Food Used to be lovely hear , new ownership food has gone down in quality and quantity, paid for xmas meal 2023 39+ per head, had pre ordered rib of beef - received Birdseye Boil in bag beef , it was just like it , i couldn't believe how small the portion size was and id had gastric bypass. will never eat there in future

Upon entry of the casino we received fantastic service on the bar and the restaurant. The food was very tasty and the service was friendly and quick. Very much recommended to visit. A+ restaurant.

At this time of year there is no better place to get your tree. Friendly staff, fresh trees from Scotland and decent prices (£40) I’d certainly recommend shopping locally here

-very good yogurt bowl -the toast is very nice -very great atmosphere -reasonably priced -waiters are a little slow

Great food, wonderful staff and a welcoming atmosphere, what more can I say. A definite return.

Staff were so helpful & polite from when we arrived till leaving. The food was amazing, everyone enjoyed the meal. Definitely visit again.

Please note that this cafe is no longer called Mad Hatters and is now the Waterside Cafe. The staff are friendlier and the food is lovely, they open at consistent times (handy as the toilets are only open when the cafe is). There was a lot of fuss when Mad Hatters lease was not renewed and the catering taken on by Derby City Council but it has in my opinion improved.

Had the valentine's meal. Food was vey enjoyable . Great service. Staff very helpful. Good atmosphere. Would recommend.
