If your looking for an authentic experience of shisha look no further, I have been to many shisha cafes in the UK and abroad but Mag-mug has been my favourite since its opening. The atmosphere, the music and the vibe are just so amazing and authentic. The staff take pride and dedication in making your experience that much more better The quality of coffee and food is incredible. I was particularly impressed with the level of professionalism in the service as they engaged and ensured every customer query is answered The closest comparison I have is to being in Taksim square. A nice quiet setting with the most perfect Arabic and Emirati music to make the setting much more better Absolute 10/10 Possibly the best shisha cafe within the whole of Nottingham.

Love the sourdough. Not quite sure yet with the value of the pastries. The lunch options looked great.

Tuvimos bebidas en la terraza, que era encantador, el servicio era lento, sin embargo, estábamos bastante relajados al respecto. Estábamos un poco abrumados por la comida, creo que porque históricamente el lugar ha tenido tan buena reputación que esperábamos más. Es triste que este lugar ha cerrado, pero en base a nuestra experiencia probablemente no habríamos regresado.

4 de nuestro grupo de 5 llegaron juntos. Había algunas mesas libres más una mesa grande en la parte delantera y sin cola. A pesar de que pedimos sentarnos e insistimos en que pediríamos incluso si nuestro último huésped no se presentó (estuvimos 2 minutos antes de lo que esperábamos) nos negaron asientos brutalmente. El aparente gerente dijo que era su política de fin de semana en caso de que otras personas aparecieran. Por qué un gerente sabotearía su negocio es un misterio para mí, pero su actitud agresiva confirmó que esa era su intención. Así que, sintiéndonos e incluso siendo no deseados, nos fuimos, para nunca volver.

Great pub with good atmosphere and beer selection. The only reason I'm marking it down 1 star is... why have a good selection of craft cans, but not have them visible to customers or have a list for us to pick from?

I have been to many hotels, this is by far the worst. The check-in time is very limited, and they require a significant payment to let you through. If you don't bring it in cash, you will have to look for an ATM dragging your luggage, because they won't let you in even to leave your suitcases. Old hotel, poorly ventilated and smelly room, with a private bathroom, but outside the room, with a trickle of hot water in the shower, no hot water in the sink and a toilet that drains badly. Very few plugs, on the table of one of the beds there was not even a lamp or a plug. If you run out of toilet paper or soap, you will have to buy it at the supermarket, because they do not respond to replacement requests that they are supposed to make via phone messages. Be careful, they will penalize you for anything, such as leaving the latch closed, because it is a regrettable locking system that can leave the room locked when you leave. It seems advisable to record how the keys are deposited at the end of the stay in a "self check out" mailbox showing the departure time, because they may also charge you money from a deposit that they require upon entry. Very poor customer service, only a bad-faced character will appear if there is some money to be taken, zero concern for the guest's well-being. Non-existent services despite what the advertising says, it is nothing more than an old-fashioned mansion without the slightest customer service. I have to go to Nottingham many times for personal reasons, but I will never set foot in this joint.

Just returned from Christmas Day Dinner at Browns Nottingham. What an absolute treat. The quality and choice of meal was delightful. Great staff and terrific service. Would recommend to anyone wanting to celebrate a special day/occasion.

Booked by mistake - hotel was completely unreasonable when I requested a refund for my mistake. Was even willing to meet half way and have only a partial refund to accommodate their inconvenience… but “computer said no!”
