The lovely people who run this pub always make us feel so welcome. We visit on our horses every Sunday, tie our horses on the tie rings and enjoy a drink and snacks in the garden. It is a lovely welcoming atmosphere with affordable drinks.

Great country pub, stopped in on the off chance of getting table after long walk around Elveston Castle Country Park, this pub is less than 2 miles away. Very busy with large car park at the rear, plenty of tables in beer garden outside. Good selection of traditional pub food which all looked and tasted fantastic with good sized portions. Good selection of beers on offer. Staff were brilliant, very friendly and helpful throughout. Allows dogs inside. Highly recommend.

Upon entry of the casino we received fantastic service on the bar and the restaurant. The food was very tasty and the service was friendly and quick. Very much recommended to visit. A+ restaurant.

Very interesting place. It's the usual garden centre with a restaurant but it is in a beautiful part of the countryside and has a nice atmosphere with some very delicious food, especially the chocolate cakes. It's a great place to meet up with friends and there's plenty of parking space, although I'm not sure what those huge metal storage containers that are that surround the car park are doing there. Would definitely recommend.

nothing but issues with their quality of stock. Everything I've had from this nursery seems to die or struggles to grow. I've given up with them now and I go to Woodgrow in Findern. Everything I have had from them does really well. Swarkestone Nursery stock is cheap for a reason.

Pizza was OK but not as good as the one I had in Top Valley in Nottingham. My concern at this one in Chellaston is that hardly any of the staff speak English and there is a massive communication problem. Surely they can have some workers on shift at all times whose mother tongue is English.
