded mushrooms to start, then the roast beef for main. Was stuffed by the end. Not quite enough gravy for me and I’m not sure that pigs in blankets and stuffing goes with beef, but I still ate them! Friendly staff and clientele.

We came across The Swan by chance whilst looking for somewhere to eat that was also dog friendly and the staff there where all so friendly and made us felt so welcome. We discovered it was only pizza available that night but we went for it anyway. I am so glad we did. Pizza was just awesome. The lady's at the pub kept coming by to check on us to see that all was ok. They made a fuss of my dog every time they went passed. We will definitely be back when we are in the area again.

Lovely country pub. Visited for Sunday Roast. We had the roast beef and it was excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful especially as one of our party was vegetarian and didn't fancy what was on offer on the main menu and she had a very tasty alternative. The only thing we felt let the pub down was that the toilet in the restaurant area could do with a bit of a spruce up. Otherwise would recommend for a leisurely Sunday Roast.

What a great place. Parked here for an overnight stay in my motor home. Phil (the landlord) was extremely welcoming. Unfortunately we chose quiz night to stay, so no food available. Made to feel very welcome by the other quizzers, and was last out of pub spending ages chatting with Phil. Decided to stay for Sunday lunch - a variety of options, and very full and hearty; it's set us up for the rest of the day. Would love to return for their beer festival in June.

Great service in the kiosk at the station and always with a smile! On a windy Monday when my brain clearly wasn’t functioning yet and I left my tea behind, the lovely lady (Steph) ran out and gave my tea to one of the train staff so I wouldn’t miss out on my morning cuppa. That is going above and beyond in customer service! Thank you very much! Have a great day! 🥰

Stoped on Saturday after around 2.30 hardly anybody eating Ordered two teas panini and sandwich . Notice says “good for is worth waiting for “ . Yes we waited went in to ask for the teas which eventually came Eventually the food and it was dreadful. The coleslaw looked runny and not to good at all . The BLT on white was truly awful pale fatty bacon the cheapest of bread and lettuce just inedible I went inside with the plates and told the girl who was indifferent and surprised Toilets awful no paper which I also said when I left Really poor experience
